This new interface is unusable- where do you put in the score?! It’s on the wrong hole and keeps asking me to track my shot on the wrong hole! It’s bad! You had gps to your target and score card. That’s all you need. Stop trying to make the thing that already does a job do too many things!!! GPS to green and score, that’s it!!! Is that so hard?!!!

Who uses notifications for promotions without being able to turn them off? Actually GIVING money to the Grint to import my scores so I don’t have to deal with this terrible company anymore.

This app is a complete scam. The distances and gps are never right. They do not answer emails. Absolute trash

I am so sick of these subscription based robberies. I had to change debit cards so I figured I wouldn’t have to cancel my free trial bc my card is no longer active. Tell me how and why I was still charged at the end of my free trial. How did they get my new card info? This is extremely sketchy and if I was ever actually considering a membership, I’m not now. This needs to be fixed asap and automatic subscriptions at the end of free trials should be illegal. You’re literally robbing people who forget to cancel.

Install a trial and they end up charging you for the whole year, and come up with transaction cycle excuses instead of refunding, useless scam app

This is by far the most confusing golf app that I have ever used or attempted to use in any way shape or form.

It always seems to leave some remnant of it running, even though I close the app by swiping up, pretty annoying

Really complicated and busy interface. Keeps popping up things to the point I can barely use it. Deleted.

I’ve been loving this app, but the latest update pushes the in round score control buttons off my small screen (iPhone SE) and makes it unusable

Tried premium with an Apple watch. Consider myself pretty "techy" but some choices with this app kind of boggle my mind:
My first issue is the smart tracking. For whatever reason, it doesn't let you go in and assign clubs from the watch before a swing. So I ended up having to wait until the round ended to go back and edit the gps data for my shots. When you go to edit a pin, it shows the auto assigned club and regardless of what club I select and save, the auto assigned club remains. I found out you have to go to a different screen in smart tracking and edit the clubs there because the app didn't prompt me to edit them in gps / rounded editing. If you discover that a practice shot or something else was mistaken for a swing, then you have to go BACK to the round editing to fix the gps. Why not just have gps/round editing and smart tracking editing together in either mode?
As soon as a realized that fiddling with this app on the watch / phone was going to become a distraction from my 9 hole walks in the morning, I started looking for which club sensor integrates with the app. I was shocked to find that none do. Not garmin, not arcos, not shot scope. Nothing. This is all you can do with the app.
Well that's fine. Surely the training mode will integrate with my R10 so my actual swing speeds and dispersion data can be use for the smart tracking and club recommendations. Nope! No launch monitor integration at all. If you want dispersion data or smash factor or any of that, you have to call your shots manually like a glorified notebook.
"Ok so maybe there are just limitations with the phone and watch apps as far as editing the data. I'll just try logging in on a desktop browser." Nope. There is none. Phone and watch only. Good luck, seniors!
"The last straw for me was this AM when my watch died on my second hole. Great. I'm sure the app will detect it has lost the connection from the watch, switch to manual mode and just use the phone's GPS from hole to hole." Nope. Phone's not recording a thing. "Ok I'll just change it away from smart tracking." Hmm, that option is missing. In Settings? Nope. You can only select the way the round will be tracked when you first start. If your watch dies mid-round, or you want to switch for any reason, you are SOL.
My last issue is with the golf bag and true distance. I carry a half bag, which I figured if the app had me input all my clubs, then surely the menus to select clubs for swings would omit clubs I don't own? Nope. You have to scroll through every kind of club to make the correction when the smart tracking says you drove with a sand wedge. When you go in to edit the data for true distance, you'll likely find little bunts snd things you don't want in the calculations. Meanwhile, some of your best hits aren't in the calculation for whatever reason. Ok cool, I'll just go in and tell it to include my long hits. That worked. Now I'll just select these short ones to exclude. Nope. There is no selection option for exclude for some of the hits. If you don't want that hit counted you have to irreversibly delete the data. Deleted too many? Now the true distance won't work at all. Nice.
The app only earned a 3 for me because the swing analyzer is actually pretty cool. I have a coach, but I still feel that the exercises and examples have helped me a bit.
Overall this app feels like it should be SO MUCH BETTER than it is for $100 per year. It lacks what should be basic features and m options in. 2026, but tries to force a silly social media mode that won't let you delete its auto generated "posts." Honestly, this app was an unintuitive distraction during my rounds and I found that I enjoyed my golfing much better today when my watch died. YMMV.

So far it isn’t worth what I paid. I live in Iceland and both the courses I played were not covered correctly. I have written to them twice without anything but automated reply.

They promote the app to be able to leave your phone in the golf cart. I do that and it loses connect to the Apple Watch app. I’m not 50 yards away. I tested using SwingU midway in the round and I didn’t have the same experience. Love the features but I don’t want to carry my phone around in my pocket getting in and out of the golf cart as I’m afraid I’ll lose it. Unless they fix this issue I’ll move back to SwingU.
