Since having this app and buying the premium there have been constant updates that have constantly made the app worse and worse. This last update I can no longer open up recipes that my Husband has sent me and it just takes me straight to this app page instead. So I now have to create my own recipe instead of sharing recipes with my Husband which is utter nonsense. Also the new foods we create with barcodes don't show up for each other either so we both have to create a new food.
You do endless onboarding and after clicking button 'start my journey' you get another onboarding with another hundred of screens

Diese ganze gamification kaka ist einfach nur nervig. Andauernd kommen Animationen die man nicht skippen kann. Das macht es echt unerträglich wenn man nur schnell was eintragen möchte. Außerdem ist das Interface richtig intuitiv geworden. Die App mal mal absolut top, schade schade...

Neither within the app nor in the Google Memberships section is there any option to cancel your subscription to this app. Once you subscribe to the app, canceling is completely impossible. How did Google allow this app to operate?????

With every update it becomes worse. It rebranded as an AI company but their AI adds zero value. The AI powered tips look like a kid trying to tell you how to track your calories. It's just one more thing I need to close or ignore between me and what I actually want to do. update: now I actively have to close the app and restart it every time I want to log something because of unskippable animations and useless stuff. I don't want to deal with this. will cancel my sub because it's not worth it.

Super frustrating app, so many boxes and questions with screens you can't skip. just let me add my food, I don't want to answer a million questions. going back to other apps which link with my watch and don't patronise me or ask me 20 questions. I remember why I uninstalled this junk.

The app would be good if there'd be an option to turn off chests, streaks and the mascot thing. I hate the chest and streak feature and the creepy mascot as well. Please don't be Duolingo. Be a good, functioning calorie tracking app. Simplicity is not bad!!! Could be a premium feature. I'd really appreciate it if something like that would be available...

I was using this app for a long period of time my streak is 200, so i know what im talking about. This app is bad. With every new update, it gets worse straight buns. They're just making the app worse, so please do not buy premium or download this app. Also, it doesn't let me use it. I was trying to log back in, but this app does not let me to do it. Use something else not this ai slop. Edit: it got better but still ai slop

no longer works, constant lags, keeps asking for "better Internet connection". I am a paying member and the problems started like 1 hour ago. also hate the new mascot and ai slop tips. they demotivate me. I really want an off toggle for that. horrible design because all it does is trigger eating disorders. edit support is just more AI and my concerns abt eating disorders bc of the 'tips' is ignored. app is still unusable. I was a paying member for over 1 year. Will cancel 😞
I paid for a yearly subscription before they let me in, and then I couldn't get in and use the app. Looks like I got scammed
sehr schön gestaltet und informativ, leider ist die Navigation teils sehr umständlich. Wieso kann ich Rezepte nicht über die Rezepte Rubrik hinzufügen oder das Hinzufügen einzelner Lebensmittel ohne mehrfach klicken zu müssen. Wasser kann man über das Widget auch nicht hinzufügen, dafür wird man nach jeder Eingabe mehrfach gezwungen irgendwelche Motivationsfenster wegzuklicken.

The design is a mess: half old, half new. It’s a lazy hack job. What’s up with the May 2026 update? Nothing loads, I can’t log data! Why does it need internet 24/7 just to log food? Support is non-existent - nowhere to report bugs. And let us disable that mascot and streak animations! They waste my time. I DON’T WANT TO WATCH THIS, I JUST WANT TO LOG DATA AND GET OUT! Build the app for users, not for show. You did great work before, but right now it’s a total disaster.
Paid the subscription, still some animations take way too long, I need yo quickly track the food and go, the motivational screen animations take way too long, skip meal tips every time, etc. Since today, you can't log foods, search does not work, not even the settings work. It says there is a problems with the connection. Obviously there is a server issue from what I see, but locking you out of everything? Not even allowing some offline tracking or past data??? if this keeps up, why did I pay?
Started using it 2 days ago and so far this app can't go a day without something breaking. The AI camera feature was loading for minutes before I got fed up and just searched up something close to the meal I had and today I can't have dinner because it refuses to load my data. Will change my review if this thing can be reliable for a week straight.
Bought the Pro version two days ago, today the app isn’t working all day. There’s no system status page, and there hasn’t been any notification about when it will be fixed.
The app has a pretty good picture feature, but the overall usability falls short of expectations. I paid for the Pro version, yet I can’t use it reliably-about half the time I run into error messages, which seem like server issues. The streak feature is especially frustrating; the constant pop-ups are unnecessary and intrusive. The same goes for the meal tips-they add little value and can’t even be turned off. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this app. You’re better off choosing an alternative.
if I'm paying 84€ for a subscription, I expect being able to track my food all the time. tracking is down and blames the outage on me

Avoid. I feel like an idiot for paying for an app that does its absolute best to try turn me away from using. First of all, it only offered me deals for membership AFTER I had already paid for a year. Secondly, it randomly started saying "Network connection error" and it wouldn't let me log foods. Then it logged me out and I cant log back in because its acting like I don't have Internet signal when I have both WiFi and data working fine, and says my email on the account doesn't exist.
