1. Do not buy XIAOMI camera devices. They charge expensive monthly fees for cloud and software is set up that microsd card does mistakes almost always and all cameras at same time start to make problems with memory card that you must pay monthly fee if you want to see record material. 2. No matter if you already set up English language, clouds (messages) popping out on Chinese language, so one more reason to stay away from XIAOMI cameras. 3. Beside that they are not cheap on market.

My account was deducted 5 times in 1 hour. I had to unsubscribe just for the debits to stop. I have contacted Xiaomi support and still no response 🤬

i bought a xiaomi air purrifer 4 pro and i can't connect to the app. the qr code doesnt work. i installed the app but i cant create an account because it cant support my email adress which is very strange. i tried create the account through the google account but i receive an error. the suport help center doesnt have a section for the errors that i encountered. can anyone help me or should i return the product?
Moving a feature that's worked well for almost a decade into monthly cloud service subscription is such an amazingly user-hostile thing to do. I'm talking about the home camera's movement detection feature. It's always worked well without the need for AI or cloud. This alone will ensure that I won't buy anything from Xiaomi in the future, because essential features can suddenly be disabled like that. But I guess the strategy works well enough since this app is a top-grossing smart home app.

impossible to combine devices for China and Singapore in one app ((( it makes the whole idea of smart home unusable. No notifications come from the app, it is not even visible in android notifications setting. Terrible
temp and humidity sensor 2 will not connect in traditional mode, which is a problem as I can not check for fw updates unless the sensor is connected. suggested fixes don't work.
