after the rebranding with this new bigfoot, I hate that I have a bunch o fnew animations that I can't skip, I want to quickly track a few things and the first time of each day I get to waste 3 seconds of my life looking at these childish animations of this guy rolling over or skiing or some other stuff. Allow the users to skip them if they tap the screen or even allow them to be skipped in the settings all togehter

AI Cal tracker? i expected great things.. but instantly disappointed. So it starts with alot of questions and fortunately for me i can see the quality of an App right away when the question goes to daily diet. i have a food allergy and while it asks wether or not I am vegetarian / vegan it doesn't ask for any allergies. In my case AI will not be able to track cal properly because i do not eat gluten. 2nd: App does not consider Keto. So nice set of questions, the important ones are missing.

Я навіть не побачив інтерфейс застосунку, а мене вже змушують по декілька разів крутити якусь рулетку для знижки, немов це якесь казино! Жахливий досвід користувача!

what kind of money mongering app is this? looks like it only wants you to purchase the subscription someone accidentaly purchased it on my behalf and I tried to cancel it but the sub is active for 1 year still at the pro window the app is crying for letting pro go! man i am already sub for a year rn can you focus on that first? also this app is very new rn many ui ux things need to be thought of... when you select the + icon to add food the icon should get updated to a digit counter but nothing
I canceled my pro subscription because the app has become so bad. Even as a paying customer they added so many unskippable animations and AI "tips" (read: guilt machine) that logging a 3 ingredients meal required 25 taps of which 20 are about skipping things. The core of the app (diary) would be solid if they didn't mess with it and ruin it with stuff that their paying customers cannot disable. in the end I uninstalled Yazio all together after something like 6 years using it.

impossible to not click the ads, the free version is almost unusable. you wait for 5 minutes for unnskipable ads and they dissappear only when you click them. so much irrelevant pop ups that you need a lot of extra time to use the actual features of the app. the free version is not an option practically

tried for hours to sync with health connect and Google healt. only gives up data every few random days. then tried to pull out my data in a file to manually insert it on my Google health. Guess what? Also not possible. it is incredible that only yazio (and who knows which other companies) is allowed to handle MY DATA. Me? not at all. (invested hours on forums and there's no way of doing it) what a primitive app. also the way of copy pasting recipes, selecting items is also quite stiff and arcaic

deleted the app before even properly trying it. the amount of welcoming questions made me close the app and wipe it out from my phone

for those wondering if it is free, it's not. I thought so too, they missled me. I installed and did the 15+ min questionnaire only for me to get a message at last saying buy it or get lost.

I had yazio for years and it was great until they introduced that AI scan feature that is trash and changed some other things...also now is way to expensive, I had initaly an anual subscription with about 8 Euro lost it because had some trouble with Google pay acount now it's 30e, that's 4 times more expensive...yah sorry but you got bad at business and really gready
Nachalne reklamy przy prawie każdym użyciu jakiejkolwiek funkcji, dziwne menu, brak zdjęć przy produktach, ciągle namawianie na płatny plan.

Actually it's not possible to use it without subscription, because every minute there is an offer to go to subscription. Sorry! It's completely unusable.
not accurate at all. you can write the exact same prompt and it gives 2 different calculations. the image scanner is inaccurate as well
the camera is a rubbish not accurate for photot taking if you are taking meals. most of the description is wrong so have to end up key in individually chyrstum and black tea is a world of difference and why is the photo taken in potriot ins strad of horizontal make you order if it is worth to be in the pro version ...
The free version now has premium and 3rd party ads every single time you log a meal (or add to it later). I used to like this app, but now I do not recommend it for free use at all anymore.

Seriously, this app doesn't write data to Health Connect? It only reads data so you can't see it in Google Health app. Well I just wasted money on this app. This was not made clear, I'd like my money back. What a rip off

Paid only. you go through 10 minutes of interview and data being stolen and only then do you hit a pay wall.
Update: it's been more than a year and the country selection bug is still present - although (much) less often than it used to be. Also unfortunately the full screen banners that add no valuable info after you log a meal for the first time in a day are still present. It's literally a 5min code change to add a setting where you can turn off those "motivating" info screens... Also the view for logged body weight is limit to 2 years. Why not show all entries?
I give one star to have the attention of the team, but one reason I bought pro is to have access to my weight history, and since few months you can't see your weight trend etc???? Why that ? It’s stupid
too many steps to get started
Overly invasive ads & too much push to buy premium plan. Every single time I logged a food I was pushed into a video ad followed by a Yazio ad to buy premium. It's straight up bullying and made logging impossible. Their system had so much potential but I believe premium tiers of games should just lock features behind payment, rather than forcing free users into ads nonstop.
If already know how many calories in the food I won't need the app it takes like an hour to get to the app becouse it asks you everything and its just an paywalled excel so you can type I ate this much at that point just use a notepad
after 3 days suddenly you get an ad consent dialog. From that point onward every entry becomes incredibly frustrating: - you get 1 or 2 full screen ads which are very intrusive (i.e. you need to open the Play Store page of advertised app to skip it) - you get a prompt to subscribe for full year - you get promot to get meal tips THIS HAPPENS AFTER EVERY MEAL ENTRY, and as a result a simple 10 second entry takes minutes....
If you don't pay them a lot of money than you will be forced to watch 2 ads after each click. Also will not abble to add mannually your number of steps.
The ad spam is unbelievable. Every entry you make you have to sit trough 2 video ads and then 4 tabs of Yazio ads promoting their premium plan. Its impossible to get a feeling for the app from all the push to pay for features you dont even know if you like.
HORRIBLE! You get bombarded with hundreds of stupid questions, and they try and ram their premium subscription down your throat. AI Ai Ai everywhere it's just terrible.
I paid specifically for the camera feature, and it works very poorly

App is pretty good. Wishes from the community are ignored. No option to deactivate streaks, gamification or pointless short clips of the mascot we are not interested in. Instead of weekend calories just add an option to set a calorie goal for work and rest days.

Ich hatte vor drei Jahren die kostenlose Version heruntergeladen und sie gefiel mir gut, weshalb ich sie erneut heruntergeladen habe. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass Yazio nun viel mehr Werbung hat als vor einigen Jahren. Zudem sind die Werbungen relativ lang, was das Tracken der Lebensmittel mühsam und zeitaufwändig macht. Aus diesem Grund werde ich die App wieder deinstallieren.
Everything you do is wrong and you will get a message and probably a pop-up-window about it. Eating rice? Try eating something less dense in calories. Even though you're still well below your limit for the day.
