Fallas en retraso de audio
Antes me gustaba, podía hacer mis proyectos musicales sin perder el tiempo, pero la app desmejoró, tiene mucho retraso en la latencia así yo esté usando audífonos con cable, cabe aclarar que pago por los beneficios, lo más frustrante es perder el tiempo tratando de sacar el proyecto musical y después de varias horas donde la app sigue con el mismo problema, solo queda borrar. i revived an old acapella account i made nearly 10 years ago. i was excited seeing all my old vids i made, felt nostalgic. at one point i meant to log out of that account but accidentally clicked ‘delete account’. the thing is this app has not been updated, it is the same layout ever since i started using it, with just one click, ur account is deleted. theres no confirmation to make sure if you want to delete the account you know like how other apps work, but no just one click and its deleted permanently. emailed the company if they could revive it, it is impossible they said.
Can’t Login
I have been trying for weeks to login to my account. After entering my email and password I receive the following response: Error Service currently unavailable. I’m considering switching to moog
Music has disappeared and can’t sign in app!!
I have been knocked off of this app for months now , even though I paid yearly once again, as I have in the past. I have talked with the company reps and I was advised at one point to delete the app and reinstall. Then I was advised by a different tech rep NOt to delete the app because the music I had previously recorded using the app might not re-appear! Truly angry right now!
Used to love it
The app was great for years but now it shuts off when I try to use it to record. Can this be fixed?
Unable to collaborate
I’ve been having all kinds of trouble trying to collaborate with other registered subscription paid users. I have tried sending via Facebook messenger via text via email, a collaboration and users on the other end cannot open it. I’ve had this problem with multiple projects over the last few months, I’ve contacted picked play host a couple of times no resolution of the issue.
Terrible and laggy
It almost feels intentional at this point like because of Bluetooth there’s latency which I get but when I try to mute the video it’s so laggy the buttons don’t even respond 10 seconds after the click and half the time it doesn’t register like is this app designed to piss people off or something?
Lost interest
App wont stay open have deleted and reinstalled several times last update was one year ago?? Ive never had an issue until now...😒
Latency
I’ve always been a big fan of this app, but I just re-downloaded and paid to record a video, and the latency was so bad that I couldn’t make it work. Was not using Bluetooth headphones. Mic was plugged directly into the phone.
More expensive, worse app
This app has gone downhill while also becoming more expensive. You used to be able to adjust the time position of each individual video track, and without that feature, this app is almost unusable with an iOS device due to Bluetooth latency. Being able to adjust the time position of each video would fix this. Also, the company has moved from a one time fee to the cliche greedy subscription model, while going down in quality and functionality.

utter crap
The Equalizer and Processor options are now stuck behind a paywall. Not to mention my videos never line up even though I’m playing in time with the other recordings. Wouldn’t be surprising if you have to pay to get clean videos. Now I can’t even log back in without an error message

Ive used this app for years, but sadly the newest update has taken the accessibility of making a 1 minute video and now hiding it behind a pay barrier. Basically useless now since all they give you is 30 sec. Do better

Why bother?
Hard to use. Unintuitive user interface. Lack of reasonable options. Can’t even adjust the mic volume so it doesn’t distort on initial recording. (This is not the same as adjusting the relative volumes of the tracks once recorded.) The name of the app is acappella, a music app, right? but there is no way to input a backing track without making it a video first. Too much hassle for me. If you want something quick and dirty, this is not it. I can work faster in my studio.
Dead app?
I tried to log back into my account, but every time I try it keeps saying there’s an error. Then I tried to login with another account , but that showed an error as well. What’s going on? Is the app broken? Is the app dead? Can someone from the team at Mixcorp please look at this issue and consider fixing it? Thanks.
Can’t use Bluetooth, aka, can’t use at all
App works fine for me when recording with no headphones, but obviously that is only really realistic for the first recording if layering several different vocals or instruments. When I attempt to connect my Bluetooth headphones while the app is open, the app crashes. If I connect the headphones and THEN open the app and attempt to record, my app freezes for a few moments before giving me the message “Bluetooth may cause audio delays” which I cannot close. Then the app promptly crashes.

Don’t do it if you expect this app to have a aupport team. I shouldn’t have to spend over an hour getting frustrated looking for a way to speak with someone regarding my account. I’ve been paying monthly and apparently not getting any access to premium features. Apple shows my subscription was active (and no pro-rated refunds when cancelling I guess?)

New app, old data deleted
I have had this app for YEARS, had so many recordings on it, years of songs, ideas and memories of people in my life that are now gone and all of a sudden the app has changed and my data deleted. Now they have tried to make it a social media app, they are charging a membership and all my past recordings are gone without notice, I just tapped the app today and I was asked to login with an account which I never had before. I am so heartbroken. The app is worse now, the functions paired down, the cost much higher, all in all money over actual user satisfaction. Will be deleting.

Bad audio?
The audio quality is horrible, every recording comes out sounding quiet with loud static noise overlaying it regardless of what headphones I use. I tried with two different pairs, and without, and the audio feedback still sounded terrible. Maybe it’s just me, but I tried a regular recording on my camera app, and it sounded perfectly fine.
Not worth using anymore
At first, I was okay with the one minute limit on recordings. I could still make something worthwhile, I could still write music for that. But 30 seconds? This is where I delete the app and just find some good video editing software. I’m not paying $7 a month to use this app maybe a couple times per year, if that.
Money hungry developers
Good to know that they put more things behind a pay wall. The free version used to have 1 minute for free and you could use equalizers to balance your audio but they put that behind a paywall too. Please do not get this app.

They have now changed it to where you are only able to record a video up to 30 seconds ! it used to be a whole minute. Now You have to pay 9.99 a month to do so which is crazy to me ! and the yearly subscription is $50 smh. Won’t be using anymore :(

Nice to collaborate and make music with friends from all over the world. Or just make music with yourself and work on your songwriting or practice your instrument and harmonize ect, ect, ect... Con’s It’s stupid overpriced. The community would grow and flourish and bring more people in if this thing was half the cost. I don’t know much about making and maintaining apps, but for them to take as long as they do to fix bugs or to improve the app, it’s hardly worth it for casual musicians and vocalists. They don’t see the potential they have here to expand on possibilities of being an industry standard for this type of app, for musicians and bands, working out music with producers as well as making goofy collaborations with friends. It’s more of a bare minimum effort to syphon a monthly fee out of folks with minimum effort to be a quality product. Another con is there is no type of forum or a more detailed webpage for folks to go to and see how to use this to its full potential. To talk about what kind of interfaces work with this thing. What kind of dongles and adaptors you need if you are going to get serious with nice mics or recording a whole drum set through a mixing board or interface. Also on the main page, they have a monthly “theme” such as Christmas or fall or whatever. They have been leaving the themes up for months. Right now it’s still stuck on the 12 days theme and a while back it was stuck on the summer theme well into winter. It makes it look like the app is dead and they don’t care. They also promote collabs for singers and artists on the app that are years and years old, of folks who have long left the app, rather than looking for current collabs to promote that might inspire people to join and make friends with current users that haven’t left the app ages ago.
Way too expensive
I only wanted to use once. Way too complicated. Seems to require other equipment also, headphones, etc. I don’t own and for one use don’t need. $10 a month is high. Maybe good for professionals with tax write offs.
Can’t get it to sync
It used to stay in sync but for whatever reasons the tracks go out of sync with the click track. I have updated my software, tried it on several different devices (same problem) and contacted their useless customer support.
