If you are going to play this game be prepared to pay up. The games is pretty much impossible to progress unless you pay for the in game currency. It would be 2 stars if they didn’t remove the other better angry birds games from the store. Would give it 0 stars if I could

Game is all about pay to win. The system where you have to wait until the bar reloads to play is an awful way to try to make money. It ruins the game. Not to mention having to pay to upgrade your birds with gems. There’s a million pop ups for in game purchases and a million different ways they try to make money off of you. My suggestion is to get rid of largely all in game purchases, make it so you can effectively upgrade to win and don’t make the levels so hard it forces you to buy gems.

They torched the angry birds franchise with this game. You can’t do anything without paying. It’s absolutely terrible what they did with angry birds. It use to be a chill game, now it’s all about money. Don’t play. And it’s all PG maps (procedural generated). The events are AI based, they learn your play style and you get less rewards.

The game has become so bloated over the years it no longer loads. I waited five minutes several times and the game stays stuck on the Starting Up screen, even after deleting the app and redownloading. I can’t let my 8yo play it because of all the pop-ups either. The in-game ads are AI trash and deceptively designed so that you can’t click out of them even after the time is up. I’ve played since the OG Angry Birds came out and it’s just another victim of entrashification.

This game has been a mess of disappointment for me. I went into wanting to really like it having grown up with the original angry bird games. However, this game had ruined some of that nostalgia for me. Outside of the in game worlds that run way to long causing the game to feel repetitive, angry birds 2 has a leveling system that requires you to go through a laundry list of side objectives that ultimately take away from the core experience and still leave you too under-leveled to beat and enjoy the main game unless you want to shill out a buck or two whenever you want to progress. This game is littered with interruptions at every turn to try and get you pay for something or watch an add. For a franchise with two full motion pictures under the belt you wouldn’t they’d be this desperate for money. In conclusion don’t play this game emulate the older/better angry bird games if you can since they’ve taken them off all stores in an attempt for people to play this soulless cash grab.
Fraudulent charge
I bought this game a month ago and made some in app purchases. Received items as paid for. A week later I get a random Bill for $7 for a starter pack that I never purchased and never received any in game items!!! I have no idea what these charges are and there’s no indication that there is any subscription.
Angry birds fell off
Hands down easily the worst rendition of angry birds I have ever played. When I got a pop up for three choices of packs to buy each coming in at $99 it was just the final straw for me. You could put a gun to my head and you’d have to pull the trigger before I would ever drop 100 dollars on some micro transaction hell slop like this game. There are almost some good features hidden beneath the random goy slop. Cards isn’t the worst mechanic and boss levels are kind of interesting. If only you could play more than 6 levels a day because of energy. I mean who doesn’t love energy in a mobile game? Gotta tease you with just a bit mediocre gameplay to make you either spend money to play more, or to get you to come back everyday to get your little hit of angry birds like you’re an opiate addict getting your methadone. How have we fallen so far from the likes of Angry Birds Star Wars or Angry Birds Space. Those are all time classics of mobile games. Even the original is amazing, too bad the game that was once free you now have to pay for. At least it’s only 99 cents, which this game is making me want to pay so I can delete this one. Although this game has turned me off so much that I feel absolutely gross giving any sort of money to this company. My apologies to the devs, I don’t blame you.

Too much ads half impossible and more
One of the only things I like - real good illustration. But when you lose in the games where only birds with some hat can play or the clan games and even normal levels, it’s really negative and makes you feel really bad, and I would like to say, some people just don’t have the money for all those gems to get extra birds! And sometimes in levels birds bump into each other or the building falls when you launch a bird and you basically waste a bird. Also, stuff pops up the second you get in the game and it takes like five minutes to get rid of it all, but that’s ok. And I look at the other reviews, about energy, tower of fortune, gems and money, waste of time, all that, I kinda agree, and for all the comments with like two or one stars, you haven’t replied or even bothered to fix! You only focus on the good reviews, and don’t seem to care about the bad reviews. Also, you should take away the spending money for gems. You say you are “working on it”, what lame excuse is that. Pls fix it, thanks.

Just a money grab
This is not the angry birds you’d expect. Too busy, game crashes in the middle of matches, and you better be ready to spend real money on a fake game. I’d rather just pay for an app then enjoy it, instead of being basically forced continuously fork over money just to progress.

Expensive and impossible King Pig Levels
If you play the King Pig levels at the third level of your winning streak its impossible to win and you have to buy gems to continue and you don’t get much for those prices. This game sucks, you are better off buying a handheld emulator than fall for this money grab.

Borderline unplayable
The amount of windows and pop ups and distractions is absurd. It is practically unplayable. It will take you 5 minutes until you can get near to playing the game, but then good luck figuring out how to start the actual game.

Fun game, unfortunately built for you to have to pay to progress, when you are tempted to buy a “discounted” bundle it will overcharge you, so far i purchased a presumably $2.99 upgrade and was charged $9.99 so be mindful
