They were so slow they just looked at me and didn’t help they took other people order and I had a pickup waiting there patiently while others where standing there also I didn’t get the right things I wanted and they almost forgot my drink and asked if I had one when it’s clearly a combo meal was a very terrible experience and need more training to do never had a really bad experience until now with this restaurant. Very disappointed….

The app tells me I can’t order because there are no restaurants near me. I put the address in of the actual restaurant and it still told me there are no restaurants near that address. Complete waste of my time. Guess I’ll order from somewhere else that can actually recognize their own address.

Yea it is garbage. They done have their own sign in so you have to use 3rd party like Facebook & google. After entering my location (zip) & just trying to create an order it gets stuck…..uninstalling
Be careful-pricing error
The price for a single patty hamburger is double what it should be on the Apple app. Says it will be $3.69 but when added to the order it doubles to $7.38.
Embarrassing
To have as many restaurants as A&W has and this is the best you can come up with? It may be time for another new CEO.
It wouldn’t even let me create an account just throws an error message that an account can’t be created. When I search by zip code it returns no results for restaurants.
Theres so many things you could do to make this app better but the real problem is it’s really not that far from the ground to begin with and they’re super behind considering how competitive the restaurant industry is.

Why?
I LOVE A&W…but I do not love this app. Its only purpose seems to be to allow orders at participating restaurants. I was hoping for incentives and discounts but there are NONE in this app. I tried using a discount received via email, but the location I went to said they are not a corporate store so they do not participate in promotions. Disappointed and will be deleting the app and unsubscribing from emails.
Only works with WIFI
I do not use WIFI often, so it is frustrating that an app only works when WIFI is available.

Online order doesn’t work and you can’t even look at the menu. No rewards. It’s literally a waste of space and effectively useless.

No benefit
At every other fast food place, you at least get some sort of reward for using the app. A&W gives you a one time 20% discount. May as well just order at the store.
Use of app and incentives to purchase
I believe, correct me if I’m wrong, the purpose of an app is to do mobile phone orders and to receive incentives from the company to purchase more of their product. I don’t see any incentive to use this app possibly to facilitate a pick up order and that’s it there’s no incentives there’s no freebies there’s no special days birthdays, I might have to just delete this app and wait for the order in person. No buy in observed here
List of A&W stores incomplete
I understand that not all A&W locations may not have online ordering, but it would be helpful to at least have them listed among your locations. Also to be able to see the menu without actually having to order anything. As it is, the app is pretty useless.
The worst fast food app.
This is the worst fast food app you can get. No coupon deals no rewards system no clear menu to look at. Subway even has a way to view their food menu and they are the second worst. But first place goes to you.
Can’t see a menu.
Apparently where I live the A&W doesn’t take online orders. I am ok with that. It would be more convenient if they did but it’s not the end of the world. The problem with this app is that it only lets you see the menu if you click on Start an Online Order. Since my store doesn’t take online orders the app says that there are no stores near me.
I just want to look at the menu from home and decide what I want before going across town and picking up some food. Fix the app to show the menu with the only options as calling in or going over to the restaurant.

Poor service for handicapped
Ordered through the app for the Addison, IL - N Rohlwing Rd location. Went through drive thru and told them I was there to pick up. They told me I had to come in. I explained that I was handicapped and was still made to come in. What is the issue here? This should not happen. There is no logical reason.
Can only order a combo
Tried to order a single hamburger & RB float. Couldn’t get the price of just the burger to reflect the amount shown on the app. No matter what we tried it was (2x) for a single patty burger (quantity of 1)

The app has the potential to be good, but it falls behind by simply being a proxy for the A&W website, visibly loading URLs instead of handling links natively in the app. I think the company would also benefit from a points rewards system like other fast food companies have implemented. These have me coming back for repeated purchases, and A&W should try a complete rehaul of their iphone app to push into the future.
App issues
App does not go to location. And doesn’t allow customization of sandwiches. Wouldn’t recommend and until I see it improve, will not go to A&W.

It doesn’t let you find a store close to you even if you put in the right address it still say we are unable to find any stores
