Forces AI now
This app now forces you to use their AI to look up anything. I just want to shop without being told what the item is and what its uses are. It feels like a nagging store employee that won’t leave me alone and shop in peace. Extremely frustrating

Going downhill
I have used Amazon for a long time. My family has used Amazon for a long time so when I constantly was experiencing my items not being delivered on time or the delivery day being pushed back or being told that my item was going to be delivered that day, and being told that day that my item was not coming, I was more than a little upset when I contacted Amazon I was told that I would be able to get a refund once I received the items after receiving some of the items I reached back out and was told that I could get a refund after reaching out multiple times after not receiving the refund or being told different things. I only got part of the refund back when I reached back out with this complaint, I was told that I was being switched to another representative and that representative told me that all of the other people I had spoken to was incorrect about the refund policy and that they could not refund my item unless I sent it back. I expressed that I was very upset that multiple people had told me the wrong thing and that I really hope to not use Amazon again. I will be using that gift card because I do not want to waste it but after that, I hope to not have to use it, which is unfortunate because it is one of the biggest shipping companies if not the biggest and it’s very frustrating

Unethical Marketing
As a trap for its most generous customers, Amazon offers No-Rush Digital Rewards. This is actually bait-and-switch marketing where they don’t explain that the digital rewards are actually only for digital amazon services that nobody wants like Amazon Music. Amazon clearly knows that when we choose delayed shipping for Amazon’s convenience that we expect to receive a digital CREDIT. Not a slap in the face. Do better Amazon. 1-star until they change their unethical marketing tactic.

All searches now go through Alexa
The app is beyond ruined now, you can’t even make a search without them forcing it through Alexa first, which can take 10+ seconds to load.
Then, after some AI slop answer just telling you about what the thing you’re searching for is (it literally explained what paper was to me), you have to hit a SECOND button to just continue to actual search results.
I don’t know whose idea this was but this is by far the worst UI choice I have ever seen on an app before. It literally stops you from searching for products, and adds a forced waiting time to every single search.
I don’t need AI to explain to me what I’m searching for or how to use it - if I’m searching for it, I already know that!!

This app is… bad
For the last week I have been trying to fix my orders that ALL say “revise payment method” and then have failed to let me to varying degrees. I’ve tried so many times now I know it’s not that I’m putting the information in incorrectly, and my bank has not given me a single indication that there is any failed transaction tips whatsoever. I spent an hour on the phone with customer service and even their end was fried because of how poor the quality of their site. I’m seriously considering just going and finding other ways to order all my stuff because it’s 200 dollars of microphone equipment that has repeatedly been cancelled and then delayed into hell. To add insult to injury, the verify card number type bar is fake! It’s a white rectangle that you cannot type or paste into in any way I’ve tried, which wouldn’t be a problem if everything I tried to do didn’t tell me “update your payment method”.

Alexa Invaded my UI
Deleted this because I can’t stand Alexa’s slow, unhelpful infiltration of every UI element. I don’t want your clunky recommendations turning every surface into cognitive overload. I want to search for the thing I want, look at a list of options, and buy it myself. Alexa needs to be a global opt-out or toggle off. Until then, this app stays uninstalled and I’m going back to Safari. If Alexa infiltrates that too, I’m canceling Prime and just shopping at Target.

No One Cares
In the same month we moved to Hawaii Amazon raised the annual rates. We found out that we don’t get two day shipping even though we’re getting charged more. Half the people shipping to Hawaii are inept at shipping. Orders often get lost. No one cares about Hawaii other than to abuse the islands, and Amazon wants to charge more. I can surely bet that two day shipping and other problems won’t be solved with the next price hike as well. Way to go monopoly capitalism. Way to go.

Prime is a ripoff
I haven’t received a next day shipment through Prime on the original delivery date in over a year unless it’s basic grocery store goods I could drive 5 minutes down the road to pick up for the same or lower price. Going to be dropping Prime after my $600 “Prime Next Day” order is delivered. Definitely not worth the price when you’re paying for “Prime” and not getting Prime.

Crashes consistently
I have an iPhone 16 pro and this is the only app that crashes, every single time I use it. After at least 20 minutes, it freezes up, turns black and then shuts down completely. Staples return partnership
Staples doesn’t offer a receipt for drop off packages. I know UPS has Internet down time, that syncs when online. I like having the drop off slip just in case something happens, as something did happen with ups and Amazon had no notification that a package was dropped off. Having a receipt is a lifesaver and proof. Staples needs to provide that as well. Prices are increasing just for prime day.

I was just shopping then one day it said restricted app!! I was so mad and I didn’t even do anything and now I’m locked out. I can’t find out anyway to fix this. Please help me Amazon. Amazon prime is a joke
I got tired of having to google how to talk to a real person every time I had an issue. Their customer service is so hidden that even with google and ai assistance, I’d still waste 20+ minutes trying to find a phone number or a chat that connects to an actual human. Everything just loops you back to their help pages. I switched to Walmart+ a few months ago and, while they’re not perfect, at least they don’t hide their customers service from people who are paying a monthly membership fee.

Amazon.ae is getting worse
I have lowering confidence that Amazon.ae can deliver properly AT ALL. Many orders get FALSELY cancelled, refunds are not processed and received as stated in the app. Delivery persons are horrible. Communications on delivery from Amazon or the seller is awkward and often misleading. What the heck is going on there? I’m missing products and money from this terribly managed company / app.

Freezing
I don't know what the deal is. I've used Amazon for years and recently have had the app just not wanting to work. It's updated. I turned off and on my phone, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and when I type things to search it works fine but my issue is tapping an item I'm trying to look at and the app refuses to register that. I'm only able to swipe up and down to look at other listings. I cannot favorite , add to cart or even look at the item. Sometimes I can't even access the filters or toggle prime off or on. I don't wanna have to use my PC every time I wanna go on Amazon this is ridiculous.

Over the constant changes and AI integration
Amazon has removed actual customer service with AI driven single track options, and began to charge for the simplest of returns. The product doesnt fit and I am not able to return it to an ups store, not able to call customer service, and not able work through normal options for simple return.
The constant changes to the app make it impossible to be comfortable with their service, and the need to limit options for customers is an insult for those of us who helped make them what they are. Losing customer service is the first to go. What’s next?

So over premium pricing for subpar service
I am so over paying a premium for 2 day delivery when none of our deliveries arrive on time anymore and nearly every single item is delayed by 1-2 days. Especially considering there are 2 new Amazon factories built in Virginia Beach. I might as well go to Walmart or target at this point. I’m also over delivery drivers who cannot properly deliver packages with care. Why does every single driver toss my items with no care in the world? Pay your drivers better. UPS does not have this issue when delivering items to my home. They are careful and considerate.
