Very poorly made
TLDR: run away and save your money!
I’d like a refund. This should be free to play. Or pay me to play and apologize to me after for creating such a pitiful excuse for a game.
These devs are professionals at wasting everyone’s time. This game doesn’t play by its own rules. It plays by chaos dice in the background. Even if you have a good population, control 80% of a map, infrastructure to gather/use resources, armies to guard your territory, you’ll still lose. “Why?” Well, they can’t have you clear each level on the first attempt. That just couldn’t be possible and wont be allowed. So, the literal hand of the devs comes down from the programming and wipes your presence clean from the map. If this doesn’t make sense and you think I’m just whining, I invite you to waste your time playing a map for 40 minutes. Losing the round because you ran out of resources even though you controlled everything. It will be very clear that the loss happened because they said so. Not for any real reason, like lack of access to anything available in the game. Just cause they’re mad you outsmarted the game design. I’m taking my ball and going home.
I’d rate this as a solid 2/10. They have a good concept and some fairly fun game mechanics if the player was allowed to actually play by the rules that were supposedly established in the tutorial. But the lack of intelligence that went into the follow through is astounding. Fire the one who made this possible. I’m reminded of Manor Lord’s on steam. Looked nice of the surface, but inside it’s a hollow shell. Just another cash grab scheme in nice clothes.

Fun third edition to the series.
The game is fun, but I continue to get popups making me write a review, despite originally writing one for 5 stars. So, 1 star.
Freezes
Can’t even get past the tutorial as the game freezes and then crashes, restarting returns me back to the beginning
