Anyone else having issues with the Monitoring tab? The drag-and-drop feature for moving or removing cameras isn’t working properly. Changes don’t stick and the layout keeps reverting after I exit. It doesn’t seem like a one-off issue, this looks like a wider/global problem with syncing or saving camera layouts. Tech support troubleshooting, so far hasn’t been very helpful.

Wyze needs to get on top of their app and hardware.
I replaced my EZVY cameras with these WYZE v4 and CAN-PAM v4 cameras and ended up regretting it so much that I even removed them and threw them in my garage It's junk; if you set the recording option to motion, it only records 12 or 15 seconds. It's absurd, completely illogical.I much prefer EZVYs; they record everything until it finally stops moving.
Two fatal flaws that will keep me from recommending Wyze to a friend. 1. You can't separate the doorbell notification sound from the camera notification sound. That's so annoying. 2. Doorbell as a chime only works after ringing the bell 9 times. These are two major issues that need a fix. Whenever I get a notification I must immediately stop what I'm doing and check the app, because I don't know if someone is ringing the doorbell...
absolutely worthless now that you cannot view recordings to the SD card without a subscription. don't bother with this anymore.
Besides force log in for simple scale connection, the APP also crash every time I click on the scale in the APP, trash and useless.

Lame system. they won't make an NVR to save your recordings locally, so that you paid to simply save recordings perpetually
I decided to do that $0.99 for 2 weeks or whatever it was. did it cancel the subscription days in advance and they went ahead and billed me the 1195 for one month without my authorization? or I don't know how they did it but I did not want it. I canceled it days before and they still charged me and now amount money when I needed that money to pay a bill. so now I have to find a way to get my electric bill paid along with everything else. so thanks a lot wyze and the camera didn't always detect t
I cannot with good or bad conscious recommend this craptastic product, or the hardware to anyone friend or foe. if you buy this your gonna have a bad time.

camera does not always work , nor does it notify me when someone is there- very random times.
I can't review footage offline
Can't disable monitoring notifications when you're home (automations are set for location but don't work), widget just advertises monitoring even if you already pay for the service. Great app for when you're away, INSANELY useless and annoying when you're home...
this company sucks now and so do their products and the app. everything is glitchy and they've hid more and more functions behind a paywall. you can't even record to your devices built-in SD card without a subscription anymore
Cheap Chinese goods. Cheap American software. They add features, then a future software update takes them away and makes that same feature an optional extra that you have to pay for every month. That was the only benefit of these over Ring and others. 2019. Update: This trend has continued. At least the cheap Chinese hardware is consistent. I wish I could go back to the 2019 version of the app. It's not user friendly at all. They set play button on notification to take you to more ads.
constant issues. I can no longer check my SD cards for footage on any cameras, they are only saving events. Continuous footage is now. gone. These cameras are borderline useless now! I was about to buy two more cameras but i'll never buy another Wyze product again, and neither should you
The AI alerts are absolute garbage. I can't believe they charge a subscription for the worst system ever. Extremely disappointed.

Supposedly cam4 can change ssid/wifi networks (3.11+) without going through a new set up, but 3.15 versions still don't have this. It is crazy to expect a person to hop on a ladder, press a button and remove the SD card all while going through a new set up to change your wifi. It's not in the name of security- remember there are no MFA or other security functions, not even a less secure email code, so anyone else can hop on a ladder and take your cameras and go through the set up process.
After the latest update to the cameras, it takes 5 or more attempts and several minutes to get a live view. Before the update the live view showed quickly. Now it's just junk. 6/20/2026 UPDATE: the camera software and app are still junk. Live view still takes several minutes to connect to the camera. If an event is triggered and that's a big IF, by the time a Live View is connected whatever triggered it is gone. The app and Camera firmware are garbage. Still not fixed 6/20/2026.

It's a waste of time and money trying to get this product to function. Push notifications dropped or delivered so late that what ever happened is over.
Wyze charges it's customers for every little detail these cameras have to offer. Example: Now, we can't review snap shots of our cameras without having to subscribe to some new made up payment subscription. Super annoying and inconvenient. I already paid over 150.00USD to purchase my little camera system... I'm not looking to pay to simply use my stuff.

terrible picture. Detection notifications are inaccurate and mostly annoying no matter what settings you put it on. This is not the wyze I remember. UI is terrible and hard to navigate. I do not recommend.

It's very time consuming process when you have to update each settings in the many app menu in the on so many cameras.

what's with the ad in the app when I'm a member why do I have to add with some stupid app add to claim a free gift or discount when I'm already a member and I can't get rid of the goddamn thing
Generally works, but notifications frequently fail or arrive minutes late. For example: today the app has logged 7 events, so far, and I have received a notification for only 2 of them. The camera is convinced that my screen door, shrubs, and shadows are all vehicles.
lately it takes a really long time for the video to load when you click to make it bigger. to the point whatever you're trying to zoom in on has passed and it may or may not have been picked up
here lately I've been having major issues using the app. it's slow and it keeps triggering "Wyze Isn't Responding" error. it pops up every few seconds as I'm actively looking at the cameras. very frustrating. I submitted a claim through the app and haven't heard anything back.

this app and the entire wyze ecosystem is such hot garbage, I'm probably better off without cameras than having cameras that give me a false sense of security because when I need them, they never actually work right. the hardware is fine, but the app has turned into a consistent way to try and get us to sign up for a membership (for things that used to be free btw) trying to see a live feed or past events on my SD card seem like a monumental task, and is almost never done successfully. wild.

The app kicked my phone out from the account I share with another family member of the same household. I re-enter my credentials to enter the app it says that it's suspicious and then I get blocked for 15 minutes.
Newest update is annoying with notifications for shared users. Why do I have notifications turned off in the camera settings, but other accounts still get notifications? I own the camera, I control the camera, why can I not say when my camera sends a notification? It would be less of a problem if automations actually helped the shared account to turn off notifications.
I have new cameras and I get a million pictures of nothing and rarely a picture of something. Out of the multiple pictures I have of package deliveries apparently a ghost must deliver them. No UPS or Amazon person to be found.
