I'm trying to open a new account. I can't get past the step where it asks you to opt into their offers and advertising stuff. If I click on No Thanks, the app closes and if I click on Sure, I'm In it shows a blank grey screen with a progress bar stuck at 7/8. If I close the app and reopen it, it asks me to start all over again. This is the first time I entered my email here. So, it's not a blacklisting issue or anything like that.

you really need to sort your app etc. keeps sending the code to my old phone number and their is NO WAY to change it unless you sign in. BUT I NEED THE CODE so it won't let me in. I can't use the phone because they ask for security questions that you can only get when your signed in!!!! sort it out please

Absouloute diabolical app opened an account and put money in it sent money to family then they reatricted my account and wanted to know who they are and how long ive known them deffinetly dont uae this app
app used to be fine but at some point a year or so ago when they did a rework the app because horrendously laggy and unusable, i have a high end phone so it's just vibecoded bs seemingly
doesn't work, tried multiple weeks apart, get my OTP and then says something went wrong their end. no error code, nothing.

the app seems broken recently. takes forever to start up them constantly spams saying the app is stuck and it needs to be force closed. very annoying

Crashes immediately on Android 14 and 15 tablets. Totally useless. Not a good look for a bank. Edit 2/4/2026... Nigh on 6 months on, despite almost weekly updates it still won't run on a fully up to date Android tablet. I use a lot of banking apps and this is the only one that's so shoddily written it can't work a tablet.
My card and app were suddenly restricted for no reason on Saturday, leaving me unable to buy food for my family. It’s incredibly frustrating that access to your own money can disappear in seconds. Right now it honestly feels like your money isn’t safe with Zopa if it can be locked without warning like this. Account Closed now .
Absolutely disgusting customer service. do not open an account with these idiots. also, they conveniently created only 1 notification channel so that you can't stop marketing messages while still getting transactions notification. That alone tells you how disrespectful they are.
If you're a US citizen don't even bother...only after you enter your personal details THEN they tell you NO US citizens allowed...EVEN if you're a dual US/UK citizen! Why not notify before getting your data....????!
I'm stuck in a loop. Four times I've done the photo and driving license and passport check and then end up back at the start. Five times is too many, I give up

The most recent update has broken the app. It opens then 1 second later closes again. Now unable to access my money.
app experience great actual company is awful they have left me restricted to my account for 3 days now !!! despite me asking for help as I have kids to feed they told me twice id have someone call and email me and so far nothing ! I am fuming once this is sorted ill be closing my account and ill be deleting the app the worst bank so far
terrible bank , will restrict your account, stop you from accessing your money , then ask for staments from other banks and payslips ,, was with them for 3 months and they did this twice ,, absolute joke company , avoid at all costs
I tried sending £500 to my account in Coinbase. Payment failed and Zopa account suspended. The app said someone would be in touch in 24h. No one contacted me, so I called. They said they'd call back. They didn't. I messaged on the app. They said they'd unblock it. They didn't. I messaged again. I had to answer 9 questions like I was being told how to use the internet by my mum. Finally after three days I have access to my own money. Insane. Good interest rate though. That's all I'll use it for
Takes absolute ages for balance to be uploaded. If other apps and companies can do it, it's clearly doable. Do something about it. Shocking!
Don't download they will restrict your account and don't give you your money back
can you let user know when you do maintenance? I always cant make transfer because it always hit your maintenance window!!
Well, I've always been happy with Zopa, but, having just opened a boosted cash ISA, i can't add money to it through my normal linked bank account .... ok, so i go on the chat help thing.... what a frustrating experience 3 days on and off trying to get it sorted, keep changing operators, then get, how can I help today, so you tell them and waste time waiting, then they change operator and you get... "how can I help you today" ARRRRGGGHHH sooo frustrating and to date its STILL not resolved.
