The worst experience you can imagine. 50 euros per month, and for what? No practice or qualification replays, and only in german? Not even an English option? No wondering pirating is on the rise again, you can simply have a better experience there

Ich habe WOW hauptsächlich wegen des HBO-Katalogs abgeschlossen. Während der laufenden Vertragslaufzeit wird ein wesentlicher Teil dieser Inhalte entfernt. Statt einer fairen Einzelfallprüfung erhalte ich nur standardisierte Antworten zu „Lizenzvereinbarungen“ und „Mindestlaufzeit“. Wenn der Hauptgrund für den Vertragsabschluss wegfällt, handelt es sich um eine wesentliche Leistungsänderung, nicht um eine Kleinigkeit.

Constantly continues shows on the wrong episode, can't choose the correct episode from the "continue watching" menu but through the search function and then you have to watch another ad. Also the continue list desperately needs a delete option for when I don't like a show or movie and do not plan on continuing it. And on top of that this horrendously unusable app keeps showing movies as unfinished in the continue menu unless you watch until the final second if the end credits

illegally hard to cancel subscription (needed to cancel 3 for 1 subscription). Also you cannot use this with VPN on.
This is not a review of the content but the apps themselves. They are terrible!!! For example they cannot deal with following on where one has left off in a series. Leave at the end of the most recent episode come back and choose continue it replays the very same episode!!!! So frustrating and infuriating!!!!
Der Service ist kaputt, da die App nicht erkennt, dass sie bereits Werbung gespielt hat. Weiter zeigen sie zwei Minuten lang Werbung, nachdem ich dafür 50 Euro bezahlt habe. Die Erfahrung ist auch in der TV-App gleich. Vollständiger Unsinn.
90second of compulsory ads for every single stream in a paid service?! They are PIRATES!! A 10 episode season get you 20min of ads!! On top of that, the functionality is terrible. Worst streaming service to date, run from it.

Very unethical workflows. Managing your account and subscriptions is deliberately designed to discourage cancellation. Subscriptions are divided into smaller categories, so even if you cancel the premium, the others keep running until you individually cancel them. The cancel process takes more than 5 redirects and clicks to confuse the user and avoid completion of the action.
130s long advertisements are an absolute joke. Every time you start a new episode or film there is an advertisement this long, it's absolutely ridiculous. I am so disappointed with what this service has become
not all shows have English subtitles and there are no BASIC options to customize the size of subtitles, remove background...we are in 2025 guys, wake up!
maximal in transparent Kündigung dauert viel zu lange Downloads müssen nach Ablauf erneut heruntergeladen werden und sind nicht einfach wieder aktivierbar. wenn man versehentlich bei nem Film auf Play drückt hat man auch nur 48 Stunden Zeit Diesen zu schauen... einfach bescheuert. abgesehen von der Auswahl der schlechteste streaming Dienst den ich je genutzt habe. die iPad App z.b. kommt nicht damit klar, wenn sich bei einer Toilettenpause der Bildschirm sperrt... einfach traurig
Streaming ist nicht möglich. Ständig gibt es Probleme es auf ein Android TV zu streamen. Ander wie Netflix und co. existiert keine native Android App. Einfach nur schlecht. mein Abo wird gekündigt.
I will cancel my subscription. How can it be that the app always logs me out no matter what phone or ipad I use. Then the sudden language change? That also always triggers a crash. And then when you try to logging again and continue watching. It won't even remember where you stopped lol. It's actually so so sad because you have the best movies and shows on your platform but it's so not usable and definitely not worth the price if you need to struggle so much everytime you watch something.

Nur auf dem Handy sinnvoll, wenn man auf dem Fernseher schauen möchte, die größte Katastrophe. Schlechte Anwendung, die es gibt.
Episodes are not there on Premiere. Watched movies/Shows need to be run till the last second, or they remain in the HOME screen as "continue watching". Customer Service promised solutions they cant keep, so they say "duh, we are sorry we lied to you!" Many many flaws with this company and app. Also this app FORCED ME TO RATE IT. enjoy the one Star. And ofc, you need to watch ads, that are promos but ofc they are Not ads. you get the scam idea here!
paying to watch adds - the audacity
App verlangt nach einem Update, um sie zu benutzen. Ohne dieses funktioniert sie nicht. Im Play Store wird mir aber keins angeboten. Ganz große Klasse!
App opens, but doesn't allow me to use it, although I use it on my television AND am paying for it and watching commercials for my money. THIS APP SUCKS PLEASE REPROGRAM IT. Looks like I can't enjoy it like Netflix, YOUR COMPETITOR, on my phone.

Seit der neusten Version bleibt die App oft hängen, es hilft nur force stop und cache clear in den Einstellungen. Dazu ist die live Programübersicht alles ausser übesichtlich. Mann muss sich schon wirklich Mühe machen es so schlecht zu programieren. Es würde mich wirklich interessieren wie sah UAT Testing und darauf die Abnahme der Ergebnissen...
wer kam auf die grandiose Idee, dass man in der App keinen Account erstellen kann?

What a terrible app. Are developers paid cents to work on it? Hollywood movies dubbed in German are available in 5.1 sound but English are not 🙄
Downloaded content can constantly not being watched. App randomly signes out user and doesn't allow accessing downloaded content anymore, super annoying when on a plane. Then downloaded some of the downloaded videos can't be watched because the download expired, while others downloaded at the same time did not expire. Not app related but Wow is the only streaming service I know that does not work in a web browser on Linux.
1. it's expensive relative to the catalog that they offer 2. downloads are available for only 1 day 3. you can't open the app when you're on vacation 4. you can't watch in a web browser 5. many shows/movies are only in german overall not worth it
Worst streaming service ever. You pay for the subscription and still have to watch 2 minutes of ads before each episode of the TV show. Nope, thank you...

the system is not intuitive, you can't switch the home area to English! and even if a show is originally filmed in English (and annoyingly always starts dubbed) then you don't get translations when a show also has some foreign language subtitles you can't have English translation as well
comparing to other streaming companies Wow offering is complicated and potentially illegal. Buffering is faulty, UI poorly designed and not performing well. Be careful with locking contract for longer period of time, they do not add a meaningful amount of content to justify the use after a month
Since newest Update: TV Casting not working on Android Mobile. Language and Subtitles not working on Android Tablet.
I used to be able to watch their Sky Sport News channel through the app without a subscription but they changed it now, it's not possible anymore. Doesn't make sense to me to put a news channel behind a paywall but it is what it is.
This is without a doubt the worst streaming app I have ever used, by far. And somehow, every single update only seems to serve the purpose of making it even more inconvenient and more difficult to use. If they didn't have a whole bunch of stuff I want to stream, there is no way I would ever keep using this app.
Abo werden nicht in der APP berücksichtigt und ich muss Werbung schauen. Im Browser kein problem. Keine automatische Speicherung von bereits angesehen Folgen. Support macht keinerlei Versuch das Problem zu lösen.
Crashes with DeX and in Browser WOW does not allow you to stream on your phone. Asks you thousands of times for feedback. If you want to write something, tells you its not supported and you should write an email. Awful user experience.
tv does not stream because of non existent other stream. but only other device I used before shows same error. error code OVP_00014 pitiful development. get some developers from Netflix
