Lazy map making, doesn’t get more difficult just gets more cheap and underhanded
Starts out fun, with interesting maps, then the difficulty “increases” by just having maps with a bunch of hazard spaces where you can’t place your operators hardly anywhere but enemies can move almost anywhere, why can’t I put my operator there but everything else can move around there no problem? Because it’s got black and yellow hazard tape around the edges? Give me a break, use your brains to make actually difficult maps instead of relying on cheap tricks and underhanded tactics. Game devs are losers and deserve to be fired for this low effort nonsense.

I have spent few years building my game profile. Recent update made me log-in under different login - my previous game profile did not pop up with old logins. Lost all of my progress. Honestly I’m pretty sad about it. Sad enough to write an app review (this is my very first app review of my life).

Started in 2020
Recent update apparently made their proprietary account management mandatory.
I had 2 accounts now unrecoverable. Tons of maxed out characters, years worth of monthly passes, skins, limited release characters….all gone.

I LOST EVERYTHING.
I am a long term Arknights player and I have lost ALL of my hard earnings and ops with limited cosmetic skins, I did not bind, but my account was just suddenly terminated??? What GIVES. I SPENT MONEY IN THIS NOW MY TIME IS WASTED. THANKS ALOT. I guess Goddess of Victory: Nikke treats their customers well.
Disappointing service
All I can say is that the super slow updates to the quality of life is extremely disappointing. It’s to justify spending on this game when it feels like they don’t respect the gamer’s experience.

Terrible Apple Support
I take a break from playing the game for a few months, I come back, try sign into my account using the email I used, all of a sudden I lost my account and I created a new one. All of that data, now gone.
Completely unnecessary loss of collab units and gameplay that I will probably never get again. I am never playing this game again.

REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE
I spent 2-3 hours playing IS mode and kept crashing the game. This happened all the time when I was with the game for 5 years and still haven't seen the save progress feature and I feel so bad.

horrible lagging and frame drops
After the newest update, game would develop unbearable lagging and FPS drops, making players impossible to operate precisely. Since I'm also an experienced player on CN server for years, I know that similar app performance degeneration happened before on CN side with the exact same event version update. Clearly and unfortunately, they did nothing to prevent it from happening again on the Global server side. One star rate for your prejudice and ignorance of user experiences, super disappointed.

The game deleted my account that I had for years without any way of recovering it, the developer don’t care, they will milk you and throw you away. Awful experience, I would give it 0 stars if I could

Yostar lost my account
great game but im not sure i trust yostar to run it. I had an account since 2020, but stopped playing. I went to log back in, but instead of logging into my account, yostar instead made a new account with the same email! Now i cant even recover the old account bc the old services are all closed, and yostar only has bots available for customer support. Really disappointing customer experience to lose my account to their error with no help. Bluepoch & Hoyo are much more reliable. Hopefully i can reach a human from Yostar soon & then update my review to say how helpful they are.
please yostar, get yourself together
I have played this game for over 3 years and I can safely say that this is my favorite gacha game of all time, there are very few downsides I can think of about it. But one of them is unfortunately the publishers themselves. In the span of just 5 months you guys have managed to cause some horrible issues to the game, with the latest being stronghold protocol event not appearing in the scheduled time until 2 hours later. I love Arknights and I will not pretend to do a stupid boycott attempt, but you guys are actively pushing away players by messing up constantly like this. Please for the love of god, stop treating us EN players like second-class citizens and put some work into publishing the game smoothly.

The update to the dorm ui is so frustrating
Change the ui back to what it was. I do not like the order change the factories are laid out. When you enter a dorm and tap an op, it dont show rest time anymore. Then when it feels like even though I stress out avoiding this button to rest everyone, it does it on its own anyways. It takes so long dealing with the dorm and this was an issue since the path release. I’m tried of this, change the ui back, I never asked to change the dorm. The 2 tabs I hate too, having those tabs just adds on more time to sort though things when I try rest someone

No multilingual UI
Why does it have multilingual voice over, but only allow to use English interface? Or is it my user error?

Been playing since April 2020 and I just lost all my progress and had to start over even tho I binded my account to yostar
Game is great BUT
I have lost my account do to the switch to strictly yostar accounts I have a valid apple account but because I don’t have it binded to a yostar account I can’t get access to it overall great game but is very frustrating to lose so much progress time and money

-Base management is an unfun chore
-STILL can’t instantly resolve auto deployments
-story is written by authors who enjoy the smell of their own farts
+English localization seems pretty good despite the writing
Pardon my screaming into the void but I haven’t looked forward to seeing/interacting with event stage mechanics in years. Could be burnout talking but they have almost all been frustrating instead of fun.
Maybe if it seemed like devs respected my time a little more I’d leave it installed, but for now I think I’m done.
