★★★★★ "Awful. Full of fees for everything. Transfer money between wallets? 500 won fee. Topping up with a credit card? 4% fee. And of course it's also very unintuitive, giving you two wallets only so they can fleece you at every opportunity. I don…" - Paolo Scanferla

Awful. Full of fees for everything. Transfer money between wallets? 500 won fee. Topping up with a credit card? 4% fee. And of course it's also very unintuitive, giving you two wallets only so they can fleece you at every opportunity. I don't understand why it gets recommended.
high fees everywhere
Can't sign up server error. Wasted my money buying this card
do yourself a favor, don't get the card don't use this service, just get a one time train card or T-money
Your WOWPASS CX is very poor at Airport. Very less clarity land lots of confusion for a First time Tourist. In India the whole system is very smooth and near to 0 complications. You require to improve a lot. Primary facia experience with your Wow Pass in issuance process is very bad.
Australians will have problems loading from Australian bank accounts as it is prohibited under Australian law. Don't use as their customer service will not realise. No refunds either.
Worst application ever. Scam pretty much. Currency exchange rate is unfair. You can't transfer balance to Tmoney. Application itself trying to sell you something daily.
Shittiest application ever! They force you to install it but anything you do there's a pointless fee! Avoid at all costs
can't top up after the update, it was fine before that
Absolutely shet app with high transaction fee and foreigner unfriendly. Completely useless
Only advantage compared to Revolut is the mobility card. And even that you can only top up if you have a Samsung phone. Yep. I'm not kidding. They still charge you almost 5% fees for topping up the card. Pretty much the same as if you withdrew money on a South Korea ATM with Revolut. And the exchange rates are worse than Revolut
not sure what is the issue but I can't load money in the app via wise card. before I reach SK I had already set up the account but once I landed there I needed to reset my password. after that, it was downhill from then onwards. I can't link to my card. throughout the rest of the trip I completely abandoned the app.
you are better off taking the bank charges from your bank the customer service team are unreliable (pretty sure its ai) unable to top up at all with my card via the app. keeps dealing even though I am providing authorisation for the payment to go through. it's ridiculous!! I'll definitely be using an alternative next time!! *add they think it's appropriate to request debit card details trying to break GDPR compliance and regulations via the livechat
Sneaky card. They make you deposit money and then you cannot withdraw in the airport.
Will keep me in an endless loop where it asks me to verify my email, it confirms, but then say there's no email registered. Can't sign up for this. So frustrating.
loading circle loading circle loading circle, have to find a wowpass machine, this app just an L
can't load tmoney with credit card. therefore can't ride subway without an actual t money card or having cash. anywhere that takes wowcard basically takes the international credit card. except subway only takes tmoney card. basically this wowcard is a scam
The app crashed my phone. I also couldn't get the e-sim to work.
It says can check Tmoney balance card. Doesn't work with any Tmoney card
You better use LOCA Mobility card which sold on GS25 cvs. It can reduce all the fees and can use merged balance with transport card and debit card. And this costs only 3,000 won
The app is decent but it only works if im connected to WiFi. I am using Saily as my mobile data provider while I'm here in South Korea and my other apps work well on it. But the Wowpass app only works when I'm on Wi-F not mobile data.
Its good when it works. Its a little confusing as its like a bank card, with a second travel account on it. You can pay for things in stores or use the second account and pay for transport. However topping up payment is exhausting, often can only by cash, and not all stores. The travel card part is topped up by topping up the main account and then hoping the app decieds its going work long enough to transfer money over. Too complicated for what it should. This is across both Android and IOS.
Be careful! You can buy the card with, say, a Visa credit or debit card, but you cannot reload card value. If you don't have Mastercard or JCB, you have to use cash to reload! So you pay exchange fee, then reload fee. Transit cannot be used on many busses or on the ICN to Seoul Station train. I had passport validation issues too. Rating increased based on helpful reply. They care.
While the card itself has been useful, the app to manage it not so much. Not able to top up using a Visa card (PayPal option diseapeared) and accessing the t mobile account throws an error.
