After two years data wiped out. No support
I had been using this simple bookkeeping app for several years. Then one day I opened it and all but my first year’s entries were gone. FAQ mentioned only PAID subscription would save data so I subscribed. Now 2 years further and my data is gone. No English support seems available.
Recent update
Taxnote used to be clean, simple, and easy to use for business bookkeeping. They just did an update, making it practically unusable. The search function always fails, I can no longer search for specific expenses or customer orders. This is a mess. I no longer feel confident about this bookkeeping, so I will have to cancel and find a new one.
Horrible
Had this app for year & loved it. Yesterday woke up and it wouldn’t open. I deleted it & restarted it and everything is new. I paid extra to backup my data and now I just get an error message. So now I have to spend my weekend redoing accounting for this whole year!!! Also the new update is terrible!! It won’t let you put a decimal point in the dollar entry so good luck with that. Finding something else!! Waste of money!!

They don’t have the category that often use. And it only allow you to record 15 then want to your money

If you have multiple entries, this app isn’t for you! Oh and you have to pay for it after 15 entries. Wow joke and waste of!‼️‼️‼️‼️

Honestly getting tired of app developers slipping their subscription information at the very bottom of their app description. If I wanted to pay for this service, that SHOULD be free, I’d pay for QuickBooks. Don’t waste your time. If you want to pay for that service, pay for quickbooks. Infinitely better. If you actually want a free service, there are legitimate options. This isn’t one of them.
tell people the free version is good for only 15 records at the begining!

I have no idea how you enter items in or out. This is not easy to you . Installed a month ago and have no desire to figure this program out. After spending a half of day working on this disgusted!

The little problem makes this app 100% useless
It would be so easy to fix.
When you write your expenses you MUST say exactly what those expenses are for, especially if you run a business where you make cash purchases.
This app does not have a section to where you can write notes about your purchases, making it useless for accounting purposes.
