Messed with my sleep schedule and work.
Didn’t realize they made it to where you need to play an advertisement after 3 snoozes or else it just shuts off the alarm (I hit it about 5 times before waking up). On top of that the ad placement to what I assume are malicious or bad sites that open in the browser is terrible. Wouldn’t recommend, going back to the default alarm included with my phone.

Sketchy Battery Drain
This app functions great but something seems extremely sketchy. Between when I woke up at 6 til noon, the background activity of Alarmy drained my iPhone 14 of 50% of its battery. Online forums speculate the app is selling your device’s bandwidth or using your device for Cyrpto mining. The app insisting it must remain open in the background to function further pushes the sketchiness. I like the app, but I no longer trust the app and will be deleting it.
Awful for hearing aids
This app would be 5 stars except one thing that I’ve emailed them about multiple times. It is awful for hearing aids. Every 3-4 seconds it causes my hearing aid to stop making noise. On the technical side, it’s as if it was either playing something that had no sound, or triggering the mic on my hearing aid to listen. But I can hear the pause it causes every 3-4 seconds. The work around for this is to close the app down, but now just closing an app doesn’t close the app. I have to go into the app settings and set background and notifications off then close the app. So I have to do this whole routine every single night/morning just to use it.

Dynamic Island Bug
App was fine, but now it’s 24/7 taking priority of the Dynamic Island and reducing that functionality for other apps that I use. This is a really frustrating feature and there’s no reason for Alarmy to even use the island.

Selected the option to get notified when subscription trial was almost up as i was testing other apps aswell and was not notified
Live Activities Update Obnoxious
Intrusive UI behavior that is definitely bypassing user intent/ignoring user disabled settings. Phantom Dynamic Island occupation after alarms are dismissed & apps closed even if background app refresh, live updates & notifications are turned off. Good alarm but not worth the nonsense/headache.

sometimes my alarms that i set for the next day never go off and when i wake up they say they were set for tomorrow. i’ve missed school multiple times because of this.
Don’t download
This app prompts you to buy subscriptions right when your alarm is going off, so when you are half asleep you end up accidentally purchasing a subscription that you never intended to buy. It’s basically a whole scam, and I would not recommend downloading this app.
Never using this again
I used this for a long time and it always worked properly, today my alarm rang silently even though the app was open in the background. No noise, no vibrations, and I missed my final for my class.

Battery drainage
Drains insane amount of battery. Please fix this issue I love this app
Lock screen
How do I turn off the lock screen launch? Whenever my finger brushes over the black oval, Alarmy pops up. VERY annoying and inconvenient. And I’ve been a pro member for many years. Thanks!
