Buggy
The app UI is falling apart. After purchasing a parking permit the app did not show the timer like it used to, making me think that the purchase had failed. I checked purchase history and saw no permit for today in my history. After AMP's recent failure I decided to err on the side of caution and reattempt the purchase. Only to find 2 simultaneous permits in my purchase history after checking. Never using this app again. I hope my university drops their contract with this subpar service ASAP.

Poorly designed app is straight out of 2011
Wow no way I can pay for parking on my iPhone 4!? Jokes aside, I think app devs from 15 years ago at least knew how to consistently scale menu icons. AMP Park feels out of place on my iPhone. Users expect a native, well-designed mobile app that supports OS features like Apple Pay. I am in the process of convincing my university to save money and improve the UX by building their own native app and backend to handle parking. Good riddance

This app is glitchy, buggy, and doesn’t work. If I could give zero stars, I would. It will say that parking is paid when it isn’t, and then I get ticketed. This app has costed me hundreds in parking tickets. If I buy parking during the evening, the next day the app tells me that I “met my pass limit for the day,” and I can’t do anything in the app. can’t recommend it any less.

the worst app i’ve ever downloaded
it technically functions but it seems like it was made as a first coding project which would be fine if this wasn’t important. i feel sketched out giving this app payment info just to put my car in a parking spot. i gave it 1 star but i wish i could give it a negative rating

THIS APP SUCKS.DO NOT GET THIS APP. For some reason, the parking location near the College of Business building no longer appears on ParkMobile. A sign in the lot said to download this app. Do not do it. It costs nearly twice as much ($15) to park here than on ParkMobile ($6). Honestly, I would rather walk a few extra minutes than to have to pay $15 to park there a few hours when I could pay $6. Do not get this app.
Genuinely One Of The Worst Apps I've Had The Displeasure Of Using
Crashes every time I finish entering my card number when it autoscrolls to the billing address, then it automatically tries to make a new account tied to my email even though I unselected it, then it neglects to tell me that my location doesn't accept Discover. I'm on an iPhone 17 it shouldnt be this hard to make a functioning app man???

Zone not recognized
Trying to pay for parking, but the app is fulls of bugs. Not responsive and does not recognize the zone.
Literally does not work
The account creation literally does not work. The password confirmation field literally does not work or is performing a behavior that is not clarified to the user. It also does not use native completion options. Terrible app.
I can’t even put into words how negative my experience was
But I’m going to try. The UI is terrible and I have never had a worse experience in an app or in real life. There were bugs and lag, and it took me maybe 15 minutes to pay for parking. The lady next to me also looked incredibly confused. I genuinely almost gave up. This app almost made me commit a crime. I’m proud to maintain this app’s one star rating.
God awful app
Sometimes I risk getting a ticket just so I don’t have to deal with this app. It’s so bad and only works for 4 hours at a time. If you try to buy a pass again after that it won’t let you. ALSO it starts subtracting time the minute you press how much time you need. When you fill out your card info it’s already subtracting time. The worst app I’ve ever used. Whoever made this app sucks and needs go back to school and learn how to code.

No Apple Pay, no auto fill, have to type everything in, no account through 3rd party like google or apple. Bad at identifying location. It’s like they’re part of Project 2025 and that is how they get contracts.

Inconsistent
I am currently trying to pay for parking and keep getting an error message that an internet connection is required. There is an internet connection so the error is in app. If I get a ticket, I’m going to be furious.

Ticketed anyway
I paid for a 24 hour pass and received a ticket over an hour before it expired. Not only was I wrongfully ticketed, the officer claimed that there was no evidence that I had even bought a ticket in the first place. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED!
Unable to make transaction
This app has many flaws. 1). The map doesn’t direct the user to the parking lot that they identify 2). Credit card transactions perpetually fail, even though the proper account info is entered (even trying with multiple credit cards) 3). There is no ability to contact the vendor when issue arise. As a previous reviewer wrote , “this feels like a beginner app project” (by a Jr. High Student)
Total garbage
UofM should be embarrassed. Other parking lots on campus are using different systems. No “U” in UX design here.
Feels like a "my first mobile app" project
This app is far inferior to ParkMobile, yet our employer forces us to use this unfinished, insecure app (recall that this past Feb, AMP was down for several days due to a mysterious "security issue" that they never told us the cause of.) This app looks and feels like a student or hobbyist's "first mobile app". It has terrible UI and UX.
It also does NOT support Apple Pay (unlike ParkMobile), so you're forced to type in your CC number into a very shady looking form within the app. App frequently errors out or stops responding. Often tapping on a parking zone does nothing, or zooms out and "combines" multiple zones into a dot that you can't tap on.
Also, how much money was spent replacing all the parking signage? Taking down the hundreds of ParkMobile signs after only a few years and making and putting up AMP Park signs must have cost a pretty penny.

Failure
Tried to pay for parking using the app on my iPhone but it said it couldn’t access the processing server. Installed the app on my Android and had no problem. Checked the version and it was current. Without a second phone I would have been screwed.

God… how come every time I have to park I have to download another parking app. And, then, half of them don’t work as is the case with this one?
Clunky and unreliable
It looks like you can’t sort the vehicles in your list, which means that if you have multiple vehicles saved but use one most of the time you could end up having to scroll down pretty much EVERY. Single. Time. you park, a process that frequently results in the app kicking you back to the previous screen. I love having to get to work 15 minutes early to argue with a junky app.
Most inconvenient app I have ever used
Unless you have the time and patience to eat a five course meal while trying to park, this app is not for you. It took me over ten minutes to fill out the necessary information for creating an account. Each time my password was deemed too short the app would tell me an account had already been created with my email address, and I would have to restart the process, only to find that something else had gone wrong. Overall, the account creation process the process is so inconvenient and LONG, which is the opposite thing you want when parking.

30 minutes in between parking?
Why does it make any sense to these people that you can have to wait 30 minutes before you can park again every hour. I don’t have 30 minutes to waste while I’m actively working. It’s ridiculous and this needs to be corrected.
Lack of convenience
Does the bare minimum. Search is limited. No ApplePay or autofill so it takes 5 min to fill in info. Forget to add email (which does not indicate required info), and it gives you an error and kicks you out of the payment screen, so you can re-enter everything. Frustrating.
Terrible
One of the most difficult and clunky parking apps I’ve ever used. It makes the everything involved in paying for a parking spot extremely hard! Why can’t I just scan the QR code and pay but instead I have to dissect the map for the exact lot or building name where I’m parking.
