Considering you can not access this app on a laptop, it would be good if you could access it on a Chromebook. Limits the useability of this app. Disappointing.
Ever since the takeover by G'day parks the app became gradually worse. We've been using and help community feedback for this app nearly from its inception to create a beautiful database to be used to find camps with photos and reviews. It has been getting emphasis on G'day commercial interests (read more used commercial data and storage) by the month and the app therefore lagging and crashing ever more on older devices like Android 13 headunits and older mobiles and devices. So sad and betrayal.

worst Camping app ever, used to be good
So wanted to like this app! My partner and I have paid $20 for two licences. She's on Apple, I'm on Android - and there is no way of sharing or collaborating our planned trip? Not even via web? Really? And too bad if you own an Android phone and iPad. You can't even use the same login details on your own devices to see your trip. It's 2026 people. This is not good enough. Can we get a refund, as this app is not going to do what we need for a shared road trip!
This app was great before the update hack in 2023 I think it was. 3 years and you've not been able to revert or fix whatever it was you did it. So much useful info but it has become such a pain to use this app, everything is so slow an laggy, and it needs to reload every time you just minimize it to look at another app for a moment. No other app I use have these issues and this is unacceptable for something people have paid money for.
constant issues logging in after purchasing app
Unless you like paying twice for something, don't go near this site 👍 Was charged double $9.99 when signing up 9 days ago, have been emailing them since trying to attain a refund for overcharged amount, only to be given a bumsteer and excuse after excuse as to why it hasn't appeared back in my account. I've now given up 👍 and accepted the loss of cash, absolutely disgusted. Oh they whip your money out of your account quickly enough, and I can say this - no refund given for their mistakes.
if an app has so many negative reviews, don't ask for payment straight away , let us try it and make a call maybe?
difficult to navigate. the old version was easier
did not know it needed payment, made an account and everything only to be stopped at a mandatory activation screen. uninstalled immediately
The App has a multitude of issues. From not being able to save from an emailed route to not being able to have the Paid Profile on PC to design and edit routes etc. If you do use it on PC then it is very limited and will not allow you to save on your account. When using the App on a phone, it is frustraiting to edit and design a route as when switching between Map and Route you get sent to the start of you route but it is zoomed in and not the last location. Not worth the money, Use "Google E".
whilst google play shows in app purchases, the app makes you sign up., then mentions the 9.99 fee. now, they have data, I'll get spam email. etc just make it a paid app from the start
can't sign up, just reloads the page and doesn't recognise the verification code. so try again and it does the same thing.
middle of nowhere & can't use app, because it wants to update & no option to just use the existing version which I need as am in middle of nowhere!

worst app after the buy out to a new corporation, constantly asks you to log in, relentlessly asks to turn on location, glad I bought it on sale, and not full price, only .99c wasted
Have to re-login all the time, annoying when you want to just view maps or content. even worse when not in coverage!
This is not a free app with in-app purchases, it requires a $10 purchase to get past the login screen. This is not mentioned anywhere in the description and is deceptive. If you want people to pay a one off fee, then charge it up front.

still an absolute drag to use, never recovered since the new app interface. wildly disappearing and reappearing map markers, extremely slow connection to their servers, warning at startup about slow internet do i want to go to offline mode? is 100mbps not fast enough for some inexplicable reason? your servers are the issue

Use to be good ,but all it wants in your bloody location, just give me the darm map,
putting in a location to search is pointless, app just shows anywhere.
They trick you into giving them all your information and then try and charge you $10. Deplorable bottom feeders.

the info given is available somewhere else. waste of money and for some reason I don't get my money refunded
it used to be my go to for camping and sightseeing and planning stops on road trips. after the new mob took over its just a waste of space on my phone. mostly i cant even log in as verification codes never even get sent to email. their help just gives some generic "reinstall and sign in again" which cant happen due to their useless verification codes going nowhere. they have completely ruined such a great tool.
Can't use the app without paying and they make you sign up before demanding a 10 AUD payment. such a dodgy app!
downloaded, created and account to hit a wall where I had to PAY $10 to use... No thank you! would have been nice to be informed BEFORE I downloaded of the fee!
absolute waste of money , it won't load on any of my android devices and tech support just said it's not compatible without a fix . I am going to delete as it's just taking up space . thanks for nothing.
I have used WikiCamps since 2016 - before the latest update. It used to be really useful when you could use a browser to filter campsites and move around to evaluate exactly where the campsite is. Now you are restricted to using your phone making navigation of site options near impossible. Bring back the browser based version!
even worse they remived the version i paid for. dirty. dawgs. Big 4 caravan park bought this app and wrecked it due to the free camping and loss of business. Grub dogs.

SCAM!!! Paid for this, used it and then couldn't log in anymore. I sent a message to support and they simply say we can't find your account so you should pay again. Don't use this scam app is my advice.

Completely useless. It's a shell of its former self. Also bait and switch.
This App used to be great, but they've totally ruined it. Now either sits on the splash screen for several minutes, or brings up a "poor signal" message and forces me to use off-line mode (even on an extremely reliable 500mbps WiFi connection). Good work Devs, you've ruined it!
Atleast mention there's a it's not free beforemyou signup and you don't even get to see what the app is all about. not paying for something that I am unable to get a glimpse of first. Thanks but No thanks.
Not impressed that it was forcing me to pay without even being able to check out the app. Immediately uninstalled
no longer compatible with my samsung tablet which was way better to view than on my phone.
