Dishonest and deceiving
I apparently had a 30 day trial with this company and one of the features which is sad to say is being able to zoom in on their cameras which two weeks after this free trial started I was unable to do so, or take advantage of the benefits I was supposed to have like if I had had a membership so I forgot all about them and didn’t use it anymore. All of a sudden they charged me $30 for a one year membership. They didn’t even give me a full 30 day trial yeah they felt it was OK for them to charge me a year membership. Apps like this are disgusting how they treat people and how to snake money out of them.. it’s dishonorable and disgusting. They’re allowed to do things like this and I wouldn’t recommend this to anybody.
Umm what are these ads?
Not the amount. The content of them is inappropriately. To say the least. Registering my ad blockers as potential harmful and criminal.

Another app ruined by an update
I’ve been using this app for over a year using my iPad as a video camera to watch a feed on my PC. The newest update on my has is asking for microphone access where it sends me to settings and there’s nothing there that says microphone everything’s marked green turned on so I managed to finally get it working on my phone as a camera and every couple of minutes it stops showing me the live feed unless I’m constantly moving the mouse it says camera inaccessible
Unable to cancel, then charged. BEWARE!
I downloaded the app to use the free trial and see if this would be what I needed. My standard practice is to immediately cancel my subscriptions so I am not charged. I went into my subscriptions in my Apple account and did not see Alfred. It was odd. Then three days later I got an email that my trial had ended and I was charged. I went into my subscriptions and still did not see the subscription or anyway to cancel it that I was still charged. I reached out to Alfred support about canceling and they referred me to Apple and told me the process to go through. I responded that the subscription was not even showing up. It finally showed up five days after the fact and the amount was taken out of my PayPal account. I contacted Apple for a refund but they said it was too late even though there was no way I could have tried to cancel earlier. I found the app difficult to use. Now I'm stuck with a year subscription that I won't use that no one will refund.

iOS 12 NG
Worked for a couple of weeks on iOS 12, then refused to start. Received email today that it is no longer supported
NoT working any more
It worked fine for 4or5 days. And suddenly, the app keep shutting down on my old iPad air, ios12.5. I tried everything, reboot iPad and reinstall the app. Still shut down when I try to open it. Such a disappointing app. Can you please fix it? And I'll rate you a 5 start.
Unreliable
App won’t even open. I rely on this app to watch my new dog while I am at work. Worked great maybe 3 times and now the app will not open on my iPad and I have to leave my new puppy unsupervised because I do not have enough time to find something else.
Not worth the subscription
Constantly goes offline, doesn’t notify of it being offline… not worth the yearly subscription cost.
Horrible
It was ok in the beginning when offered free cam, now they want to charge for everything. Can’t zoom in, view recordings, save more than one recording unless you upgrade. Also very blurry.
Was the best and now stupid updates everything is slow
Was the perfect security app. Instant login and instantly cameras showed live. I contacted Alfred numerous times and they did 2 more updates and still it’s horrible now. Didn’t mind paying for the paid app but now need to find somethin new. Every time I open app it goes to some screen doesn’t even let me see the cameras and now takes forever to load cameras. What’s the point of being so slow when it was so fast before. Go back to the way it was like 5 updates ago

I got a subscription now it. Keep telling me approve permission and when you click nothing comes up I actually feel duped and scammed monthly subscription for the app to not provide what I paid for would not recommend highly inconvenient especially in a time of serious need

Nothing but a paywall
Almost every feature is locked behind a subscription paywall - zooming in, playback, event viewing, etc. There is no reason to lock playback behind a paywall when the data is stored on an SD card we buy. Save yourself some money and buy a camera with an SD card and without a subscription or cloud service, since it’s basically the same thing but a million times better.
Scammy clickbait ads
A product that I’d consider buying if it the non-free version wasn’t subscription based. In addition to the normal, tolerable advertisements there are other“ads” which are more like fraudulent clickbait scams. Kind of grossed out that Apple allows this.
Literally worse than nothing
I can’t see the video feed for more than three seconds without some ad popup pretending to be a system error blocks my screen for up to 90 seconds with only fake close buttons. Also, when viewing the feed from two floors down, I kept getting feedback noises that sounded as if they were coming from the camera- but then I recognized that the feedback was happening when I made noise at the viewer device location. So that mic is active even when the viewer is not activating the speak function. Everything about this app is shady, and I just happily gave my money to another company to buy a camera rather than ever consider upgrading this.
Don’t go down this rabbit hole …
This app is garbage unless you are willing to pay for a premium subscription. Every feature REQUIRES you to pay the subscription fee. Wanna rewind the recording- not for free. Wanna zoom in or out - not for free. Wanna use high quality resolution - not for free. The list of “no” goes on and on.
Someone got greedy (venture capital?) and changed the app, so they could make more money. The free version could make money for its investors, if they better used targeted advertising. Save yourself some headaches and just buy a WiFi camera. Don’t take my word for it though, check out the recent reviews of the free version (spoiler alert, they are lower than a gopher’s basement) and look when the app changes were made. A real WiFi camera has more features at a reduced overall cost.

App is great, customer service is pathetic
While the app and the indoor cams work great. The new indoor outdoor cam crapped out after a couple of months. Try to get customer service to honor their warranty while they try to drag it out. I don’t know if they’re trying to expire the warranty so they don’t have to honor it or what. Customer service is very very poor.
Not Happy
Wanted to watch my pet. The quality was poor and Ike’s finding problems I could not solve. I wanted to try the free version, and Might have up graded if I wasn’t pummeled with ads immediately
Not recording incoming voice from camera
It has been a while there is no voice recording of the remote person
Unable to link iPad to iPhone
I am an experienced engineer, but after long frustrating minutes was not able to remote camera from iPad and view on iPhone
Must pay for premium plan
The free version only shows about one second of recording before a gray screen pops up saying full video only available with premium service.
Garbage
I’ve used this app for years and the paid version for the past two and I just recommended it to a couple people but my paid subscription just ran out and after seeing what’s become of the free version I think not. Now I know why the people I recommended it to were not impressed. My favorite home security, baby monitor pet cam app is android only due to the cost of the App Store. That might just be enough for me to switch to android.

Disconnects often
iPhone to iPad user. The camera will disconnect often and not reconnect. Usually every few minutes. Renders this app useless.
Not right
They absolutely locked down the free version and every single little feature like zooming in and even playback. I used to have the paid version and was planning on buying it again however the cheapness of not allowing me even basic features with the free version has changed my mind.

Full of glitches
If you complain to support they make this app worse for you. Regardless what they say, I feel this app is a security risk. They will spy on you and make your experience using this app worse. Don’t pay for the subscription, you will regret it. I want my money back.
Too many ads & popups
I suspect it’s actually a good app if you pay, but when trying to set up the app and see if it worked for my use case, I received a continuous stream of banner / embedded / pop up ads of low quality that caused my phone to lag.
Surely we can come up with a better solution than requiring signing up for the trial just to see if the app even works at all.

Upside down
I’m waiting for the ability to adjust the rotation settings on my camera. For some reason the front camera on my Pixel tablet only views upside down when on the speaker charger. It doesn’t do that on the back camera which would make it impractical for use.
