Throw away your remote
This app is so bad. The fast forward/play mechanics are that of the first iteration of Apple Maps. Whoever made this needs to be fired immediately and a mediocre programmer come in to fix all of this garbage that this app has (maybe intentionally) created. Jeff Bezos wouldn’t even use this garbage app.

Spent almost $100 on a show
Like the title says, I bought a show back in September. Now I no longer have access to it and it’s asking me to pay again. Customer service is no help. It’s ridiculous that I spent all this money just to have to buy it again. Absolutely hate this app.
Deteriorating
Good ole Bezos Incorporated keeps ruining prime. First they charge you $160/ year for an account, but add ads that cost extra to remove, then they add this BS AI that completely ruins the app. All the money I dumped into my prime movie collection and I still deleted this app and cancelled prime. Amazon is destructive.

Thanks for canceling Leverage Redemption. I knew the minute y’all boosted it up to Prime it was toast b/c all your stupid execs care about are ratings. Even the actors on the show were nervous & afraid of this happening when y’all elevated it to your Prime platform. Why couldn’t y’all just leave it on FreeVee? So close to being great
We’ll build app but AI search bar is just the worst thing ever. If I hit the search bar button, I want to look up a known show or movie 99% of the time so why does it have to bring up a useless ai tool. Why are we adding vain hoops to jump through.
Also there is no easy way to delete viewing progress which makes rewatching shows near impossible.

I’ve been hacked into by amazon multiple times and in order to watch what i pay for, i need to watch the same 2 minute ad 4 times, and i get set back in my show so i don’t know where i was, AND it makes me watch more ads case i got setback. Also completely freezes your whole device and if you go back 10 seconds, that’s how it tricks you into watching multiple non stop ads. do not download this scam app i will be sending in multiple reports

I’m sure no one asked for ai search so I don’t understand why it’s so in my face. I shouldn’t have to bypass ai search to use the normal search function that actually works. So stupid.

TERRIBLE AUDIO
First one question. Why a multibillionaire industry like Amazon has a Prime Video with terrible audio? I prefer to listen series and movies in my Spanish prime language. But the Prime Spanish audio is very Prime Poor. When the actors are talking I have to increase the audio because is very Prime Low. Suddenly, when there is an action with Prime Music background, the audio is too strong. That’s the main reason why I don’t use Prime Video more frequently.
With all the multibillions dollars Prime Video is making, is that the best they can do? Shame on Prime Video!

Autoplay disaster
The latest “update” still hasn’t fixed the keyboard problem, or the fullscreen play default. The biggest disaster (one I emailed Amazon about months ago) is autoplaying a paused video when coming out of sleep mode. It’s only after putting my headphones, after doing something else on the computer, that I find that a paused video been playing since my Macbook Pro woke up. What makes that even worse is I might pause an R-rated moved, and my 3 year-old granddaughter wakes up the computer and starts seeing unacceptable content for her age. The ONLY solution, since Amazon refuses to fix this disregard for protecting children from content is to close the video, or the app. Pure nonsense. Absolutely failure to protect children by Amazon.com/
Stop with the AI
The new AI Beta Search is the most dysfunctional search I’ve ever used. I can’t find anything with it. The old search worked great. Why incorporate a new technology that doesn’t work and is wrecking the environment? Does Amazon have to ruin everything, everywhere, all the time? Yes. Yes, they do.

Nothing good on here except “ the boys “ they’ll keep trying to rob you every month even if you take your card off somehow. I’d give it half a star if I could. Absolutely a terrible streaming platform with no good choices that’s ran by crooks. By far the worst streaming platform I’ve ever used and I don’t recommend it unless you want to battle for months with the crooked Amazon company to simply delete your account and subscription. Jeff bezos doesn’t care about what you want to watch or whether you want to deactivate your account. He’s one of the pedo elites and one of the most corrupt amongst them.
Not ready for prime time
Doesn’t support multiple taps on the side to skip ahead like the android app finally implemented. Tapping the skip 10 second button is very slow to respond and if you tap it quickly it registers about 1 of 10 taps. If you change the focus to another app and then return to the prime video app it is at the menu instead of the show you were watching. Please improve prime video if you’re going to stream big sporting events. The UX is currently quite poor and I tend to skip watching games I’m mildly interested in on prime that I would watch on better platforms. Also confused by the inflated rating. The android app is better and has a more realistic rating near 4
NBA viewing experience is terrible
I'm really disappointed with the NBA playoff viewing experience on Prime. There is no option for pause/rewind (ie DVR functions) and the video quality is terrible.
Audio, Multiview, and Live Sports
Multiview layouts not being customizable is annoying. With two events on at once, you cannot split the screen 50/50. On most screens, this makes the function useless since one event is small and nearly unwatchable.
Audio is often spotty for live events. It can be ahead of the action. Visual stuttering is not uncommon, even with great wired connection.

Way too many commercials
Amazon Prime is at the point of being unwatchable due to the amount of commercial breaks. Time to cancel and stick to better streaming services that don’t put commercial breaks every few minutes of a show you’re trying to watch.
Unacceptable
Don’t understand why you have to pay for Amazon prime, then proceed to pay for all the movies, I find that unacceptable. You have to pay for movies that are over 25 years old. Tried to watch an oldie movie from 1998 and had to pay….. this is ridiculous. Hope they clear this up it’s 2026.

After watching 1.5 min ads sometimes video just got stuck and when I do rewind I gave me more 1.5 min of ads, for what?
No mini player? No playback speed?
Every native iOS app can do a mini player and has playback speed options. Why can’t Amazon do it?
