Jewish propaganda studio
I got it to watch the movie shift but everything else on there is just Jewish propaganda portraying other religion. I canceled my membership right after.

I’m extremely disappointed with this app. Trying to cancel my membership has been a nightmare. The cancellation button on their website does not work, and there’s no clear, reliable way to stop recurring charges. That’s not just frustrating - it feels intentionally difficult.
A company that makes it easy to sign up should make it just as easy to cancel. Hiding or breaking the cancellation process comes across as shady business practice. Until they fix this and provide a transparent way to manage subscriptions, I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Way too expensive
There’s no free option, the paid options even have ads unless you wanna pay over $20 a month. These streaming apps are getting ridiculous.

Very unhappy ! Great content but this is two years I have paid and get zero for it! Be aware if you pay for a year on your CC they will automatically bill you the following year!! There is NO number to call ! Troubleshooting does not work . I logged off and on nothing changes!! I have spent hours trying to get this content. I did get it last year for a few months but after trying to watch after a few weeks, could no longer get it! It continues to pop up , join to access content!
Who has a business but no phone to help customers!! I am done with Angel! They should never charge your card without contacting you first. I appealed the charge for this year but Angel sent a letter to my CC advising them I signed up for this!!

Stupid to Log Into
Have to log in frequently and does not accept password that is copied and pasted from saved passwords. By the time you log in you’re absolutely not in any mood for a movie. Content has been family friendly but just too hard to get to.

Really upset
I got this service because I could use the guild benefits on my Apple TV with their app, now my app is suddenly not allowing me to watch my torches and vote. The icon completely disappeared and I have no idea how to get it back what happened??? It was working earlier this week.
Could be better
Don’t get me wrong. I would love to write this a lot higher and actually give a good thorough review. I would really like to like this app, but the fact that it advertises things for free to watch but every time I try to watch something it’s constantly freezing or I only get to watch like a couple episodes and then I have to pay a subscription fee to continue watching which I would have no problem doing, but there’s no try free for a week before submitting to it to see what else there is to offer

I payed for no ads and the ads are still there.
Need better selection
Had this for about 3 months. In that 3 months there was about 3 good movies and maybe 2 good shows. Not worth it
Terrible customer support
In an age of auto renewing subscriptions, customer service means giving the customer the benefit of the doubt and canceling/refunding when there is an unintentional charge. Only the worst companies will hold you to every unread contract line and nickel and dime you upon accidental auto-renewal. Unfortunately, Angel is one of these companies. I would never recommend them.
Scam
All movies are “christian” related. That is no problem but they should state that in the app description. Not everyone believes in make believe.
Not Worth the Fee
I decided to try this streaming service and what a let down it was. The collection of movies are older for the most part or just not great quality. I wanted faith based content but some of it is just far right political propaganda. $21 a month is just not sustainable when the product is so mediocre.
Robot
This app on tv, iPad, or phone is glitching… No it’s not on my end! After reading the most recent reviews this seems to be a problem that hasn’t been fixed & a robot is responding to all reviews with the same response! Advertising good movies, with poor service!
If I could give this a NO star I would
They make it difficult for you to even begin to cancel your subscription if you want to. And I am pretty computer literate
The guild is not a good source for content approval.
I watched Thankyou Dr Fauci. I do agree it could be true, but it is not fact based and very much conspiracy theory media. I’m disappointed with angel. Not inspirational and not uplifting. Will cancel subscription after watching truth and treason.

