A $10 increase per device for the annual subscription is a wild price hike. I will not be renewing.
Pretty horrible experience with Wyze camera and support on the new Pan cameras. They don't respect detection zones, return to homepoint, etc. continually have to calibrate and still won't work. had a support ticket open for months working with support and submitting logs but after multiple months, I gave up and asked for a refund...WHICH WAS DENIED. I was offered credit or new cameras....why would I want more cameras that don't work? Horrible customer support and experience.
This amazing app won't even let you login any longer. I'm in a login loop from hell.

Misses big events, or records a tiny snippet of the event. Sometimes it'll say it recorded a 5min video but when I watch it, it's a frozen image for the whole video. 80% of the time live view won't load the video and gives a disconnected error, but its still recording events. The cameras are nice and cheap but the software is TERRIBLE! to be clear I have FIVE cameras, some right next to the router. I've troubleshot ad nauseum, I work in tech on mobile apps. widely reported issues by many users
Quality of every aspect has dropped sharply. Completely unreliable and inaccurate and zero response from Wyze.
if you want junk then these are the best pieces of junk you can waste your money on.
this has really gone downhill. one camera bricked with all these updates and now playback seems jittery/blurring even at 1440p. Update now when checking whos intruding on my property im hit with pop up ads for subscriptions.
5.6.26 Update. back to 1 star. i am constantly missing critical notifications. Also, it seems like I can't load my automations until I turn wifi off and use mobile data. Then events don't load, unless I have a strong signal (like om with wifi). very frustrating! 5.5.26 Update. I got it all back after uninstall and re- install. And to my surprise, this time I didn't have to reprogram everything! I don't know what the fix was, but all is working for now.
Wyze is a complete Ripoff, the products are cheap made china, you buy there product and they dictate what features you're going to get, which are generally the most common features that everybody wants. The only way you get the features pretty much basic and normal is you have to pay them a monthly fee. Absolutely. Wish I'd never started using their products.
Can't log in. Constantly loops me back to sign in screen or the create passkey screen, even after creating a passkey.
trash the wyze doorbell won't let me talk out of them it statics really bad and now they turn my services off because they messed up you got to have no protection tonight and wait until tomorrow to call them and sell it and they probably still don't care they're not going to change nothing I used to think they were great but now they're horrible it's all about money
Unreliable cameras, short batterylife, constant false notifications, and slow to operate when detection zone senses a person. Ctap security system.
horribly slow. laggy. unresponsive and crashes frequently. please stop updating the app if you havent tested the updates first. you broke it.
this update ruined the app for me. battery is being destroyed while all runs in the background on my Google pixel 10. turned off background service and still eats away at the battery ..... have to force stop after each use.
Wyze sucks now. I bought two Battery Cam Pros. they only record images instead of 12 second clips. even with an SD card. I can't return them because I threw away the packaging. won't be buying or recommending Wyze cameras anymore
Back to not working again after updates. I do not recommend investing in these products, until they work the bugs out, not worth the time to keep troubleshooting the product’s.
I wish I could give zero stars this is without a doubt the worst app I've ever used.
5/2026:UPDATES. ! Take away free options.. they do not give, disappointed.. WYZe updates they continue changes, worsen the app, confusing! recording are NOW taken from your sd card (not allow U now! to watch!?) .. it is terrible!!!!! have find another cams BRAND !! wyze CAMS, WHY ?! because they DESTROY THE APP. it ALL is pay to see replies from wyze reps below are padded/cut paste responses.!! shows clearly they DO NOT CARE.. we have to stop buying! to get there attention to fix the app✋️
solar cams are great I have a V4 that is absolutely trash. why does it fail in comparison to the solar cam? 5/4/2026. dear wyze Ive done ALL THAT several times. actually I do it daily. the v4 needs serious work and should have never been released

