Too many ads
I used to be a big fan of this game, but now its drowning in ads that are unskippable. I tried giving it the benefit of the doubt and try supporting this game by buying a “no pop-up ads” option but you need to pay apparently 15 dollars a month for that. This game is not and never will be worth 15 dollars a month. unplayable and ironic.

Get ready to have your gameplay interrupted by ads whenever you try to do simple things like accessing a menu. Progress is locked behind time gates and paywalls. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised by that in a game literally about trying to get rich quick.

Was good. Now it’s not.
Used to be you just watch ads for boosts and things that help you, completely voluntary and helpful. Now there’s tons of pop up ads that just make me close the game and not want to play. If you want more revenue, give more incentive. Pop up ads just make people quit the game.

Ruined by micro transaction bloat
The game used to be quite good but now there is ads every time you switch tabs, ads to increase profits, ads to get a free case to open. These ads prevent you from playing the game. I also think the timed events to win cosmetics are tacky.
Forced ads have ruined it
Once a good game, now you can’t even open the managers tab without a 50 second ad playing.
I can’t even play
I started off the game, spent - few bucks for an early boost on Earth, and then got hit with this pop up saying,”Hey Slick! Click here to watch an ad and watch your profits double!” Except there’s nothing it will let me click. I’ve tried waiting it out, closing the game and opening it back up, deleting the game and redownloading it, nothing works to get rid of this pop up. The game is literally unplayable. I’m on an IPhone 16, so there shouldn’t be a support issue. My Playfab ID is D477AC9E9AF7AOC6

Used to be a fun game, like the events. But the ads lately have taken over, every time you click something a ad pops up messing up the game. Can’t even get through a timed boost without them messing it up and have to wait 3 hours before the next.

Keeps getting worse
I come back to this game every so often, but keep finding so many side quests that you can’t even enjoy the core concept of what makes this game addicting. I just took a shot at it again and spent 10 minutes trying to get to the core gameplay mechanics. It keeps forcing me into side quests.
App doesn’t load
Can’t even log into the game. I reached out to support and they take days to respond, asking me what i’ve tried to do to fix THEIR app. Nothing has worked.
This game scammed me.
I just bought the $10 gold package and was not given the gold I paid for. I actually got a little pop up window in the game that said “OH NO!” After I paid. I double checked my App Store to see if I got charged for this gold and I was charged $10 for the gold but it was never given to me. I assume this is a glitch but I would like for the developers to see this and please give me what I paid for.
INSANE AMOUNT OF ADS
Some Chinese conglomerate definitely bought hyper hippo because the amount of ads is astronomical. To get most boosts you have to watch an ad, but on top of that every 5 minutes if you click anywhere on the screen there will be a forced ad, you can’t close the game and retry it will just come again when you click something. The games functions shouldn’t require intervener but they force you to have internet on to play so they can show you ads. Also you have to pay 15 dollars PER MONTH to not see AS MANY ads. Legitimately you’re probably being forced to watch an ad 40-50% of the time you are in this app. Do not install. Waste of time. It didn’t used to be this way.

This game is overloaded with ads to the point it ruins the experience. You sit through commercials that can last 2-3 minutes, and then immediately get pushed into another ad right after finishing one. It feels like an endless loop of ads instead of actual gameplay.
The gameplay itself is fun in short bursts, but it’s constantly interrupted to the point where it’s frustrating and hard to enjoy. The ad frequency and length make progression feel more like waiting through commercials than playing a game.

Too many ADS
Haven’t played the game in like a week and now when I even try to upgrade anything it’s an instant add and an instant app close. Deleting the game
developers of this game suck
came back after quite a while of not playing all my progress erased the game is now riddled with ads and unplayable unless connected to wifi. Major disappointment these guys blow.

I just downloaded and installed the game. I have tried to load it three times but the load screen completely stops unless you opt in to personalized ads.

ETA: I received a response from the developer telling me how to opt out of personalized ads on my phone. I’d like to point out that personalized ads are already turned off on my device, and it doesn’t change the fact that this game literally will not load unless I opt in. That’s not an “opt” anymore.

Pop up Ads
Pop up ads when you open “upgrades” or “angel investors” or anything else like that is absurd. Deleted immediately when that started and will never come back.
Used to be good
Years ago this was a fantastic game and you only had to watch ads occasionally now you’re forced to watch ads just to look at upgrades. Im sure the other games are the same these days.

