I really thought Zoom would have something like this figured out. This isn't a new problem there are people online talking about it from over a year ago!

On Chromebook in 2026, this is a dog. It gives huge problems for a Chromebook plus. They stopped supporting the old Chromestore all, and I was directed to the Google Play store to in stall in Chrome. Well, that sucks, it will not work. This Chromebook was pretty much a waste of my money. I wanted to do some meetings with it, and it just does not work. I want to attend some church meetings, and the app says something about workplace. App installs, but no place to put in meeting and password. Sad.
camera worked for a while then just stopped working. the other person can here me but not see me this doesn't work for doctor appointments

Where is the virtual backgrounds?
Can't do the blur or set my background screen as advertised.
on a zoom call the whole call dropped out and it was important it keeps saying that I need an update and its fully updated. NOT HAPPY

Absolutely will not connect to Pixelbook Go camera. Tried everything.
Does not work in Chromebook.... fails to launch meetings, and must use the limited-feature browser interface, i.e. no breakouts, no rename, etc.
it doesn't work at all, it doesn't work with chats, meetings, everything, 3 seconds from when you open it, it shows "OOPS something went wrong" with a try again button, and there's nothing wrong with my internet and i have important meetings that i've missed

Window 11 version is a million times better!! It actually remembers all your meeting logins. Hate Zoom on Chromebook!

I don't like the Zoom for Chromebook because you can't blur the background. What is up with that? It should have the same features as the regular Zoom app. Y'all need to fix this because sometimes I like to blur my background.
Cant get computer audio to share without muting the mic - no good for teaching online clases where I need both.

I feel so sad that I got my tablet so I can use zoom for my online teaching but I can't share screen, when I share single window, I can't annotate. it's just so frustrating, please just do something
app not working properly
Unreliable and lot's of glitches. Half the time when joining a meeting, the contact isn't there so I have to find it and type it in. Can't add to my contacts so I can save their Zoom info there. Doesn't work. And where my contacts should be seems to be timing out while "Loading". I've logged out and continues to just go around in circles.
cannot set background, searching for the keyword on the app yields zero results, not even to say it can or cannot be done, app toggles between opening web pages and the app, which is confusing, not confident of using this app on Chromebook, don't even know if this is right version or there is another
