designed by idiots. forces you to give your membership number in addition to your email/password but when you click "forgot member number" or whenever it just sends you a password reset email WITH NO LINK. absolutely unusable.
Useless app. Can't even edit your reservation. This app does nothing except constantly try to sell to you and get more money.
Doesn't function. Wasn't able to check in or out. Had to call customer service to get the app to even show me my reservation.

You literally can't log in if you've switched to a passkey.
the app is not fully in dark mode it is a strain on the eyes. please add dark mode function to turn the app entirely in dark modein the app......not this zebra theme....

app failed to cancel my reservation, cost me a night.
Very difficult as the apps only allowed 1 room per reservation. I'm now staying with Hyatt and the staff here is sharing the same issue which should have been highlighted to the Hyatt Group. I have to cancel my reservation via the apps in order for me to get 2 rooms under the same reservation which is super annoying. Countless email to the other Hyatt in Malaysia returned zero reply. I tried using the helpline from the apps but the avergae waiting time is 15mins. Waste of time via this apps
difficult to use .. every search no rooms available at every location and no way to expand search
Can't log in using app
Park Hyatt Auckland is the worst Hyatt I have stayed with. They screwed up my room type from twin room to King room. We checked in very late almost midnight and we have to wait for an hour for them to fix their mistake.
I applied for the Hyatt card was approved saved it to Google pay and then was not able to use it. You won't be able to use it for the booking you applied for it either because Hyatt does not take Google pay only the physical card. It's very misleading. If I receive the card before check in, then I may be able to get things switched over and receive the promotion. Just don't count on using the card for the current booking online like I was led to believe.
Won't let me sign in
extremely slow loading times every time the app is opened. This is happening on a high end phone with good network connectivity

This review is 6 years old. Hyatt replied in 2023 promising improvements. Still ZERO improvement on profiling their rooms. This is pure laziness on Hyatt's part. Hyatt members are doing Hyatt's job for them, making videos on YouTube. Hyatt doesn't deserve this kind of loyalty. Dropped from 4 stars to 2. Do better, Hyatt.
Huge battery drain issue
budget experience overall. the location is in the zona hotelera which may be good for some, the water is warm. the premium lounge is very basic, the beach area is extremely small and crowded, most decent beach seats fill up quickly and cabanas go for $150 each. weakest feature is the food, the buffet is roughly at the level of a Hyatt place breakfast. restaurant queues are at about an hour each except the Mexican place, which is good.
