Takes up 10% of my entire battery from 30min of background activity. Not sure how that’s even possible lol check your battery health in settings to see if it’s happening to you too

This app never opens on iOS. I’ve updated it, updated my phone, reinstalled it, rebooted my phone. Never opens.

Good from far, however, far from good.
In the beginning this app seemed like it was everything I wanted in mobile protection. For starters it’s not free for me and I’m with AT&T’s FirstNet program. It does come free for those outside of FirstNet if you’re only with AT&T. That’s a bummer but I can get over that. What I can’t get over is the fact that it significantly reduces my internet speed by like 50% and I got an iPhone 17pro. It doesn’t allow me to access my healthcare benefits with the military and as a result, I’m currently locked out of my account and need to call TRICARE to have them unlock my account. All this because it wouldn’t fully load the page. Yet my iPad that’s also connected with FirstNet and WITHOUT ActiveArmor loads just fine. The message I got was “To Many Failed Attempts”. I don’t know how when I unlocked it with my FACE!!!! But the app will warn the hell out of you when you disconnect and reconnect to some good WiFi only to slow down the speeds again by like 50%. So it’s a lose lose. Your best bet is delete the app and enjoy that 5G+ without ActiveArmor throttling/reducing your internet speeds and locking you out of much needed access to YOUR accounts.

Battery Drain
This app has been draining my phone battery. Taking 60%+ usage and my phone needs recharging after only a few hours.
Used to be great!
This app has been great for the last two years and after the last update the VPN keeps turning off in less than a minute after I toggle it on. So now the “safe browsing” function no longer works and does not scan any URL’s. The app also deleted all of my information that was input for security monitoring. Pain in the bum to re-enter all that info again. Unfortunately If I can’t get it to work again I just might switch to another company.
Adds nothing
The app uses your phone’s already built in spam filtering. Meaning it adds no value or additional features but will happily take your credit card.
Horrible App
The app is a terrible at resource management. My phone battery was getting drained down to under 10% daily. Looked at battery usage and found it was this app sucking up 60-70% of battery in a day. Makes you wonder what nefarious activity they have going on in the background. Delete app, don’t use!

Still bugged not pop up numbers and settings change very bugged crashes.

As I am downloading this app, I am having a input my credit card number. AT&T stating that it is free! Please explain why I cannot use this app when it is free according to my cell service?

No whitelisting
I am an AT&T customer and a small business owner. I have raised multiple instances to try to whitelist my business website, there is no process. My website is not malicious although AT&T’s active armor flags it as malicious. I even visited an AT&T shop and tested my website with the store tools for web safety. Everything was ok. Terrible unilateral judgement.
The Price Increase is Outrageous
AT&T is just forcing the price increase for the credit monitoring down our throats. I don’t want this service and I certainly don’t want this service from AT&T for $36 a year. I already have this service from another provider that I’m very happy with. They should make this optional. Just AT&T once again gouging their customers for more money.
Battery Drain
Used to work well. It literally doesn’t stop any spam calls and it KILLS my battery.
Doesn’t work and destroys battery
My battery is draining super fast lately. I noticed in settings that this app alone has drained 17% of my phone battery today. I open the app to see what could be the issue. I see that it has not analyzed any calls in the past 8 months despite the service being included in my cell plan. I continue to get daily spam calls. So what is the app doing and why is it burning so much battery?
ActiveArmor cannot un block numbers
Spent over hour with chat and tech support. Critical number from contacts list shows blocked in ActiveArmor only. Cannot unblock. Only solution is uninstall ActiveArmor.
Killing my battery
On iOS 26.4 this app is just burning through my battery. So far today it alone has used 14%. This is an app that is never opened and just works in the background and yet it’s using more battery than anything else on my iPhone. How?
Don’t even work
I’ve downloaded, deleted and re-downloaded four times. When I open the app, it tells me that I need cellular data to continue and I need to change this in my settings. My cellular data is on, I’m also connected to Wi-Fi and it still won’t go past the first screen very aggravating.

Recently updated my phone to the 17 pro max and now I can’t use the app anymore give this error” not eligible your device must be enabled with AT&T HD Voice to use this service “ I’ve contacted support multiple times, I’ve had them a ticket has been put in as well still no update one the issue. It’s been a month.
Something Broke
This app used to work great and now it’s just nothing but problems. I have the advanced option included with my plan and when I try to use the app it keeps reverting me to the “free” one, even though the advanced is free for me and then wants be to “upgrade” by setting up a subscription through Apple. It’ll randomly say I need to be off WiFi for it to work, won’t let me connect it to my actual AT&T account at all, just completely broken from when it was at least pretty good before.
No longer works
Used to work well then upgraded phones now app no longer works and tells me I’m “ineligible” to setup/activate. Hoping it’s just an app glitch because the spam calls are driving me insane!
Price Increase
Why is there a $3.00 price increase but no improvements to the app or service. Spam calls even still coming through. The number look up feature doesn’t even worked. That’s a huge increase. Of course I will be dropping the service.

