Annoying, complicated, and limited payment partners, so you need to double invoice them if you want to use them. Not cheap. I kept it just for my accountant. Most of the work is done in the Bank management tools and the payment processor.
Can't Purchase Orders in the app? what's the good of having only a small proportion of your accounting software features available on the app? Where's project allocation in bills? Can't believe we pay for this. Edit: "Sales" screen only has sections "invoices" and "quotes." "Projects" being a paid-for add-on we expect these features to be present and to work. Spend some of our high £subs on dev! Allocating POs to projects... another feature missing across the board. Cannot send POs from the app

The entire logging in process is so painful. I have to jump between apps to get to my authenticator and by the time I come back to put it in, it's sent me back to the sign in page. I only have 30 seconds per code. Then it'll lock you out mid-use because you moved to another app to get something. Frustrating.
I spent 30 mins entering a bill with all the stuff and this garbage decided to lock itself and delete all my progress. Absolute garbage.

The multi verification system always fails making login a nightmare. Social media is all automated and gives expired links. Cant even delete your account when you're done with them! DO NOT USE THEM! Anything that says they are the best is obviously bought

I have been waiting to invoice for a week now with this app not being able to connect to its server. very literally stopping me from getting paid
Can't use away from home. multiple separate verifications now required on two different devices, one being the laptop.
Absolute Junk. Suddenly Stopped working. Forget customer support, waste of time. I can no longer view either of my part time employers just a white screen. So completely useless.
very poor layout. can't see an overview of your invoice as your making it. can't see the invoice preview until you've sent it. crashes alot

what an absolute joke of an account keeping software. everyone says it's great .. it's not.
piece of junk app!!! once you put the mca on the app, you'll never be able to get back on the app ever again. stole my money because now I can't cancel of course. reporting to better business bureau. wish I could give a negative review
shockingly bad
(The latest update will not even let me upload documents as the button is under my navigation bar.) every update makes it pretty and less usable. The mobile app is extremely stripped back and lacks basic functionality, forcing you to use a computer for almost everything. To make matters worse, the automated bill entry doesn't itemize uploads, leaving you to do the manual work anyway. When I reached out for help, the support team was not helpful. Not the "time-saver" it claims to be.

bank feed either never updates or is days behind
logs me out the app after setting up, then tells me i need xero verify, then says i need to log into browser. seems a faff
had to call the police as scammers, tried getting our money out of the app for well over a week. customer services of stripe and xero blaming each other, and getting absolutely nowhere forced to call the polices Internet fraud quad to see if they were aware of these fraudsters....a void this app like the plague
Awful. If you have any sort of history or any sort of non standard setup, this is not for you. Horrifyingly complicated. It feels like the program is looking over your shoulder rather than trying to make your life easier.

create an account. send an invoice. then download our second authenticator app to verify its you by scanning the qr code ON THE SCREEN THAT IM CURRENTLY USING... trash
They will still charge an additional month if you try to cancel. Plus, they did not honor the trial discount I should have been offered and charged full price from the start. They're not worth it and will ghost you if you have complaints.
xero is by far the worst system I have ever delt with, not only have they made what should be a fluid experience for business accounting an about crab salad, you actually have to master a degree in rocket science... the worst bit is no number you can call for direct support... no, you need to book an online ticket a month in advance to have an "expert" contact you.. what a joke. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE.. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR SANITY.. one star is being over top generous
Pain to use. Especially when you change devices..Sends the authentication codes to one devices while trying to open another. Such time waster...
Didn't work on set up. Too many bugs, QuickBooks was a lot easier.

Utterly ridiculous. As a new business you are trying to build customer confidence and having to change the invoice and quotation process is embarrassing.

In the Beginning as a small buisness with two employees Xero was Quite affordable not so much any more and I will be looking for a cheaper alternative ... Hi Xero that's the sort of response from you I thought I would get Pricing is obviously not that important to you as it is in our small buisness or our monthly subscription would still be a month what we signed up for nothing changed our end ...And I don't need an accountant to tell me Xero is now too expensive for what we need . cheers
bank feed is slow to update, and with the app there is no option to refresh bank feed... I have to log onto my laptop to refresh the bank feed, I would love to have that option in the mobile app.
Really hard work. Nothing is clear, nothing is explained to you when you get the app. Even adding a receipt as an expense takes ages, it's a nightmare when you have loads to do in one day. Also, the 6 month free trial period I was given with my business credit card doesn't work and they've charged me (ironically, have to spend ages in the app figuring out how to reconcile these transactions given how difficult the app is to use)
Pretty basic functionality and years behind expense capture solutions like Concur. No OCR. No able to set defaults for receipt data entry. Cant see attachments on the phone app when looking at bank transactions. Phone receipt images fail to save on the transaction for last 6 weeks when viewed via the Web app in the web software and its taking forever to fix this problem (non compliant with ato record keeping). Xero doesnt tell you of this significant bug. You have to ask.
ive been using xero for years and years, but I do find it a bit of a slap in the face when I pay around $70 a month and now you are offering ridiculous prices for new customers. how about looking after your regular customers too. im thinking of going back to MYOB because of this. so disappointed.
Not user friendly. Constant problems, very frustrating. Was told I could do it all on my smaet phone. But can't!
Wasn't able to find the balance sheet and other reports. These also don't work on the mobile website.
