not working POS
For such an expensive subscription, the fact I cannot watch a show on my phone without terrible stuttering or video quality issues is sooo annoying
I recently tried it again, wasn't impressed, every movie or show, 12-15 min of programming...3 min of commercials, its like the 90's all over again, I'm sorry, the days of this over priced commercial ridden service is done, it doesn't make sense to pay for, you are paying for the 4k option but clearly not benefiting from it because the channels dont provide it plus the channels cut the format to make it fit their time
Worst UI ever. Not easy to find new things to watch, just want you to watch the same 5 things you watch the most. Browsing their content is impossible. Tryin to find something else to watch then just going back to what you were watching and still playing in the background is very difficult as well. For sports, it will just say Washington vs Iowa... it's it men's, weekends womens, basketball, volleyball what is it? The people that made the app don't use it, you can tell. Not user friendly at all.

I dont understand that numerouse channels have the same programs, and repeat hourly , dailey and weekly the same sh!!. what is the reason 4 dvr , rip off 4 the $ . Nothing but constant repeats. Decades of t.v and u show the same sh!!. RIP OFF !!! skips every 3 seconds no matter what I do
Pricing has increased dramatically, without any improvement in performance quality or content. Their lineup is rife with old/repeat offerings endless commercial interruptions, no local professional games (blacked out) and endless demands to identify and verify yourself. Appalling service

their ads have gotten out of control. 6 minute ad breaks are now common place. They think their bringing back cable.

youtube tv is fine for sports as plethora of channels. so why 1 star? God forbid have an issue or need support or request anything. The overseas call center rambles on amd on, never cN answer a question dorectly leaves you with extremely lone wait times withiut checking in. after 45 minutes just hing up. Why do so many USA companies do this as think effective cost cutting when 1 USA support person can do 10x more. Will go to another provider due to support.

Youtube is constantly jumping, and skipping, and loading. It's not working for me, no matter the suggestions it gives, it still screws up on my tv. if it dosent get fixed, im about to go to another streaming service. if youtube tv does not stop screwing up, im going to another service, ok im going to a different service tomorrow!!
after signing in the screen goes blank, all black and doesn't allow me to do anything. If I could rate 0 stars I would, YouTube has been falling off for couple years now, and this would be the cherry on top💔.
Not worth the money.
So I bought YT TV to watch the NHL playoffs. As soon as I did, I go to watch a game and I'm told I also need a subscription to HBO. I shouldn't need to pay over $100 a month to watch hockey. Total racket. I will cancel as soon as I can.

just give a way to log in that doesn't tie the gmail account to your phone like just let me type my information in like any other non-Google app allows because not everybody wants their email address intermingled with their damn phone

Interesting....YoutubeTV adds extra advertising time for commercials during programs. Noted. I'm paying for tv, not your ads. The fact that you didn't respond/reply to my last review tells me you could care less about having me as a customer. I understand you need to raise your rates every now and then when you have to pay more for tv content, but you need to walk the line. If you raise your rates anymore, I may have to look elsewhere or just stop all together. SO DONE.
I've had this app for a few years now. I like to use it when I travel but didn't know it doesn't work everywhere not even the programs in your library and is getting really expensive. I can watch Netflix, HBO and other apps without any problem. To make matters worse, the app keeps stopping and turns the screen black when I watch on my phone. I tried all the suggestions to fix the problem and still keeps pausing and goes black after a few minutes

I can't watch a full screen only a small screen. YouTube fix the screen we shouldn't be having these problems in 2026 especially especially when we almost paying $100 a month
I canceled my subscription in December because it charged me twice ...and its April 2026 and they are still charging me ..twice a month

I recorded a show, which they've now added unskippable ads onto. I'm not paying $80+ a month to have my DVR'd shows force unskippable ads on me. Absolute evil.

As of 4/28/26, YouTube app keeps crashing on my phone. I need to reboot each time I watch videos and I can't access comments section to any video I do watch. After all these years, why is this happening?
Once again the time has disappeared. Is it so difficult to display the time when I hit the down arrow? I think not. Previously when hitting the down arrow thectime would be displayed in the upper right corner. What happened? It's bad enough most channels are only broadcast in 720p which is 1990s quality. I refuse to pay an extra $9.99 for 4K considering you offer little 4K content unlike your competition. Cmon actually do something for us.
