Where Are the Downloaded Books
First, I HATE glass. If I look at my landscape book wrong, it sizes down to one page. The latest update deleted the downloaded books section. I could easily look at that to see my unread books. As my spouse and I share an account, now all of his books show up as unread so what you have done is unworkable for us. Dumb, dumb and dumber.

I have a visual disability, and this book doesn't come in audio format. It would be great to read it out loud, using my device's bulit in software. But kindle won't let me do that, b/c it sucks.
REMOVE THE AI. TURN OFF RECAPS.
TURN OFF THE “READ RECAPS”. IF I WANTED A RECAP I’D READ THE BOOK DETAILS. HAVE TO CLICK OUT OF IT TWICE EVERY TIME I OPEN ANNNNNY BOOK THAT I’VE OPENED BEFORE. STOP PUNISHING ME FOR REREADING BY BEING OBNOXIOUS. (and yes, you CAN turn it off. you turned it on, you can turn it off. stop lying to me that “it isn’t possible”)
GET THE AI BUTTON THE FFFK OUT OF THE APP. IT IS AS POINTLESS AND STUPID AS THE PERSON WHO DECIDED TO PUT IT THERE. DISGUSTING TO SHOVE THE LLMs THAT STOLE FROM AUTHORS INTO AUTHORS’ WORKS.
- THE READING STREAK BELONGS ON THE HOMEPAGE. stop moving it to the bottom. stop hiding it behind “more” > “reading challenges” > “continue your streak”. hot tip: people will use your app more if they can immediately see that they need to read to continue the streak)
- at some point you have to ACTUALLY FIX the “do not mark on goodreads” thing. pretending it’s on purpose isn’t fooling anyone. fix it.
- get rid of the reading challenges. or give me a way to opt out. it’s obnoxious. I could not care less about them. but you keep shoving them in my face and I can’t get away from them and it literally blocks info that I actually care about trying to constantly navigate around them. good for the people who want it I guess but those of us who don’t are tired of being harassed and trying to get around it just to use the app like normal.

suggestions
1. need more color：turquiose 、violet、ivory、brown、light green，light red，light purple and so on to categorize the content 2. need more lines to categorize notes：underlines, wavy lines, bold lines, thin lines etc. 3. cannot distinguish word from a sentence when highlighting, when i read french, spannish version books, i need to learn vocabulary in the sentence, so i need to pick the vocabulary and then i need to pick the sentence where the vocabulary is, but when i highlight the sentence, the word cannot be standout from the sentence, i need the sentence, but i need the word as well. i hope they can be seperate in color, which function just like marginnote 3, but kindle cannot make it yet 4. hope kindle can record the exact time when reading, then have a chart or line to record the whole time: a day , a week, a month, a year, half a year to display the books you read, the detailed time you spent on a day, in a week, a month, a year. so you know exactly when you read most, when is most productive can you add search function in notes so notes can be searched

In theory I love this app but it is sooo glitchy if they can fix the problem it would be the greatest reading app ever which is sad that the app is so much better than the device
Not Good for Multiple Devices
I was unable to download Kindle on my Lenovo laptop and on my phone, I get too many notifications. It is distracting.
Horrible customer service after error logging in
I was unable to log in and called customer service. The person was extremely rude and kept saying that it was my problem and not theirs that I couldn’t log in
Poor download
I bought the Kindle six months ago and it worked fine for three months and then it became a struggle to download new books. I’m finding it’s easier to download to my iPad through Apple Books.

If you use this app on an apple device, the new update SUCKS. You cant read the book synopsis and easy as before, you have 4 additional clicks before you get to the FULL description. Which includes the notification on top of the page if you’ve ever borrowed the book before.

The stack widget for iPad on IOS 26 still doesn’t work after months!! When are you going to fix this??
I’ve been using this app to read for years, it worked great for years. But this last update absolutely ruined this app! The widget for iPad no longer keeps up with your reading progress! It takes you to the end of the last book you finished, not the book you are currently reading! What the heck use is a widget if you have to remember which book you’re reading? Also the lack of ability to buy books in the app has always been ridiculous!

I’d give 5 stars but Amazon should pay authors more and not render any books obsolete so we have to rebuy them.
My second kindle
Since Amazon made my first kindle obsolete no longer able to download anything I was forced to buy a second kindle only to have Amazon do it again making that one obsolete. Thus I down loaded kindle to my iPad so I can finish my book that I was in the midst of when Amazon decided to make the second kindle obsolete guess what I ain’t buying a kindle three
Who needs a book
I am an avid reader and have been using Kindle e-books, almost exclusively for the past 16 years, I cannot imagine going back to reading regular books.

Several days kindle won’t open on iPad
Suddenly started bugging me to rate it
Kindle is doing exactly what it's designed to do. It is super annoying to have to stop in the middle of a sentence when it starts asking for reviews.
Assistive reader bug
I was using the app with assistive reader and had an issue with the voice I was using so I deleted the voice completely in iOS settings and downloaded a new voice. When I went back to the kindle app, it continued using the old voice.
I tried:
Force closing the kindle app and reopening it
Turning the assistive reset setting off and back on again in the kindle app
Restarting iPhone, waiting 30 seconds and turning back on
Deleting the kindle app completely and reinstalling it.
Switching all accessibility options off on iPhone and flipping back on again
None of these steps worked and kindle is still stuck on the old voice. It’s not an IOS issue because the new voice works fine when I have it read something from Notepad etc.
I tried:

Convenient, but annoying marketing tactics make it difficult to just open up and read from the library.
Dark mode stops,working randomly
Switching back to the app after it’s been suspended will sometimes have it revert to light mode, so it’s like getting flashbanged at night
Hate new update
The new update is too hard to navigate. The old layout was much easier
Kindle app getting worse as time goes on
This app used to behave more reliably than it does now. For example, “Sync to the furthest page read” now does nothing when I switch to my iPad to continue reading a book started on my iPhone. And the other day the app dropped a couple of lines from a paragraph on the iPad (switching to a browser confirmed that the book has the missing text).
Ruined
I've been downloading fanfiction files to this app for years. Now all of a sudden, the file size is too big? I went along with things when y'all decided that the file type I was using wasn't good enough, cheers for that, but now I can't even download a pdf over 50mb? Are you serious? Well, Apple's built-in book app isn't great, but at least it isn't pulling This.
