In letzter Zeit hat man ständig nur dir Hörfassungen.
Es kann doch heutzutage nicht so schwer sein, Leute mit genügend IT Wissen zu finden.
Ich habe diese Probleme nicht mit dem ZDF

App going crazy
Since yesterday almost all shows I have been watching are blocked, even the shows I watched half way through and wanting to finish watching! App is completely buggy right now! Doesn’t respond right. Frustrating! I usually enjoy this app and am happy to receive German Programming. But, anytime the app is updated or refigured, it will be buggy for days. I hope this can be addressed as soon as possible!!! Feb 18, 2024

What’s the point of allowing downloads when I can’t watch them offline because they disappear? Give me access to the repo and I fix it myself..

Seit der update bin ich nicht mehr in der Lage, ARD über Apple TV abzuspielen. Auf dem IPad habe ich keine Probleme.
Ich hoffe das ist bald wieder resolved.

Der erste Eindruck: Sexualisierung und Queer
Ich bin schockiert wie sexualisiert das deutsche Fernsehen geworden ist und damit auch noch geworben wird, als ob das normal wäre.
Beim Überfliegen der App sieht man z.B. bei der Rubrik „Serien“ zwei küssende Männer; „Warum lohnt sich mutig sein Talk“ sind LBTQ+ Vertreter, wenn die App geöffnet wird schaut man direkt auf eine Zeichnung von einem fliegenden Penis „Servus Baby“… jedem das Seine, aber es ist wirklich unangenehm mit solchen Bildern bombardiert zu werden…finde ich sehr peinlich für den ARD!!!

Habe einen Reisepass von 2016. Überprüfung des Alters gibt mir nur eine nichtsnutzige Fehlermeldung.

Useless - plays random videos
Absolutely useless - if you click on a video it plays some random musical HR video.
Kein Abspielen von Bild in Bild möglich!
Die App funktioniert gut, soweit keine crashes bemerkt. Gut ist dass man die Videoqualität auswählen kann. Browsen fällt auch leichter als in der „Das Erste“ Mediathek. Manchmal Ist es schwierig die Hörfassungen zu bestimmten Videos zu finden. Ein sehr großer Nachteil: Wiedergabe von Bild-in-Bild ist nicht möglich und auch Hintergrundwiedergabe um gleichzeitig andere Apps/Browser zu benutzen ist nicht möglich!

Some programs won’t start. You won’t get any UI indication if this is because there is a DRM issue or if the app hangs or what. All that does not happen on browsers or on the iPad but on Apple TV. So someone needs to do their job.

Seit neuesten funktioniert nichts mehr mit der App. Sobald man iPhone sngasst, fängt der Film von ganz vorn an. Ton ist nur noch abgehackt. Sehr oft verliert man Kontrolle über Chromecast in der App. War alles schon einmal VIEL besser. Da hat jemand trotz unsere Gebühren nur Pfusch gemacht. Wenn ihr Privatunternehmen wärt und nicht einfach jedes Jahr die Gebühren für Euren Pfusch einfach so erhöhen dürftet, wäre diese App schon lange korrigiert. Aber das geht nun schon einige Monste so und kein Update gemacht. Ihr wisst doch dass ich Pfusch gemacht habt. Jeder Test hätte euch das gezeigt

After the latest update the app does not work anymore. It keeps in the loading screen and after a while disconnects. Testing prior to releasing may help.

ARD update made App unusable
ARD mediathek used to be a good source for all kind of videos broadcasted by the public German TV stations. It’s unbelievable how such a big organization (stuffed by billions of taxpayers money) can mess up a previously working app. App got terrible slow; certain functions don’t response or work at all; player doesn’t forward/rewind; etc....
How can you release an App that’s not even on beta-level???

Doesn’t prevent iPad Sleep
App doesn’t prevent iPad sleep when video is playing, and video will only play when App is in foreground and active, so forget about airplay to your apple TV. As soon as your iPad sleeps the video stops.

Where are the Vorrab videos
Used to watch episodes of shows for the next day, in the old app, now they don’t show up anymore. I can still see them on the regular Mediathek website.
“Improved” app
Since the app has been improved I cannot finish watching any show like f ex Tatort. Very frustrating snd meaning that I will have to stop watching ARD all together. What a bad new app!!!
It was fine before changes
I live in the US and enjoyed watching German TV - up until the APP was ‘changed and improved’- the streaming now is very bad, unfortunately. Very disappointing, sometimes good things don’t need to be fixed!
Crashes Often
This app crashes a lot. I’m glad that I didn’t have to pay money for it. Pity.
