AI Dungeon: RPG & Story Maker

After so many years since my last review, this app has never improved in stability quality, instead it seems to only get worse and worse, now the app is near unplayable due to constant crashes during entering a command, leaving the app and returning and etc. as well input errors and black screens, causing me to constantly close and reopen the app repeatedly, I have hoped they really focused on making the app more stable, no, they didn’t, their too busy making the AI better then actually show they fixed anything, i don’t even trust the update logs anymore because who can I really trust when the app is this unstable.
don’t make me mention the price hike on subscription service here, it’s awful, there is no cheap Membership anymore, they removed the cheaper options a long time ago due to AI being too costly nowadays.
they also false marketing on their app web page as the pictures shown above isn’t even accurate, some of the AI models they shown aren’t premium, are in fact premium, when this app was small and new, there was only griffin and dragon AI models, Dragon was the only one behind a paywall, however there were little to no censorship or anything, in fact, there were no Ads, until the downfall started when they introduced Ads into the app so you can get a few more tokens, they since removed it but I don’t honestly think it’s worth supporting this anymore, we all should go back playing regular video games and not this Slop.

Ai doesn’t even follow Ai instructions and is just terrible

If you play, you have to keep a notebook with you, cuz the AI will forget your character’s name, race, sex and class. You’ll meet and roam with characters, only to have one just disappear from the story; if you ask about where that NPC went off to, the other NPC’s will call your character by that name, acting like you have split personalities. (No worries, cuz that same day, you’ll have a completely different character pop up with the same name.) Your NPC’s will constantly change in both description and class- and so will you - so you have to regularly remind the AI of who/ what/ why each character is. So, forget about this game ever sticking to any story line, cuz that will change almost hourly. - Got it?

worthless ai and a burden to the world

The AI can’t remember the immediate location; ignores user input and constantly fights with the user.
Devs don’t care to make it better.

Ai roleplay things like this are severely bad for you. They cause addiction and a lack of real social connection. This one in particular has FAR to Lenient filters and allows for some pretty weird things to be done. You should not be using products like this.

Please fix it….

I played this game for a long time. A lot of times it was fun. My biggest issue was the ai would speak for me and change my actions. I got tired of constantly pressing the retry button.

It’s fine not amazing at all in fact I just dislike it whenever I’m trying to correct something. It just continues the story without me and I can’t do anything about it and if I do any sort of long action, it just does like maybe one or two thanks nothing else It’s really bad at that but everything else probably fine not amazing.
