Yelp let's people give false reviews. Tried notifying them about ,told them that I can prove that person was never at my shop nor did I service that person or any of the other of my stylists. Then a real person decided to give a good review and Yelp let me know that they weren't going to share that review. Yelp stated that it wasn't a helpful review. If you ask me Yelp is not good for your business!! Mind the fact that I keep getting telemarket calls trying to up date my business for a fee!

rip off don't use yelp they charge way to much and take money from your bank account when they aren't advertising
Very disappointed. I have customers that leave me 5 star Reviews, but yet somebody removes it and says they are fake reviews it makes no sense at all. this app sucks they need to get rid of AI thats for sure
didn't get any results and customer service was terrible
overcharge Yelp charge me $601 over the disgust price I called Yelp customer service requested a supervisor still have yet to get a call from a Yelp supervisor it's been 2 weeks they told me 3 to 10 business days I wouldn't recommend advertising through Yelp if you don't want to get ripped off and overcharged

I've gotten many reviews on yelp, from real customers, and yelp doesn't post them. It is complete bs. Its just a sche to get people to pay for the ads. As if it is not hard enough to do business in this country, a social platform is now cancellingout customers reviews
horrible company to work with paid ads do not yield leads customer service is horrible and the flagging reviews process is a joke I would actually pay monthly not to be on there site at all but unfortunately they say they do not need my permission to post my business

it's just really a money suck. they want you to pay for this and that. they will not show your reviews unless they are verified people not yelp customers. sit on hold for hour trying to turn off my billing. very unhelpful customer support
Yelp Crooks. As soon as you pay for it, you get screwed. You have to pay per click. There are a bunch of telemarketers and spam people who click on it to run your bill up. There's no way to track it but Yelp guarantees it's not what happening. But I started getting a bunch of calls from other people trying to get me to join theirs instead of Yelp after I did the Yelp ads. If Yelp has no way of telling it's not spam because of the services then how does Yelp know that. Do not get it.
the app is marginal but usable. The outcome is totally controlled and in no way an honest representation of businesses. Edit: You made yourself look better at the expense of the public by siding with money. I tried to warn the business and the public the website was hacked and actively planting malware and selling information. I'm sure the business didn't even know. The review was sent back. There excuse was they didn't feel I was a customer of the business. Purely subjective lacking any logic.
Yelp keeps filtering and removing real customer reviews, which is extremely frustrating. Small businesses work hard to earn these reviews, only to see them disappear without a clear explanation. Requiring owners to upload personal photos is another policy I don't agree with. Because of these issues, I prefer to invest my time and effort in Google Business Profile instead of Yelp. Yelp is losing credibility with many small business owners because of these practices.
absolutely horrendous experience
Yelp Has Removed multiple 5 star reviews from people who hired my company for no reason. they software only allows negative reviews to stay because they don't seem suspicious which is ridículos. Called them they say they can't control that.
it was all good at first. two months of consistent leads making my business successful. then, BAM! For whatever reason, they decided I owed over $1500. There are other options. Use them.
I hate Yelp business... been in business 4 yrs and finally got 3 reviews. two 5 stars and one 2 star yelp hid one of the 5 star reviews. also the spam calls constantly trying to advertise their business ads. will not stop. I regret ever opening an account.
I do not recommend this app because its a waste of time and effort. I have written honest reviews of businesses to avoid using as it causes damage to your home, is unlicensed, hires homeless individuals off the street, engages in theft & other business crimes which is critical information the public needs to know about and YELP continually emails me saying it will not publish. Then it requests a different review from me of the same business. AVOID USING.
they will not stop spam calling me,make sure you NEVER get this app it's full of people that wants to make you pay for a subscription , if they call is an AI voice making it seem like it was a real person hang up
for the past 2 and a half months I've tried more than 20 documented times to reach out to Yelp about unauthorized charges for a ads package that mysteriously became activated on my account just 2 days after calling and complaining to some sarcastic punk representative about the scam calls the ads are generating they promised a $300 credit I would just have to turn my ads on I did grudgingly a month later they hit my account for $206 for the stupid ads package I filed in small claims today
As a contractor, I have exclusively encountered fraudulent inquiries and received counterfeit financial instruments. Additionally, Yelp charged me after I attempted to cancel my subscription.

Yelp is absolutely the worst business I have ever come across. I made a business account last year and the business closed. I've contacted yelp 5 times over the last 6 months to help me close my account so my phone number and information dont show up anymore. Everytime I get them on the phone and explain what I want done and they realize I didn't call to buy services, they interrupt me, talk over me, and tell me there is nothing they can do. ABSOLUTELY THE RUDEST, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!
do not download or use this app they send fake leads and over bill you if you cancel they will still bill you

this honestly sucks I kept getting snap calls and text saying to "call me" and I had both upgrade plans they offered but yet this guy was offering me another ai thing that I siad no to multiple times and he called me on multiple different numbers each one I blocked and then the charges make no sense it says at max it be 15 dollars if I get somone but one day I looked and I was charged 70$ for no reason this app is just way to sketchy would not recommend at all

i hate how they hide things on the website to try and manipulate you into downloading this worthless app.
Stay alert. This app is a misleading pay per click scam. They set you up with promotional credit and intentionally confuse the wording having separate pricing for ad boosts, logos, and differences as to what the promotional credit applies to. They also fake call, and bot click your ad to oblivion in order to fraudulently increase your ad traffic and blow up your bill. They will also bill you randomly rather than a fixed bill due date. Your bill is basically up to their discretion.
Nothing but fake leads and scammers. expect random charges every two weeks that make no sense and come out of nowhere without prior notice. They also delete all of your good reviews, and the app in general is buggy as can be.

DO NOT PAY TO ADVERTISE WITH YELP! I did paid ads where you supposedly only pay for the leads you get. Lies. I got charged $221.23 and got 0 leads for what my company does! 0 jobs from this app. 0 customers. And in today I've paid them almost $300! It's a complete waste of money. Don't fall for it. They make it sound great but it's all bs. I've been on the phone trying to reach customer support for a refund for 45 minutes now and nobody answers! Horrible customer support!

this app is absolutely terrible. every customer of mine that leaves me a review yelp pretty much says it's not good enough an refuses to post them
this company is a total scam. here is the breakdown. I have used yelp for 3 years and tested it matrix. half the "leads" i recieved based on budget were spam calls where no one spoke and the call ended within 10 seconds. was still charged as a lead. I have called and spoke with yelp several times regarding this and they say there is nothing they can do while continuously asking me to pay even more. use this app in small does and dont spend more then $750 per month at best.

This app is terrible. I could turn a blind eye to the fact that it tricks you into paying and gives you the appearance of false popularity. But when a client doesn't pay, the app doesn't want to help, only ignoring Yelp. I wish I hadn't lost the money I paid here.
I think we new business owners should file a class action for unfair business practices. Contact California Attorney General with complaints. I had a business on Yelp back in 2010-2013, and I had zero problems. Today, they won't show the 4 reviews on my new business. I'm not able to adspend at this time. I have enough bs with META using bots to send messages and use my adspend $. If I get anywhere with Bonta, I will revise here. Don't waste your money on YELP
Yelp is the worst app experience I’ve ever had. The platform feels intentionally manipulative, using 'dark patterns' to hide service cancellation options. I was charged for services I thought were disabled, only to find them active days later. To make matters worse, the customer support is abysmal; after waiting 30 minutes to speak with a representative, even the staff seemed poorly trained and unhelpful. I feel scammed and would not recommend this to any business.