Drains battery, does not stop spam calls
So, we deleting reviews now? I wrote how this app after their last update basically turned this app into a battery drain (about 70% of the battery was drained in a single day by this app). Add to that, that it seems no spam calls are being stopped after the update.
Useless
This app hasn't logged a single incoming call in 3 weeks. Waste of time and money. If you're not going to make your service work properly just stop trying. I don't need another ssn or dark web security tracker. I need a reliable caller id/spam blocker which we would expect to work from a wireless phone company.

It’s difficult to review the app, because I keep getting an “unexpected error” and can’t continue from the starting page.

The app simply says that ineligible. I have AT&T, I have the feature added to my account, I turned off WiFi. It simply doesn’t work. Disappointing that I’ll need to change my phone number to stop spam calls.
Horrible
Not exactly sure why my reviews keep getting deleted because I know for a fact I’ve left multiple ones. The app had problems over the years and now it’s complete trash. Does not seem to work at all. Stopped screening my calls last Friday 03/20/2026. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and the app has become useless. Still says 0 for calls and there has been calls made to this phone number. So for $7 is unacceptable for a useless app. I am a flight attendant and it was nice to see phone calls that were missed while I was at work in the air due to my phone in airplane mode. However, the app is trash and use at your own discretion.
I used to love this App
I used to love this app but this recent update has changed the whole all completely. It no longer has real time access. And it only shows the scammer calls. I wish I could go back to the old version. It now takes several days to show current calls. Please go back to the old version. Now it now longer allows you to screenshot the calls you’re getting. But when searching the help it only mentioned not allowing you to screenshot passwords. What’s the point? I’m really beginning not to like this app anymore!!!
Still sucks
This app doesn’t get updated properly or something. It will block 5 calls then miss the next 20. This app is absolutely useless for spam text, but it misses most of the spam calls so I guess that checks out.

Phone not eligible
Hello, I have not been able to set up active armor ever since my device upgrade 2/13/26. I’ve done all those steps suggested and now the app just keeps spinning. In addition to the “not eligible” message, I also get error codes 12-20-09 and 20-40-500). I have contacted advanced technical support several times. I was informed that many other customers are experiencing this same issue. The case created was closed twice and was told a web form was filled out. Whatever that means. I also replied to the email regarding this review and told to email but I received no reply from them either. I look forward to this being resolved soon and for AT&T to not just let this go unnoticed. Thank you.

Prices Increased While Effectiveness Continues to Decline
The app keeps getting worse instead of improving. It shows that a “Spam Risk” caller was blocked, yet the call still came through and the caller was able to leave a voicemail. If the call was truly blocked, how did it still reach my phone?
It’s difficult to justify the continued price increases when the core functionality doesn’t work as advertised. The whole purpose of this service is to stop spam calls from reaching customers in the first place. Instead, the app logs them as “blocked” after the fact while the calls still get through.
For a paid service, this is frustrating and misleading. I would expect stronger spam filtering, better accuracy, and actual blocking before the call reaches my phone-not simply labeling it afterward.

Do not recommend
Although this is a paid subscription there is no support. It does do a good job of blocking but interface has bugs. Clearing history locks up the app and the app is poorly designed and organized. Now there is a price increase from $3.99 to $7.00. There are much better options
Doesn’t block 99% of spam calls
I have called AT&T numerous times to fix this, but I receive numerous spam calls every day for the past couple of weeks. I’ve changed the settings in Active Armor to not allow any spam or unknown callers to even ring. I still get multiple per day. AT&T apparently can’t do anything other than offer to change my entire phone number. The app needs to be fixed to do its one job.

It will not work on my phone. I keep receiving an error message that says I need to be a valid customer. Which I am.
Truly horrific
This thing sucks. First it asks me if I want to use the updated app, which takes me to the same app that I just opened, no update. Then when you get it to open, it’s unreal slow. It does one thing but still can’t do it.

At first the spam calls were blocked and didn't go through. Now i get hundreds of calls in a week and it's ridiculous considering how much i pay for service. You'd think it would actually work, but it's useless. I decided to uninstall the app since they have so many other alternatives that actually work.

Wont load
I have tried repeatedly over and over to load this because AT&T lets my commercial line get about 20 scams a day… Which doesn’t allow me to have customers reach me… all it does is send up error codes