I'll never buy a Wyze product again. Every time I go to use it I'm logged out and of course don't have the password when I'm not at home. so incredibly annoying.
DO NOT USE THIS BRAND!!!! It just keeps getting worse...at first everything worked great... now the push notifications don't always show the event, FedEx can pull in the driveway, deliver multiple packages, and the camera never even tell you that an event happened... I guess the search continues to find a decent security camera system. UPDATE.... I tried the link in their response... Ai generated and EXTREMELY unhelpful.... DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON WYZE
can't use live view for more than 2 minutes or else the camera goes offline indefinitely. return your wyze product right away . this has happened to me countless time idk why I even keep this trash product
your GARBAGE app doesn't work on Android or iPhone. I wish I knew your app was GARBAGE before I bought 7 CAMERAS.
This has got to be the worst setup of any camera I've owned. Refunding this garbage camera.
AI customer support can't make it's mind up and gives varying instructions on how to find "messages" in my account tab. I have no way to find the "invitation" from a client who wants me to access their cameras while their on vacation. Thank god I'm not a customer. Based off this experience I bash this company to anyone who asks me about my opinion on cameras.
there's a person walking around and the video is short. birds flying and the video is longer. the cameras are defective.
paid for home monitoring. app is trash. doesn't allow you to move devices off the hub. leak detector under general still sets off the hub alarm. so many bugs its ridiculous.
The app keeps eating my Battery! something needs to be fixed asap.
app is easy to navigate but I can only watch 3 or 4 motion videos before it starts freezing and then makes my phone crash, every single time. Edit: As of 5/2/26 after latest update, I'm no longer able to hear any audio from clips recorded and app suddenly goes back to the home screen while viewing recorded clips. The cameras also miss a lot of movement and don't record. AND THEYRE RAISING THE PRICE BY AN EXTRA $30 A YEAR FOR MY 3 CAMERAS. RIDICULOUS. I think its time to find another set up.

My camera worked fine for a long time. I have it on pan scan and it's always worked fine with my waypoints that I have set. Now it's doing all kind of crazy stuff I can be at work and look at my camera and they've moved where they're either pointing straight up or straight down causing me to have to reset and reset and reset my waypoints throughout the day. When I set them it starts aiming lower and lower and lower and lower until it's finally at the lowest point (the floor) what is going on!
The app is completely worthless. I brought 3 new light switches and the app will not let me add them.

Owned 11 total cameras and 6 still working and multiple other devices where most failed after warranty expired since the company started and now all they do is strip away features that came with each camera and force you to pay an ever increasing ridiculous subscription per camera, getting rid of them all (6) once the last two paid subscriptions come up for renewal. The cameras are hit or miss when detecting a person most times. I will buy another brand that isn't a rip-off
honestly these cameras are literally horrible, I lose connectivy all the time its honestly really annoying to unpair and re pair everything again and honestly everything is updated on the app and its not my internet when im at home I have (2GB). when im not home I understand with connectivy, its a different connection. but im planning on canceling and switching 🤦♂️

used to be wonderful. App now super slow and sluggish at times, when cameras are in groups scrolling through the cameras will cause massive lag as it loads only those in view. then have to reload them when they barely come back into view. Just load them all and leave loaded. Reloading over and over while scrolling makes it unusable or gets errored out.
Inexpensive tech, works fine, but software is lacking at best... Example: you purport to sell security hardware, but can't manage to have more than the default notification sound available in the software.... Staff are spread thin it seems.
Price keeps going up. I will never recommend this camera service to anyone else. 30 bucks a month for new customers for a service that was free when I started buying the cameras. Will be replacing with my own backed up cameras soon.
WTH.. after the latest Firmware update, I'm unable to view the Video Clip of Event. instead it shows just the Screenshot of the Event. and it's asking for Payment to view the Video of Event.. what a rip off.. Going to switch to a different brand instead of having to pay every month..

A heads up, your SD records are buried so you have almost give up 2 find em. When u go to the main cam time line you see pics but vids say "get cam plus to enable" and get no notice or guidance. On the main timeline it should say "See Vids on SD" bt u hv to manually go 2 Home-Device-SDCard then u can view. Ur misguiding people 2 think they hv 2 buy ur cloud to see it n seems shady. Mark em with Cloud or sd symbols on the Recent Events time line so u know where its saved otherwise stop hiding it.
