Tried the others and this is the BEST. Learned my ways and preferences quite fast and overall operations in the app keep improving!!
SO Many ads. Tried the free service and two ads then one song then two ads again.
perfect application to frustrate you into not wanting to listen to music anymore. even worse a year later.

Each update seems to make it worse
Doesn't work half of the time.
Currently, I am unable to search for any songs. I go to the search bar and try to use it, but it always says no results, no matter what I search. The only way for me to search and play a song is if it's already in my library. I have tried all the things I possibly can, restarted my phone, clear app cache, checked for updates and even deleted and reinstalled
6/26/26 EDIT: 1 year later & experiencing more issues with the app. Now the search bar no longer finds artists or songs. 6/10/25 Music will not play until you press the tab for the song multiple times.
The app loads and plays ads well and proper but can't play songs.. something is very wrong with it nowadays

Shows no search results when searched
since the update the app hasn't been working right. searches come up blank even when looking up known artists and songs.
it shows 2 ads after every single song on same topic again and again. If my hands are busy, I'll have to watch those extra long advertisements. It also consumes a lot of data in doing so. Yt music recommendation/discover absolutely suck and it's suggested playlists are nothing but my liked songs. When Playlist put on shuffle, I see pretty much same songs everytime and some songs never ever get played in shuffle.

You do not have a scroll bar to go through music quickly so it takes forever to find a song in the playlist without the search feature. Please fix this. I switched from Spotify to YouTube year. A company this big should have better resources than this...

The offline experience absolutely sucks. Even though having paid for it, the offline mode and downloads suck. You need a connection for almost all of the time to play downloaded songs. Hope u guys fix this
the last update got rid of a few features I liked. the full screen mode for videos and the related music link when listening to a song. why ? why continuously increase the money to paid each month and then lessen the features? Boo! Boooo! I've started a petition and have over 10,000 signatures to bring these features back or else next month there will be a mass exodose and we WILL. DELETE! DELETE! DELETE!
