I wrote an entrance essay to get in to a certain community program. I wanted to double check my grammar and spelling so I downloaded this app. It completely obliterated the grammar and placement of my words and even put words in from a different language. Do NOT get this app.

I’m working on my college essay and I already ran it through grammarly. I wanted to make sure it was perfect so I downloaded a few more proofreading type apps. This one is horrible.
There wasn’t a single suggestion that was helpful. Sometimes it would say I should change something but there would be no difference from my writing to their suggestion. Like it would highlight a word like “apple” and present the new sentence with the “new” word still spelled “apple”.
The other issue with the suggestions it that it kept suggesting word or tense changes that completely changed the meaning of a sentence. It took the word “inducted” like being inducted into an organization and turned it into “instructed”. You cant be instructed into the NHS inducted is the correct word. All of the suggested changes were like this.
Terrible app and terrible design. Save your time and use grammarly instead.

Incorrect & Untrustworthy
Warning: Every time you open the app, it automatically pastes whatever is on your clipboard into the app! (Luckily I don’t keep sensitive information on my clipboard.)
It gives you no more than 10 free grammar checks. (I wasn’t counting them. The first 3 I tried actually did nothing because the app stopped working (just kept spinning) on my first check (an 8 word test sentence).
NONE of the grammatical changes it suggested were correct. Their suggestions didn’t make sense. In one case it changed the sentence so that it had the opposite meaning of what I wrote.
I would NOT pay for this app. I recommend not even downloading it. Apps that can copy from your clipboard without asking should NOT be trusted! I am deleting it now that I have posted my review.

Doesn’t work.
Connected to internet and it just sits there loading the “free grammar check.” I am just happy I didn’t pay for premium.
not to good
it helps with misspellings or fixing of wording, but does not take in consideration the text around it nor does it helps with any other grammar like commas and periods.

I made a 3-line test of this app with a perfectly constructed sentence with no spelling errors. None of the corrections suggested by this app, of which there were several, needed to be made. In fact, were those suggested corrections to have been incorporated into the sentence, the sentence would have had spelling and grammar errors.
