useless app
worst app after the buy out to a new corporation, constantly asks you to log in, relentlessly asks to turn on location, glad I bought it on sale, and not full price, only .99c wasted
Have to re-login all the time, annoying when you want to just view maps or content. even worse when not in coverage!
This is not a free app with in-app purchases, it requires a $10 purchase to get past the login screen. This is not mentioned anywhere in the description and is deceptive. If you want people to pay a one off fee, then charge it up front.
Searched for free wikicamps, but this one is actually $10.
still an absolute drag to use, never recovered since the new app interface. wildly disappearing and reappearing map markers, extremely slow connection to their servers, warning at startup about slow internet do i want to go to offline mode? is 100mbps not fast enough for some inexplicable reason? your servers are the issue

Use to be good ,but all it wants in your bloody location, just give me the darm map,
putting in a location to search is pointless, app just shows anywhere.
They trick you into giving them all your information and then try and charge you $10. Deplorable bottom feeders.

Why do I constantly have to login again?
the info given is available somewhere else. waste of money and for some reason I don't get my money refunded
it used to be my go to for camping and sightseeing and planning stops on road trips. after the new mob took over its just a waste of space on my phone. mostly i cant even log in as verification codes never even get sent to email. their help just gives some generic "reinstall and sign in again" which cant happen due to their useless verification codes going nowhere. they have completely ruined such a great tool.
Can't use the app without paying and they make you sign up before demanding a 10 AUD payment. such a dodgy app!
downloaded, created and account to hit a wall where I had to PAY $10 to use... No thank you! would have been nice to be informed BEFORE I downloaded of the fee!
absolute waste of money , it won't load on any of my android devices and tech support just said it's not compatible without a fix . I am going to delete as it's just taking up space . thanks for nothing.
I have used WikiCamps since 2016 - before the latest update. It used to be really useful when you could use a browser to filter campsites and move around to evaluate exactly where the campsite is. Now you are restricted to using your phone making navigation of site options near impossible. Bring back the browser based version!
even worse they remived the version i paid for. dirty. dawgs. Big 4 caravan park bought this app and wrecked it due to the free camping and loss of business. Grub dogs.

SCAM!!! Paid for this, used it and then couldn't log in anymore. I sent a message to support and they simply say we can't find your account so you should pay again. Don't use this scam app is my advice.

Completely useless. It's a shell of its former self. Also bait and switch.
This App used to be great, but they've totally ruined it. Now either sits on the splash screen for several minutes, or brings up a "poor signal" message and forces me to use off-line mode (even on an extremely reliable 500mbps WiFi connection). Good work Devs, you've ruined it!
Atleast mention there's a it's not free beforemyou signup and you don't even get to see what the app is all about. not paying for something that I am unable to get a glimpse of first. Thanks but No thanks.
Not impressed that it was forcing me to pay without even being able to check out the app. Immediately uninstalled
no longer compatible with my samsung tablet which was way better to view than on my phone.
Very disapointed. I paid and downloaded to my phone however could not use the app due to my inability to see the information. tried to download to my laptop only to discover WikiCamps have stopped this ability. so much for supporting people with disabilities!

Gotta love being lead through the whole signup process before any mention of paying anything. Also, gotta love Google said you had a 4.4 rating, but Google PlayStore says 2.7.
fix it guys. come on. I used this app 12 years ago (Paid for it then too!) ans reinstalled again now, paid for it again & it's bloody hopeless. obviously over done and under loved. fit it. please. I have full bars of 5g and the app is telling me that the bloody thing doesn't have enough reception to run online. bloody terrible. fix the app. got a screen shot of you need it...
supposedly an easy app, as if. No matter what i do it will not accept my email address.
mandatory purchases. completely useless. shame, I heard good things about it before they completely destroyed it.
do NOT rely on this app. drove 7 hours and got close to our camp and this app decided it would go into offline mode and it has been stuck like that for 2 days. missed out on our campsite, when this app had vital information for us to reach it. got this app 4 days before hand ad got 4 days of use before this app simply has not worked again. this will SCAM $10 out of you and ruin your camping trip, like it did us.
This app is sooo annoying! I have to press 'not now' twice, everytime I look at a site without my location on. I'm just looking at places and shouldn't have to have my gps on for your info. but hitting the button twice each time as well is super annoying! I want my money back! Hate what you've done to the old app.
"Appears" free on the store, makes you create an account, and then immediately asks you to pay AUD 9.99 before the app even opens. And you don't even have a free trial, so you've got no idea what you're supposedly buying... I don't understand the marketing move here?
So disappointing. The old app took us around Australia and was the only thing we used to find great camp spots, water, dog friendly options and reception. Its GPS and off-line maps actually saved our lives when we were lost on a bush walk. The new app is now unrecognisable and totally useless by comparison. Why take a national treasure that was perfect and completely ruin it. Bring back the old wikicamps!
paid the sub and it worked for 2 days. now it says payment not detected. several emails and no response.no listed ph number so you cant speak to them either. absolute scam. these people should be stripped of the app store.
Yep. You got greedy. You forced sign-ins, restricting offline use and made the app comparatively worse. Uninstalling and moving to another platform.
Full paywall to even look at the app? Yeah nah. What a joke
