Action Tour Guide: Experiences

I never would have purchased a tour if I had known the photos were AI generated garbage. A human didn’t even double check them as they have signs for “Rustics Camkops” and “Fotteary.” It’s especially egregious when the tour guide is discussing how vibrant the area’s art scene is. Also, the audio cues cut off before the guide finished speaking. Probably also a product of AI use.

We travel a lot and use self guided tours a lot. This one is the worst we’ve used. It stated it had 100+ points of interest but did not and repeated the same intro 40 times in a 25 mile tour. Save your money and use different app.

The app kept jumping forward, jumping backwards, and losing its place. When it worked, it was very informative, and I enjoyed it.

We subscribed to the Washington DC Tour based on the sample. We anticipated comparable information for each stop along the route. If the information had been of similar quality we would’ve given the service an 8 or 9, however, many of the stops had limited information that was not at all like the sample nor compelling. For example, the most information shared regarding the World War II monument was about a small graffiti meme. The service felt like a bait and switch.

You can absolutely find the three major stops on Google maps. Too much talking about mythological stuff and superstitious stuff. Very little actual historical information.
