AMC+ sucks and they make it very difficult to unsubscribe. I see why it’s discounted by 70%

But it’s very rude to take money from a future customer and they still can’t watch what you paid for 2 days ago.

If I could give it -0- stars, I would. This is the worst app out there. It frequently freezes/errors out. If you watch a show & then try to go back in to rewatch it, you can’t. It will only let you go forward unless you do some type of work-around. Someone will be doing a class action on this one day (that’s how bad it is). It’s also not cheap so if there are only a handful of shows you want to watch, wait until you can watch them on some other streaming app.

You would think a big corporation like AMC would put a little effort into the development of their app… kinda shocking how slow glitchy and out of wack it is

The app doesn’t work at all on LG tv’s and there is no fix. This has been going on for months and there’s still no fix and I’m still paying for a service I can’t use. Next issue is you can’t choose episodes to watch, there’s no way to delete movies of the continue watching list, and the app is super glitchy. Please fix.
Awful glitchy app
App is horrible! Doesn’t mark progress on watched shows, doesn’t rewind or fast forward appropriately, lag time on searches, etc. App issue, not an internet issue
MISSING CONTENT
I cannot access ORIGINAL AMC+ content as an AMC+ subscriber. It is available via XUMO premium channels version, but not through AMC+ as a full subscriber. I think it is there, but not searchable. Pls fix thx.

Don’t know what’s going on with the latest version of the Apple TV app, but I can’t access the cc switch. Having to cast from my phone. Not acceptable.

Worst Streaming App
App has no CC options on Apple TV. Tried all the work arounds with Apple TV settings and Apple Remote, when you can find the options they are grayed out. You can cast it off your phone and get captions but this makes it even worse trying to pause and rewind. Absolute trash

You guys suck. Id give your apps a negative 0 stars if i could. I did a 7 day trial and as soon as I get into this app on my Apple TV I find out I can’t watch anything because theres NO CLOSED CAPTIONS ON APPLE TV APP! Episode info says it has CC but theres no way to select caption options or turn them on either while the episode is playing or in settings. I downloaded the stupid app on iPad too and it apparently does have captions but not the Apple TV app for some ridiculous reason. It’s 2026 why on earth would you make an app without any closed captions???? Needless to say I’ll be canceling before I get charged. Most the stuff on app wasn’t interesting looking anyways. Only the walking dead stuff.

There’s no way to cancel your subscription.
They took $109 for the annual plan from me, and in the app it says to go to App Store to change my plan. There is nothing in my App Store, subscriptions, or my purchase history of this. I lost out on $110 and I haven’t found a way to get my money back yet.

In 2026, AMC+ Still Won’t Provide Multiple Profiles
It’s impossible to use this app with more than one person in a household, because AMC+ won’t provide individual profiles. If your spouse is binging the same show you’re watching, your progress gets overwritten and replaced with whoever is furthest ahead.
Just infuriating.
Not to mention numerous metadata errors, captions often being out of sync, and non-existent customer service. No 4K streaming. It’s like an app from 2012.

Not Very Good
The app constantly crashes on LG TVs and the iPhone app gives me error messages quite frequently. Will cancel subscription soon.

Signing in with Rectum I mean Spectrum is a pain in the butt. It’s really not worth it
Continue to charge me every month even though I have cancelled every month since December 2025.
I do not use this app. I cancel my subscription every month and yet every month they charge me $6.99. I go into my account settings and my account is reactivated, even though I have screenshot proof that I cancelled my subscription and it was successful. Such a scam. Can’t get through to anyone who can help me fix this issue.

This app doesn’t work at all, after you traverse the app, which most of the time is downright nonsensical like why would you make every on screen keyboard a straight line from A to Z 🙄, then you get to what you want to watch and it doesn’t load, so you try to cast it from your phone and it works through maybe 2 sets of ads and then halfway through the show it just completely loses sound and it will not come back after that one ad, if you rewind it it will have sound before the ad again. This is the worst app I have ever used. Terrible
Predatory Practices
Hello. I have attempted to cancel my subscription for nearly a year as of today. Each attempt has been futile, as I have canceled the subscription and still been charged the next month. The most recent time I took a screenshot to confirm my suspicions of possible predatory practices by the AMC Network. To confirm my suspicions, I read my latest billing statement and well, well, well. There it was, an AMC + Monthly charge for something that I canceled per the screenshot. I then emailed support thinking I would receive help. All I received was a person telling me I had an active subscription despite what I had just told them. I wish I had this person on the phone to hear the panic in his voice when I uploaded a screenshot that contradicted what he was reading and confirmed the AMC Network’s predatory practice. Not only did he not help, he CANCELLED my already cancelled subscription and stated that I would not be billed anymore. Despite the screenshot that he read, I AM STILL BEING CHARGED FOR SOMETHING I CANCELLED. He stated that I would receive an email confirming my cancellation to which I have not. I will be seeking legal representation to expose the AMC Networks predatory practices.

Just downloaded and the app and it doesn’t allow you to choose what season or episode you can start a series from. Time waster and AMC should do better, other apps allow you to pick what episode you want to watch. So how does AMC plus drop the ball on this? Definitely deleting app today.

Streaming Service is Awful
The concept that theres a fee for a streaming service with ads that cannot even load is laughable. I attempted to watch on my smart tv app first. Doesn’t load. I switch to using Airplay through my phone. Struggles to play the content and crashes at each ad break. The content of AMC is great, but if you can’t give me a platform that even slightly functions then let Netflix stream it and let the customers save some money.

App cancelled on its own
I bought the annual subscription and it’s paid til July but everytime I try to log in it’s says membership cancelled. Apple support won’t reimburse me and doesn’t play on Samsung tv anymore wtf.
Worst UI of Any Streaming App
Most of us are just here for TWD universe shows, I cannot wait to get through them so I can cancel my subscription. Trying to navigate to shows and episodes within is so frustrating, it’s almost as if they intentionally made it this difficult to navigate.
Overhaul it or take the app down at this point!
I own pretty much every subscription service and this one is by far the worst. I don’t necessarily have an issue with AMC, I like The Walking Dead sure, but no streaming app should crash, freeze, or have the amount of playback issues it has 🤣. In the span of one movie I’ve rewinded it maybe 4 times. 3/4 times it gave me a playback error and forced me to restart the app 🤦♂️. These are basic things that help make the user experience smooth. Make them feel like it’s actually worth the money. But this app? Is not. I did the free $10 trial? Immediately got charged $35 from them, non refundable 🤣. Complete bs. Never seen an app so mishandled.

Can’t play streaming shows, just sits and spins
Why can’t I play streaming shows. Chicago: February 22 2:51pm I can play live shows but NOT streaming shows. This happens all the time. I get out of the app and go back in and try: still can’t play any recorded shows. Delete and reinstall the App try: still can’t play recorded shows. What IS THE PROBLEM. I’m tired of this!Bo have a Samsung TV 9 series.

Keeps kicking me out of the app every 15 min! Not going to pay for something I can’t watch! Called them 3 times won’t do anything about it.
Shockingly buggy
Doesn’t matter which device I use, it rarely saves your stopping point in a movie if you’re gonna watch it in a few sittings. The movie automatically starts from the beginning. Also the app feels bare bones in general. There’s minimal info on a movie’s description (just a one liner, no cast listing).
