This Application doesn’t work well

Why sell it if it doesn’t work for iOS 26?
So you download the app, it’s positioned on the store as being compatible with the current operating system, you agree to purchase the app, and the first thing you’re greeted with is “yeah so it stopped working with iOS 16, got worse with 26, and barely works now, thanks for your money”.
It’s extremely difficult to get a reading on a Qi2 charger. Good luck with a Qi1 charger. No way. It took 1 hr and 12 minutes on my Qi2 charger.

Doesn’t give rate of charge

Slow and useless
Slower than molasses. Waited 10-20 minutes and test was still running. Don’t waste your money. If I could give zero stars I would.
Fraudulent Aop
Developer ONLY tells you after purchase that Apple has greatly reduced their ability to perform metrics on your devices battery. So you get nothing, while they already have your money.
Never does anything
Click Start test and it just says “Starting” leave it there for 20 minutes never does anything. Tried multiple times, reinstalling app, restarting phone, everything I could think of to get it to work and different chargers too. Wireless and wired.. it’s always been this way even when I bought the app over two years ago when I had iPhone 11 Pro Max IR but I came back to try it again and still never does anything just “starting” .. This time with my iPhone 13 latest iOS 17 ..At least the free app worked sometimes if u let an ad run
Something is wrong
The app doesn’t work anymore on my iPhone 15 or ios 17. Testing time is taking very long time and the end result shows very low wattage (1 watt) which is not right. Please fix. I paid for this app not too long ago. Didn’t get much use yet.
Doesn’t work anymore
Probably an iOS 17 thing, but now it always says it is charging at ~1W. Which is…not accurate.
Hopefully the dev can get this sorted out soon.

Doesn’t work with IOS 17
Liked this app until it stopped working with new iPhone 15 pro max and IOS 17. Needs update!
Neeed update
Not working on ios 17

Alarm not reliable
I’ve found I can’t depend on the app’s alarm to work when charging. When set to 80, it appears to work 4 out of 5 times.
Does not work
Once I start the test it would just crash 1% of the way.
Takes 10 minutes to measure the actual charging speed
I wanted to use this app to figure out the quality of the different USB-C cables that I have.
But it takes between 5 and 10 minutes EACH time to measure the charging wattage of a cable. Sorry, but that is just useless for comapring mutliple cables. I got myself a USB Meter for $16 and it does the job immediately and accurately.

No longer works
I used to love this app, but it unfortunately doesn’t work anymore. The tests no longer finish. Even after running a test for 30 min and my phone charging about 40%, the app still says the test is “running”. This app is useless if it never completes and doesn’t give you any results.
Does not work on ipad in landscape mode
How disappointing in 2021 that someone designed an app that is not portable to landscape mode on an ipad - this is easy just regen the code to support it - - did you forget that people use iPads just as much as iPhones - too bad I paid my two bucks to have to find out this limitation. Yucky.
Not accurate at all!
If you compare the results to a Volt/Watt meter that plugs in between the charger and the phone you get actual results. The app is not reliable. It would show that I get 25.9 Watts from a 20 Watt charger?! Where as the physical meter tool reads an appropriate ~18/19 Watts... waste of money
Used to work, now doesn’t.
Keeps reporting a charge rate of 51.75 watts on a 10.5 iPad Pro when connected to an 18W charger.
Gimmick
This doesn’t actually really measure anything. It just times how long your phone battery takes to go up 1% then guesses how much power that took. It varies wildly with how much other stuff your phone was doing even how strong your cell signal was effects the results. On top of that it takes a long time too.
Ok for a free app maybe but for a paid app it should do way better.

Doesn’t work
Doesn’t read amps correctly. Tried with many different Apple power bricks And cords. They all read at 480-520ma only. Apple wouldn’t even refund my money when I put in a request.
Waste of money
Tried the compare wizard on an iPad Gen 7 using iPad charger base vs iPhone charger base. Battery was at 60% when I tried the test, which was in line with suggested testing zone. After an hour it still could produce a result. I gave up. Lame app. Don’t waste your time and money.
Doesn’t work properly on iPhone 11 Pro
I’m getting nonsense charger test results even when following directions carefully on my brand new iPhone 11 Pro. My wireless charger definitely isn’t outputting 68.53 watts.
Charging test results in total nonsense.
I tried it on the same charger 3 times in a row, was told vastly different currents each time. The results are clearly wrong/meaningless. Guaging the current pulled from different adapters was the one job I got it for, and it can't even handle it. I ended up just using my multimeter with needles attached.
Also the user interface is a total train wreck.

