The ads didn't use to be a problem, this is something new. if I'm paying for this I should not have to be looking at ads. If a solution isn't forthcoming soon, I'll be shopping for something new.

The view is still LIVE however what triggered the notification is now gone. I concluded to the removal of all zmodo IPCamera(s) i own & did replace them with Wyze cameras. Decision made due to this app defeating the purpose of owning ZModo IPCameras.

New update only shows ads. you have no access to your cameras. their website is down too.
I use to love the app and now I hate it! It's now flooded with intrusive ads and makes it difficult to check your camera quickly. If they dont take the ads away I will be replacing my cameras with a new brand.

This is not what we signed up for.
if your going to have ads before I can access the feeds then I'm going to shop for a new set of cameras. Having to wait for a game advertisement to finish during a potential emergency is stupid your app used to be cool now it's just garbage. as soon as I find something else I'm out and I'm tossing your cameras out.
so now we not only get intrusive ads, but we get sexualized ads. we used our camera as a pet camera. kids are being shown porn to access their turtle camera.
App is useless in current state, on top of that, it's annoying.

The ads are awful!!! Even with a subscription you're constantly having them everytime you open the app. Then you try & close them- but it then takes you to purchase the ad. You close the app like 20xs & each time you get more ads!! I hate it!!

Awful! Zmodo has continued to get worse through the years. There's far better quality cameras for less money. Now there's advertisements to delay getting to cameras and footage. I'm done! Two more cameras to replace and I'm officially done with Zmodo. I'll never again recommend Zmodo EVER. Other brands of outdoor cameras have FAR MORE features and two way sound for FREE. Plus a memory card feature! Please don't waste your money on Zmodo anything.
Why are you displaying two long ads when launching the app? We are customers for a product, why are you forcing these ads on us? I hate ads. I would expect ads on something that is free, but not something I paid for. I am reconsidering my use of your products, because this feels like greed. ---- 6/22 5:51PM: THESE ADS ARE INTRUSIVE. Unable to get to cameras because of infinite ad videos. This is not safe.

Zmodo has done their research and figured out they can change their terms and conditions after purchase. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS YOU MAY HAVE. Canned responses everywhere. The ads bring them revenue and that's all they see you as. They have proven previous customers are of no value to them. Stop buying zmodo.
I used to like this app. if you don't pay for a subscription, you get annoying amount of advertisement, And it's very hard to look at your cameras with all the advertisement. shopping around for new cameras.
The ads are very annoying. Some you can't get out of without shutting down and starting over. Some have very loud music. We paid for the hardware. This is the only app that I know of that you have to listen to ads in order to use it. To add to this, now they are allowing scam ads like "You have 27 viruses, click on this ...". This is reprehensible! The spam ads are more frequent now. "You have 93 viruses...". New one today, "your browser expires at 11: 59 PM,....". at least try to screen these!
usability experience is horrible now. It won't exit out of some ads. you have to restart app. They totally ruined this product.
The ads that pop up every time I try to check my cameras, delaying my ability to check the feeds is getting EXTREMELY annoying! it's bad enough to have to pay for DVR services and the like, but now we have to sit through ads before we can even check our damn cameras?! Not OK!

the ads are horrendous. I mean, I even pay for cloud service and I still get ads when I first open the app and I can't skip them. Click on the X in the top right corner and it brings me to the annoying ads google play page. If this is how they treat paying customers, I may find another service that's willing to take my money for ad free service.
Can't check your camera without watching an add and going on a scavenger hunt for an X to get out of it. Doesn't matter how well the cameras work if you can't get through the app to check it.

I should not need to watch ads to view my cameras I paid for. No open support for onvif or other open standards, cameras were ok when new but now going to be in the trash soon
Absolutely abhorrent! There are times when you need to be able to access your cameras as soon as the network allows and now you are forced to wait through ads. This amounts to a very serious security issue. Essentially makes the app and the cameras a huge liability, all due to greed. The developers should be ashamed. Risking people's security all because they couldn't make company profitable enough through traditional means. Maybe this isn't the business for you then.
So many ads. When you want to look at your cameras there is 30 seconds of ads. So if you need to view the camera fast it doesn't happen. I will look at other cameras in the future.
do not update this app! otherwise you will be flooded with spam ads. Just download and install archive version and DO NOT UPDATE!!! Looking for new revenue stream? Guess what: slapping ads won't fix it. It's camera issue. Who wants to buy $400 or $800 subscription for 8 broken for years cameras? My night vision is broken for years now and can't get parts. I had been very comfortable with zmodo until they started running ads that force me to exit and return to the app to view my cameras. Prior to these ads I really had no complaints but these ads are now forced upon us even after we get passed the ads and can view the cameras there another ad covering up some cameras TOO MANY UNNECESSARY ADS WHEN I WANT TO BUY SOMETHING OR KNOW SOMETHING I SEEK INFORMATION I DON'T REALLY DESIRE AN AD RUNNING CAMERA COMPANY
All the ads... I am already looking for another camera system to replace Zmodo. Can't bypass some ads. You know what? Raise subscriptions. Charge for an ad free version of the app. You can do better. If I could leave negative feedback, I would.
After the adds were added the Zmodo camera is useless. Don't buy the camera and don't download the app it is a total waste of your money. You get a notification from your camera and they could easily kill you before you can possibly get to see what is going on. Basically they have made them a useless piece of junk!!!! You should be proud of yourself for the ability to destroy what was once a system I recommend to anyone needing security cameras. Never again, they are junk now.
WOW! It is so bad you can't even use the app anymore, that's how many ads they have on it!! You can't even use the app anymore! I advise everyone to stop buying Zmodo cameras. And the person responding to our feedback should be fired! They keep giving us the same generic reply! Absolute garbage now! Now you can't even look at the app without being bombarded with 12 commercials that you can't get out of. This app absolutely sucks now! Thank you for ruining a great app, you idiots!

App used to be great. Have had it for YEARS! Now every time trying to open the app you have to go through a very annoying ads. Super inconvenient when trying to look at a camera fast due to security and safety reasons. Will most likely replace the camera system in the house unfortunately. Wish they could've stayed away for the ads. Always highly recommend, now unfortunately I will not and will be looking elsewhere. If they eliminate the ads once again I would 100% recommend and use them.

I used to love this app now. I hate it. I'm actually shopping online right now to get new cameras just so I can get rid of this. when you log in. now a huge ad covers the entire screen that you cannot ex out of. after restarting the app two or three times I was able to get past the ad only to have more ads covering the buttons and again no way to get past them. I'd rather buy new cameras than deal with this.
at this point it looks like I will be moving on to a different camera service it's a little ridiculous we are spending our money for a subscription and I can't even view my cameras without an ad popping up in a emergency situation I go to look at my camera and I can't access it without having to watch the ad first I'm paying money for subscription for three cameras and there's ads unacceptable
figure out the ad removal, quick. I'm about to destroy these cameras and give my business to ring or some other company that doesn't spam their customers.
