Game is borked.
Ads cover entire screen with no way to close them out after the 30 second timer runs out, only options given are to go to the store page or download. I’ve had the game for years but haven’t been able to play the game in the last year or so because either the game won’t load or the ads can’t be closed. Don’t get me wrong I have watched many many ads on this game over the years for in game perks, but now the game and the ad system is so broken it basically unplayable. Would give a zero if it was possible. Game was awesome…… 10 years ago.

I played this game when ads about it first came out. No events no endless amount of ads when I wanna simply press something and not all these 1 million different currencies they have now. I came back cus I wanted to grind any game but I can’t even click managers without an Ad a few years back it was sometimes but now it’s every single time I refresh the game. You guys are pathetic all these new games are pathetic ads ads ads ads can’t go a second without wasting my life watching 20 of them.
Great game
I love this game it’s really fun I play for hours but I’ve already almost completed it it’s getting repetitive at this point if you’d add stuff to it it’d be more fun I love having no adds you know what would be really really cool one of the boxes that give you like the 25x things one that’s like 1000x for 30 minutes but it cost like 5000-10000 key

Immediately reminded why I deleted this game
Downloaded this game after a year of not playing and was immediately reminded of why I deleted it in the first place. You can’t go into any of the regular menus without being hit with an ad, cant even click on anything in the game without being bombarded by ANNOYING ad popups. And the devs way of fixing it? Telling you to make purchases in the shop to slow the rate of ad popups. What a gross, disgusting, predatory thing to do. I highly recommend NOT downloading this game, which is a shame because it use to be great but it’s impossible to play now with the severe ad popups.
Forced ads
Have played this game for years and loved it. However, it now has forced ads. Nope. I watched ads when I wanted boosts but forcing them on folks, no way.

I used to play it a lot, but I don’t know when it happened but the ads became more intrusive and asking for $15 a month for no ads on a idle game is crazy, get a streaming service or xbox game pass instead, at least you’ll be getting some value out of that

It’s been five years since I played. I left because of the aggressive ads and “sales” popups.
Now you can’t even get into a basic menu without being hit with an ad, 30s unskippable. It’s faster to reload the game… uninstalled within 10 minutes.

Ad crazy now
They force ads now and they don’t offer a permanent ad removal option. You can only now buy a seasonal pass to remove ads for 30 days for $15. What happened to a single purchase to remove ads? I understand that ads bring revenue to keep the game going but to force an add when I’m selecting a menu option is ridiculous.
After years or playing, devs killed it by adding forced ads.
I’ve played this game for years. Spent a good share of $ on it too. Went to load it back up and now key menus needed to play the game is locked behind forced ads (i.e. Upgrades). What a slap in the face. Never playing it again. Automatic 1-Star

Annoying ads
I downloaded this game almost 10 years ago for the first time. Loved the feeling of accomplishment when maxing out my planets, and that feeling kept me coming back every once in a while, loved the mini game and vaults upgrade. It made me strive for more. The way I played this game was, watch ads when you need the extra push. Now ads are being forced on me. I wanna open the upgrades menu, ad. I want to see my managers, another ad. What’s the point of the gane now? These forced ads are making me turn away from a fun game :(

Forced Ads
I’ve been playing this game off and on for years. I recently came back to see the changes and was forced to watch ads that provide no benefit. Instant uninstall. I’ll watch ads for the little buffs, but when you don’t give me a choice, it’s a 1 star game until it’s fixed. I’d be happy to come back if the ad-wall goes away.

This game is fun and addicting. Very casual to where you dont need a grind to progress. My one caveat is the forced ads. I watch the ads almost every time i can get something from it. However, it forces you to watch ads when you try to play the actual game. Horrible idea. Go back to the drawing board

Bug where he won’t stop telling me to watch an ad to double my earnings, I’ve tried closing the app and reopening. As soon as the app opens it pops up and I cannot click on anything at all, not even to watch the ad. Literally unplayable til that’s fixed
Putting the “Ad” in “AdVenture Capitalist”
When I began playing this game some years ago, it was simple and fun: an idle clicking game that was so addictive that it became a guilty pleasure. Sometimes the game was so addictive, to the point where I would delete the game so I could go outside and touch grass.
I recently reinstalled the game, and instead of the enjoyable experience I once had, I found a free-to-play game that felt like anything but. It has been bogged down by ads that take forever to skip (assuming the skip button appears at all), a hefty fee that only eliminates ads for thirty days instead of permanently, and a deluge of powerups that the game continues enticing you to buy. Not only was this discouraging, it was profoundly frustrating. I understand developers need to make money, but these practices felt slimey and deceptive, and regularly interfered with my enjoyment of the game.
I get that the game is about capitalism, but the pervasiveness of these money-making practices feels exploitative more than anything. Some of these, such as the ability to opt-in to watch an ad to get a power up, are fine, but my one star comes from how rampant and intrusive the other tactics they use are, all to get as much money from you as possible.