Unplayable due to ads
Played this game for so long and I’ve officially gotten to the point of deleting the game due to the incessant ads. I could almost deal with it if it wasn’t the 5 different ways to get out of the ads with the x in a different corner every time forcing you to open the App Store. Truly was a great game and sad to see how far it’s gone.
New update 👎
I was originally a big fan of this game but now with the new update you HAVE to watch an ad to enter events. The ads were already a pain in the behind but this was the final nail in the coffin. Deleted and to never be downloaded again.
Plot twist: the simulation is the developers getting rich quicker.

Forcing ads on players with no in game benefit is the stupidest thing I have ever seen. I played the game for over two weeks only used ads when they had some form of benefit like enhancing speed or doubling profits, but now ads are popping up when I go to the upgrade screen. This is greedy and Will resulting me uninstalling the app.
Glitched and blocked first day
After playing for a bit, the game had an in game tutorial comment telling me to click something. The issue is that there was no where to click to get out of this pop up. I’m trying to play with my kids and the screen is frozen. Connect with me for screenshots.

Broken Game
I’ve played this game on and off for years across different devices and always found it an enjoyable way to pass time. That is, until this download. The button for buying x1, x10, x100, xMax was the literal core function of the game. Now if you want 100 donut shops but have enough money for 800 of them, you’re supposed to spam the button 100 times because your only options are now one at a time or maximum. Will not be coming back.

I was happy with this game and CHOOSING to watch ads. Today I logged in, and every attempt to go into the Upgrade or Managers screen FORCES a long ad on me. Instant uninstall.

Downloaded it 2 months ago and couldn’t play because it would just load forever, after waiting on the loading screen for 10 min and still waiting i just deleted. Re-downloaded it today and still the same

Sad days
This game was amazing when it dropped and I remember playing it for years but sadly they have completely ruined it with ads. Not only are there far too many ads but to charge $14.99 for a 30 day ad pass truly is outrageous. The game was fun and growing up I passed a lot of time growing my capitalist regime but now they’ve succumbed to the worst of capitalism and it’s disheartening to see how the game has fallen. One or two ads is fine but giving an ad simply because I clicked on an upgrade makes me feel like the game no longer wants you to have fun but simply use you as a tool for them to make ad revenue. I hope one day they can return to what they are so that we can return to the game we all loved.

FIX BUSINESS BATTLES
The game is alright, but some missions require you to complete mini-games . That’s fine, but they are a chore, especially the business battles. Businesses battle yield more keys, but they aren’t fair. The computer can build into your deployment zone, you cannot build into theirs. The computer often gets more points to put pieces down in a turn, so by turn 3 they cover the middle and make scoring tedious. On top of that, some games they’ll randomly debuff you by freezing your pieces, making it so you cant flip them. This means you often are locked out of making crucial plays you’d otherwise be able to make, losing the game. It’s awful design, and they need to fix it. Finally, sometimes they have question mark boxes pop up, these boxes can offer points, or be a detonating square that destroys your pieces… that’s fine, except they’ll ALSO has these detonating squares be INVISIBLE in games at random, which is insanely frustrating. It makes the entire experience a dread any time I have to do them, and because the other minigame doesn’t pay as much, you’re heavily incentivized to play business battles when you need to complete a minigame or open vaults.

Decided to come back to the game after quite some time, but the loading just stops at the end of the bar, so the game doesn’t start up… bummer.

I did not play this for over 1600 days. I came back was kind of enjoying it. I bought the no commercials for 30 days. Without all the commercials the game is very enjoyable. I am going dormant again for 2 reasons: TOO many commercials to watch and the weekly challenges I am %100 positive now that I was plying against ONLY ai opponents (I took pics of the 50 opponents and kept track of each event). No fun in that.

I do not have proof that I was playing against ai opponents, but after becoming suspicious, I took screen shots of the leaderboards near the end of 3 separate events. In the names of the players in the events there were ZERO randomly named players. EVERY player had a name with 3 parts. Part one, the adjective, these included Happy, Wise, Strategic, Powerful, Fancy, Dapper, Bright, Dashing, Wealthy and a few others. Part 2, these included BigWig, Investor, CEO, Leader, Capitalist, Boss, Executive, and a few others. Part 3, the either 2 or 3 digit number. Examples: Dashing CEO 237 and Happy Boss 58.
For an entire month I never saw a single player in an event that did not go by this exact formula. Again I state, I do not have proof, but the evidence is VERY suspicious :)
In my opinion, this game is enjoyable, but for me it is not worth $14/month to skip commercials and play against suspect players. Others may find the value worthwhile, I do not.

Good game, political bias
I enjoy the game and have played for some time. I opened the game this morning to a political message from the game (not an ad).
Loading time
It’s a good game but I played for a little while and got off and then went to get back on and I can’t get off the loading screen no matter what I do.
