Frequent Access Outages
Unfortunately, ABN digital services have nearly weekly outages of some service. Most recently was total account lock out due to server errors. What a mess.
Flawed app
Not user friendly able to pay credit card when abroad if no access to credit card app. Customer service not very helpful.

For such a big bank (in the Netherlands) its services and app functionality is poor.

Ik wil gewoon bankieren
Bij iedere transactie wordt gevraagd een review achter te laten. Ik gebruik de bank app omdat ik betalingen wil doen en niet omdat ik reviews wil schrijven. Maar na het zoveelste verzoek om midden in een betaling een review achter te laten, bij deze. De app werkt verder prima, maar dit is zo'n grote ergernis dat ik serieus overweeg om over te stappen naar een andere bank.

Waar zijn de Grip functionaliteiten?
De nieuwste update toont prominent al de ABN AMRO producten, zoals hypotheken, wat ik helemaal niet nodig heb. Maar de grip functionaliteiten zitten er nog steeds niet in, wat ik wel nodig heb. Het lijkt erop dat de marketingafdeling geen prioriteit heeft gegeven aan wat klanten daadwerkelijk nodig hebben om meer van hun inhoud in de app te stoppen.

I couldn’t open a bank account via the app
I couldn't open a bank account via the app. After I scanned my passport and took selfie, it shows "something went wrong" error.
I've tried to open an account from different phones and systems in different days and received the same error.

I don’t like Dutch banks
The app is fine, but I hate needing my phone whenever I have to make a payment or transfer on my desktop, and I hate that I can’t use my debit card to purchase things online unless it’s a Dutch website set up with iDeal. I also hate that I am charged .5% to deposit cash into my bank account. I don’t think I like anything about this bank.

Notifications don’t work
In iOS 14 there’s no way to turn on notifications. When I hit “enable “ it takes me to a settings screen for ABNAMRO but there’s no notification option. In notifications there’s no ABNAMRO option.

Can’t create account in app
I’ve tried about 20 times over the last 5 days to create an account through the app (which is a new feature) and I’m given a very generic “There was an error. Please retry later” message after I take my photo. I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app several times with no luck.
What first, pay or update?

I live in the USA and have an account with ABN AMRO but unfortunately in the last months doesn’t go further after typing the password/pin code
Too many things referred to browser
It’s nowhere near as comprehensive as the apps of the US banks I’m using. No way to send emails to any within ABN AMRO, and when I needed to change address information, they refer you to Internet Bankieren, for which I need the physical token (which I haven’t used in years). Not customer friendly, and potentially breaching new GSPR regulations as I cannot easily have my own personal information updated.
Useless. Just crashes 100% of the time
This latest update killed the app. I open it, enter my pin, and it crashes. EVERY SINGLE TIME. This is now useless to me. Please fix it! 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Terrible interface
Tried to sign into the app but it would not take my log in. Now it refuses to go forward or back and sign up. I closed the app but it goes back to the same screen. Very frustrating. A bank this size should have developed an easy to use interface app. Had to delete the app to start all over.
Bug infested
Illogical set-up for transfers between accounts, task list that keeps showing pending tasks when there are none and no one from the bank can solve it, and incessant reminders to rate this app. There, happy now Abn-Amro? Next time I tell you what I really think.

Op de pc kan ik alles goed zien en op de app krijg ik geen eens toegang want dan staat er: met het ingevulde pas- en rekeningnummer heeft u geen toegang tot internetbankieren... heeeeeelll vervelend
New update broke the ATM finder
With the most recent update, the ATM finder is now broken and no ATMs show up when searched for. That was like 50% of my use for this app. Must be fixed to be considered functional again.

No notifications and weak user experience
1. You can’t set a notification for when a direct debit is announced or for when your balance changes every online banking have this feature.
2. It is hard to find a transaction as you have to go through many steps to just do a simple filter on transactions.

No support for face ID on iPhone X
Can this please be added. I used to be able to use Touch ID why not Face ID? All my other banking apps are supporting it