Tuttle twins was fun to watch but everything is so expensive on there and I have been like- permanently locked out of my account for some reason?
Terrible
We have been paying for the premium package for months and still are being asked to purchase more to be able to watch. All the shows are for 15 minutes or just trailers. Very frustrating!
Screen won’t rotate
It will not rotate in full screen mode, so I’m always looking at a tiny little picture. Works fine on my phone not on iPad. I don’t wanna watch on my phone so I’m canceling my subscription.
Poor customer service
Great movies but overpriced. Takes weeks before they respond to an inquiry.
Mediocre
I like the content of the app. However the app itself is annoying. Why does it only play in portrait mode? Its movies and tv!?! It should play in landscape mode! Might cancel my subscription to Angel for this reason. This isn’t how I prefer to watch.
Orientation stuck in portrait
I enjoy the content, but the iPad app is stuck in portrait orientation. This was tested on multiple devices, with and without orientation lock on, and it always forces itself to portrait and not landscape. Please fix this.
Latest update
The latest update has messed up the screen rotation and no longer allows to rotate to landscape. Super frustrating, please fix. Otherwise absolutely loving everything on Angel
Angel is great, but the app is not.
For some reason when you try to watch something full screen on your iPad, it doesn’t go full screen. It makes for a very poor viewing experience, since most people don’t want to watch movies in portrait mode.
Portrait mode
Portrait mode does not work on the iPad. iPad is up-to-date. I tried deleting the app reinstalling and logging in with no change.
Angel
👀Watch out👀 They so you can cancel anytime but there’s absolutely no place to do it. Not in the app. Not in your email. Not in the App Store. There’s also no place to contact them. What a way to keep sucking the $ out of your pockets. $6.99 no big deal? It is when there is tons of people trying to cancel!!
Beware
Before you download and subscribe be aware that it is hard to cancel. There is supposed to be a cancel button below the Edit Payment Method in the Membership tab. It's not there.
Money paid no service received
The support requests have been unanswered. They have taken my money and I want it back. Be warned of signing up via a Facebook discount code. email is the only thing you get and you receive nothing but a response saying we will get back with you which of course does not happen. I will not let this slide.

Overcharged me!
I have really wanted to try out Angel Studios, but felt they were just too expensive for my budget. Then I saw an offer for a $12 a month subscription. I took the leap and have been really enjoying angel until the trial period was over and they charged me $20 instead of the $12. Why would they do that? Why would I join with a $12 subscription fee for them to then overcharge me by eight dollars??? interestingly I went into the App Store and tried to change that and get a new subscription for the $12 a month but the system just automatically bounces it back to $20 no matter what I selected. It is truly as if the system is trying to scam me. This is incredibly disappointing and disheartening that Angel Studios would intentionally offer a lower price only to charge me the higher price. As a result, I have decided to cancel my subscription and get a refund because I won’t tolerate this type of deception. The quality of movies on Angel are really good. It is their business practices that will keep me away. ⭐️⭐️ Minus three stars due to fraudulent business practices. Check your bank account!!!

Subtitles won’t turn off
I enjoy watching the app but no matter what I do the subtitles will not turn off. I won’t recommend the app for that reason and I haven’t been watching because if it.

I have tried EVERYTHING to get the closed caption off. I do not want to read the movie and for me it is so distracting. I turned it off, reset the app, uninstalled and reinstalled app. I have turned it on, then turned it off again. I checked my phone settings and played other videos. I DO NOT WANT CLOSED CAPTION!!!!
Difficult to manage
I have tried to cancel the membership but I am continually charged. It will show cancelled, but the next month, I am charged again. The content is good for the selection present. But perhaps with time the catalog will expand. Managing accounts should not be difficult and neither should reaching support.
0 stars for app functionality
We decided to go ahead and try angel out because the shows and movies we’ve seen advertised looked really interesting. Wish we could actually watch them. So on our phones we can’t watch it in full screen/landscape mode, and on our Roku it’s constantly buffering or kicking us out claiming bad internet connection despite all other streaming apps working just fine. Really wish the angel app worked better. Only gave 2 stars because the options sound interesting. Would have been 0 stars on app functionality alone.
Ok but
Functions fine, over all. Though it’s annoying I couldn’t log in On my tv and had to have a whole separate membership to use my own 2 devices. That being said, I’m also INCREDIBLY irritated by the content of animal farm as a part of this platform. So disappointed that I’m probably going to cancel my membership. A membership I have because I desire to have quality, reliable content for my kids to watch. At least with amazon I only pay for the programs i want. This is why I canceled Netflix.
Apps need work
The appleTV app stopped working a month ago and then the iPad app stopped working in the last week. I entered a Support ticket, received an automated reply but nothing else. I paid for a year and now can’t use the service.
