What happened! It use to be so easy to use
I have had this app for years. I haven’t used it much and today I was trying to use it and now I am required to have a password and sign up for a program. Very disheartening. I don’t need for you to track me ir send me advertisements. I just need to be able to find places to camp. I will be deleting the app. I don’t want to pay for advertisements being sent to my email or phone.
Avoid like the plague
Information is severely out of date. I tried using this app on a trip from Idaho to Maine. I gave up in South Dakota. Every listing was wrong. Some listings had been out of business for more than six years.
Used to be a great app
We travel 2,000+ miles annually. This app used to be my go-to tool for finding campsites, but recently, something changed. Now, the descriptions are sparse, and on some, the website link goes nowhere or to the wrong state. There is NO way I will pay for this app anymore.
What happened??
When I opened the app everything I needed was right there, campgrounds, truck stops, rest areas, Walmarts, Cracker Barrel’s, now nothing shows up when I open the app. I’ve tried to set filters but still nothing shows up. Very very bad plan to change this app so radically. If it does not improve over the next few weeks you will lose me as a customer.
New format
This new format sucks. Bring the old one back. Would not recommend this new format to anyone

Charged me when I canceled
I received a charge to renew. I canceled this months ago but still was charged. The instructions tell me to go to settings to see my subscription. I did that and there is no subscription listed. Which is why I thought the cancellation went through. If you subscribe be careful about renewals.
Bad business
Purchased lifetime subscription years ago. Apparently it has modified to the lifetime of my device, not me. No way to restore to current devices.

This app is truly worthless and charges you for the ability to get charged more for a campsite. Nuts….

Stay far far away
Once you sign up with this site you will constantly be deluged with upgrade solicitations. Have sent them emails asking them to stop but no luck. I will not be renewing. Only gave them one star because the system will not accept a no star review.

Don’t waste your money
For all the glowing reviews and allusions of it will help you plan your trip, it does little. I created a personalized filter, with stores and gas stations and low bridges, it only would show me overnight parking spots. It didn’t even show rv parks I knew were on the map. AND if you want to plan your route, it ports you over to a map app on your phone. Lots of money for nothing.

Fraudulently charged
Though I downloaded a free version I am now fraudulently charged $49.99 for this application on my visa associated w Apple ID required for this Apple phone. I did not want the app ans nowhere did it disclose the amount but advertised free. This must be reversed now to fix the situation. I will not use this app or ever again anyone can find this simple information on Google maps or other sources.
Zero support regarding a double billing issue
I’ve scoured the web for email, phone and even this support contact several times over past several months without any kind of response. The phone # never answers or takes messages and the two emails I found fall into a big black hole. Good luck if you need any customer service - it does not exist!
Stopped working
Is there an internal issue? I’ve been using this app for years and nothing is working. I uninstalled, reinstalled. No dice. I can’t even log in now. I asked for password reset. I’m not recognized. Please help. I don’t know where else to ask
Won’t work
They seemed to have gone back on their word to allow access for accounts opened before they went to subscription. Can’t even get them to respond to my inquiries.
Useless until you pay subscription
As the title states, this app has almost zero functionality if you aren’t paying their subscription based service. You can roughly see what options to stay an area may have, but that is it. Really no more beneficial than scrolling through the map on your phone sadly. This app has good potential but surely there is a way to generate revenue AND have an app that works for those not able to pay a subscription. At the end of the day this app is marketed at people looking to find a quick, cheap, and easy place to pitch a tent or rough it for a night; so I think charging a subscription to use it sort of pushes away some of that target market. Just my 2 cents though, would love to see this further developed into something more accessible.
Disappointing
You get zero information with this app unless you pay a monthly or yearly membership fee. 👎🏻
Useless scam
Why do they pretend there’s a free version? It’s so crippled it’s unusable without paying. Apple should really crackdown on scams like this.

As a campground owner horrible turn time on getting set up.
As a user of the app they get 5 stars. As a business it has taken over 5 months to get setup.

Scammy Billing Practices
AllStays has an ongoing scam where they send ads to existing customers, that if clicked on, results in double billing. If you reach out to ‘customer service’ you only get snarky responses and Zero help. This is the worst company of this type I’ve ever dealt with. steer clear! There are way better options here in the App Store.

We just finished our 3 weeks cross country Canada trip. This app was literally useless. Never used once. Use google map.
App is a SCAM
This app and all the campsites associated with it are a scam!! They take your membership fee & then you get nothing! WORST APP out there stay away!!!
The Dyrt is much better
There are much better options than this app. My personal favorite is the Dyrt

I downloaded this app because I was under the impression that it was going to help me find places to camp or “stay” while camping in my truck. Well the App did not do that. I tried to search for specific places and nothing came up ever. The user interface is terrible I was using the FREE trial timeframe and was still CHARGED ! ! I would have not minded being charged for the app if it was actually useful but it is not. So be careful people ! They will charge you during “Free Trial” and you will not get a refund. When I reached out to them they said their decision is final and I was not getting a refund……!!

I got the app to show rv campsites. For some reason, it is showing everything but rv campsites.

Waste of Money
Paid subscription for a year but can’t use the app. Absolutely a waste of my money.

This is way too bug-ridden for prime time.
Because these guys are too cheap to pay Apple, I can’t make adjustments to the app as it doesn’t show up in Settings/Apps on iPhone.
I had the free version, it worked well, so I paid for the pro version and had to delete the app and reload multiple times to be able to sign in. This should be seamless I should immediately feel good about paying for something.
The filters work sometimes, but I can’t turn them off .
No matter what I do the app loads with all of the 15 foot overpasses noted on the map.
Once I actually get filters to populate the map, I can’t clear them with a clear button, and none of them show that they are selected on the filters list.
Also, there are maybe five filters that I’m ever gonna use and there’s no way to sort the filters list to pull faves to the top or hide individual line items and that’s pretty annoying. Things I’d expect if I’m paying a subscription fee.

Just use Apple Maps
Thought this app was going to serve as kind of a gps for traveling, not really. Why can you not enter destination, get a route with all options along the way for fuel, food, propane, places to walk dogs, and resources for traveling??? Maybe my app isn’t working properly and needs reinstalled. I get none of it, just using good old fashion Apple Maps for traveling with our RV.

Can’t login on the App
I have a subscription to Allstays Pro, but the App won’t accept my login. So the App is unusable.
Too expensive
Looked promising until I downloaded it. Why does everything have to be locked behind an expensive subscription.
They store your password in plain text
Making an account with this app is a bad idea. When you make an account, they email you your username along with the password you chose. I’m honestly surprised Apple allows an app where they use such insecure methods of storing your password.