Don’t waste your money
Tested against ruideng usb tester. App says charging rate of 7.5 watts, while actually drawing 12watts. This app doesn’t take into account battery conditions and other factors. Very generic. There’s nothing out there that will give you precise charging information other than a real USB in-line tester.
A piece of garbage!!!
The app just sits there in a loop just testing and testing and testing it takes forever and then doesn't do anything.
There's no progress indicator and no way of knowing how long it's going to take or if anything is actually happening at all which it turns out nothing is.
A worthless garbage app that's not worth the bits of storage that it takes up. This app is literally does nothing but show you an animated battery.

Stupid app
This app just times how long it takes to charge one percent. It does not show real information about input current.
Use your watch to time how long it takes to increase charge by 1% and you have all the app does
Complete waste of $$ this app does absolutely NOTHING but time how long it takes your battery to increase 1% and creates a subjective rating with no detail. You can download much better apps like coconut battery for free!
Inaccurate
Told me my phone was charging at 2.5A when it was connected to a 500mA supply.
I give up
I have tried multiple apps which promise to measure charge rates. But none can it seems isn’t he iOS11 world. This am simply guesstimates rate by timing a 2% charge... Not the developer’s fault, but I am done wasting money chasing a unicorn.
Thanks Apple! I guess they don’t want people knowing how crummy a charger they ship with the iPad pro’s...

Doesn't work for fast charging
I got this to see how much faster fast charging really is. Doesn't work:
iPhone charger - 814
iPad charger - 1629
Every single fast charger I tried - 1222
Yes, I'm using the Apple cable and yes, I'm getting a double chime when plugging them in.
In fact one of my fast chargers is bogus and I only get one chime when plugging it in. Turns out it's only 3A. That one gets a score of 1222 as well.
Even my wall socket USB ports get an exact score of 1222.
The official Apple 67W adapter got a score of 977. Good to know the 1A iPhone charger and the fast charging 67W adapter are basically the same.
Oh and, all these numbers came from my iPhone X being in the 50% range.
This app is garbage!
Response to developer:
According to an actual watt meter your numbers are still garbage. Review stays at 1 star.
"I would love to get more accurate results myself, BUT its not available via the iOS at this moment. Apple locked access to this data since iOS 10."
Thanks for admitting the app gives less than accurate results.
A competitor app? Ha! Whatever gets you to sleep at night bud. I'm just calling out the fact this app is not accurate at all as you even stated yourself. Also there is a more accurate way as I clearly stated earlier with an actual watt meter. Of which I used to bust the reliability of this app. Keep it up man, I can go on forever.
And to add to all this, I got some bogus 8000+ reading on my USB wall outlet last night which maxes out at 2.4A. Perfect timing as I was showing a buddy of mine how this app doesn't work.

Useless on newer iOS
Seriously in need of update
Warnings are too late
The first thing I saw after I bought this app:
“Due to some limitations in current versions of iOS, it's impossible to obtain charging results directly from the system. Therefore, Amperes uses the only available but slow method.”
Isn’t this something I should have been told before I bought the app, not after?

Not as described.
The app description should be updated to reflect that it no longer measures charger and cable performance as advertised. The app developers tell you this AFTER you’ve paid, not before, and that’s bad business.
Used to work great
I use this app frequently. Since iOS 17 update this app will no longer test wireless charging or MagSafe charging. The percent climbs slower but the app doesn’t register or calculate the charging wattage. Very disappointing. I don’t want to have to pay for another app because this one is t working properly.
doesent apear on subscription. to cancle
this is a scam i downloaded this app and it doesent work well on my iphone 12
Alarm
Alarm doesn’t work and I get no notifications as to my battery reaching a limit I set . I paid for this app for that very feature. 2 stars alarm doesn’t work
attention please 😔
The error in the alarm is to lower the charging ratio you specify