Ads are way too long
I stopped playing because the ads are way too long. Some ads repeat 3-5 times before the reward is rewarded. Also, some of the ads hide the “X” to close the ad or make it so small that you have press it 10-15 times. Ridiculous. Way to ruin an otherwise great game.
Forced Ads
Enjoyed planning the game for awhile, however now ads pop up when you go to the upgrades menu. Previously ads were voluntary and for boosts/prizes/etc.

I've never written a review for a game or app on the App Store but I had to here, I used to play this game DAILY for YEARS,I fell away from the game like 4 years ago, redownloaded today to see what's been going on with events and such since they were brand new when I last played, and I was immediately hit with ads the second I opened a menu, thought ok it might just be since I haven't played in a long time but no, every time you open your upgrades panel it plays an ad, this game used to be the pinnacle of you only see ads when you choose to, for time boosts and such, it's why I spent a so much time and energy in the game back then, but now I can't even upgrade my stuff without being forced to see an ad, this game used to be the gold standard of no ads, I was always more then happy to watch an ad to get a boost and support the devs but changing the model to forced ands and LIMITED DAYS OF NO ADS FOR REAL MONEY, is just one of the scummiest things on the App Store, it's what you see from vibe coded garbage, not something that used to be the top, really sad to see the devs go this route could have EOS the game and stayed the gold standard of mobile games but they had to follow the predatory systems that have become all too popular in mobile gaming. The devs have lost a player who's been with their game for over a decade now.

Buggy mess
My button to switch bettween amounts to buy is broken. It only lets me switch between 1x and max no matter how many times i try to fix it. Im in the mid early game so i know its not because im in the tutorial i just wanna enjoy the game but i have to rate it one star for this game breaking bug.

I am all for optional ads that give bonuses, these actually make me want to watch ads from time to time. However, when I want to quickly hop on for like 30 seconds and click Upgrade and am forced to watch an ad that is an instant delete

Horrible mini game
You have to fix business battle, I was going to spend actual money to further my game, but your mini game business battle has ruined my experience. It makes no sense that I always go first. And when I do have a property to overlap my opponent it will not let me do so. So is it just a game that you always when except by luck? Just asking and giving my honest review. Gonna stop playing your game now

Games awful now that it has forced ads, downloaded it to get back into it and clicked the managers tab and instantly was forced into an ad. Closed the game and reopened it and did it again just to be met with the same issue. Forced ads are killing games people love and this is just the latest one to die.
Bad adds
The game is good but then they started giving us adds when switching planets and on top of that the adds are almost insufferable. Super long and repetitive.

I understand ads are the lifeblood of a free game but having them pop up when doing game tasks such as merely opening the upgrades menu makes this feel like just another slop mobile game when it used to feel unique, it also makes people less likely to willingly click on ads in game even when they grant rewards

Yup it all about the “ads” baby…. As many as the dev can stuff down your throat before you cant stand it any more. I just logged in after four days of not playing and before i could make my first click in the game i was forced into a 60 second ad! Super game LOL yeah right! Game DELETED and will not be re downloading i see enough ads everywhere else.. ONE STAR BECAUSE I HAVE TOO
Too many ads
They added forced popup ads that make you play a different game and just brings up the App Store. No way to click out of the ad and every time you restart the app there’s a new ad.
Too expensive for me
First two days were great. Then after that forget about it. Open the game and 2 minute ad. Close and retry, 1 minute ad. $15.00 a month for no ads? Delete.
Game was fun until…
ADS! The game was much more fun and I had accumulated a couple quadrillion after a while, then took a break for a while. I came back, went to my manager tab, and was immediately forced to fed a 90 sec ad. I thought it was a fluke and was then fed another 70 sec ad after upgrading a manager. TONE DOWN THE ADS AND ILL COME BACK.

I redownloaded this game. I am a big fan of the AdVenture games so I come back every so often to check them out and play. I am mind blown that we have pay to win, ads for every buff, the ability to spend money left and right, and I can forgive all of that because it’s all optional. But now I am getting ads for opening the menu to buy upgrades? That’s insane. This will be a 1 star review until that changes. And I won’t be watching ads for buffs since I’m forced to watch one every couple of minutes anyways. Absolutely insane

I’ve played this game off and on for 10 years. I’m done. Too many forced ads. I’ve watched plenty of ads in this game for benefits. Now ads start randomly with no benefit.
Perfect example of ads ruining a fun game
This here is a perfect example of ads ruining a perfectly good game. Before, you could choose to run ads for additional benefits. Totally acceptable especially with the way mobile games are going. Now? They have forced ads. Forced ads and a shameless cash grab of FIFTEEN DOLLARS a month for the ad free option. Honestly, it makes me hope mobile games will become extinct. The greed has gone beyond comprehension. I won’t be redownloading again. I’m done with this game.

My game was glitched asking me to click ad to double profits but wouldn’t let me click nothing terrible I really wanted to play the game but not finna restart my progresss
Fell off
Have been playing this game on and off for years. I watch ads to double profit and get time skips when I can, but the random ads took me right out of it. Such a shame a fun pastime became just another annoying ad spamming disappointment.
