For the love of God, fix your app. I am unable to load the top up page for months now. And don't get me started on recent transactions pace, which shows me the most latest one from 2023. While the core functionality of having a debit card is good, but my good the user experience around having that card functional for offline use is horrendous.
I want to highlight a serious issue with my YouTrip card experience. I was charged AUD 18 for a Jetstar transaction that I did not make. The last time I travelled was Nov 2025, but this charge appeared in March 2026. Customer service told me that because I had used Jetstar before, this charge is considered valid. This is not about the amount. It is about security. If a company can charge me months later without my authorisation, simply because I used them before, that is a serious concern.
YouTrip app does not work when I have Splashtop Remote Desktop installed on my phone. I need Splashtop to access my PCs and servers for work. Splashtop is a monthly paid service which is far more important than YouTrip. You can research what Spashtop Remote Desktop is. Self explanatory, no need to further contact through email.
The application doesn't allow to login with multiple devices. Wise and Revolut are better as I can conveniently use 2 different phones for payment during the overseas trip
they only let you withdraw $1000 at a time and after 10 withdrawals they charge you a fee. They never say so it's very bad, they trick you. Also, the exchange rate is still better in wise
Youtrip deducted my money when I did not use the card. Multiple transactions fraud. It went into a negative -283.34 even when it deducted to zero, it can still be deducted to negative? Raised a report and the support team is so unhelpful and just replied in templates, repeating itself but nothing is solved. Eventually closed my case when they did not even investigate. Youtrip is a scam. You just can't get your money back when you put credit into it. Beware. It happens after few transactions.

Asked for a replacement card as my previous one was never delivered. However despite giving consent to proceed with the replacement I never received the card after a week and when I contacted support I was told there was no replacement card sent out. Due to time constraint with my overseas trip I wasn't able to get the phyiscal card in time and had to use other means. This is poor service from their customer support for what is otherwise a highly rated app
i can no longer access my account, after topping up money, without doing a video recording of my face!!!! why was a video recording not required before topping up? and how does one contact customer service to get my money back if i DO NOT WISH TO PROVIDE A VIDEO RECORDING of myself? Do i need to make a police report?
good to use when u first sign up, didn't use for awhile and tried to access app again but I was logged out. by then phone number has changed already and I was not able to login to change phone number, no other way to login. always has to login by phone number first.
Lousy App
ive always vouched for this app. asked all my friends to use it. but today i was forced to take a video of my face to get in. i used a fake face to get in to transfer my money out. will no longer be using this app.
unable to stop ad notifications. only 1 option to remove all notifications.
No matter how the documents are photographed, it does not accept, it does not accept the email, it does not go beyond the registration stage, they think we have extra time for these things

got the physical card..tried to register the card on the app but kept getting error when keying in the "confirm your new ATM & Card PIN" what a frustrating and lousy experience
Grossly insecure app. Forces you to 3d scan your face the first time you use it. But after that it's just secured using a pin. To top up money using a saved card, it's as simple as keying in and swiping right. The transection automatically goes through without needing any additional 2FA or confirmation
terrible experience and customer service when their system is down. Respond to queries is extremely slow and they don't seem to realise thst customers are relying on their service to make payments overseas. Appalling. Perhaps you should check your mailbox before replying to comments. I'm certain you have lots of unanswered queries because I'm still waiting for mine from 2 days ago.
App suddenly stopped working. Doesn't matter if it's wifi or 5g or via VPN. the app plain doesn't work. Customer support is unreachable. Inexcusable for a finance app.

Latest update broke the app. Tried uninstalling, reinstalling, setup, but stuck at white loading screen after putting in PIN.
If I could give no star, I would. I raised a suspicious transaction on my youtrip card, I received a generic mail that they will look into it. However after 1 week. no update. when I tried to reach out to the customer service, again they gave a generic email that they will look into it. next moment , I received an email that the case was received and they closed the case. The thing is the case was NOT resolved, no updates, nothing and my card is still suspended!

YouTrip app suddenly displays white screen of death and stops working on Android. Nothing I did, from updating app, clearing cache, re-installation etc works to restore the app. I effectively no longer have access or control of my YouTrip account.
The fact that facial regconition and biometric login is required is ridiculous, no matter how much they claim that it's for security. Wish they rolled this out earlier so that I could have avoided using them.

Just signed up. Email said approved, but the app is unable to load. Have reinstalled the app 3 times and each time it still gets stuck on the loading page after SMS OTP. Terrible user experience, if the onboarding is so buggy, how to trust that the transactions and funds will be handled well?! I wonder how many of the positive reviews are real, or purchased. I don't recommend. Will not be using any further.
just freezes when I am in Johor Bahru.. using a Pixel 9 Pro XL, my wife's works properly and she is using an iphone.. now I'm forced to use my other cards which may cost me transaction fees.. back home in Singapore and it still doesn't work

I loved using Youtrip but since a couple of days ago, it has completely stopped working for me. Each time I log in, I am presented with a white screen and nothing seems to be happening after. Despite my repeated attempts at force-stopping the app, uninstalling and subsequently reinstalling it, the same problem remains. I have reached out to the app developers but have got nothing in reply. Would love to have this fixed as I really love using the app, especially during my travels.
My Youtrip doesn't load after keying the pin. it happened after I upgraded to version 4.53.0.5629. I had reinstalled and granted all permissions. The problem persisted. The app can't even load, how to get help. I wonder if my money is safe in the wallet.
Don't use the travel eSIM in Japan - ChatGPT etc. won't work as YouTrip assigns you a HK IP. They kept blaming my primary SIM when other eSIM providers work or have workarounds like changing AP.
