I just downloaded it and thought it was free (with optional subscription) but NO I have to pay 90 DOLLARS A YEAR FOR AN ATC APP, really? Atleast make it free with an optional subscription, I wanted to learn how to talk to ATC and get better at piloting because that’s what I want to do (be a pilot) and yet you put NOWHERE on the app’s description that it was payed, DO NOT GET IF YOURE WILLING TO SPEND MONEY (which is almost everyone who got it)

Dozens of clicks to get to the apps main purpose. They're trying to suck you in with a sale to a subscription. This app is a disease, avoid it at all costs.

7days free then $89/year
You can’t even try this app without selecting a payment option. Of which, you get 2. You can choose the 7 day free trial that auto bills $89/year at the end of you don’t cancel or you can choose to pay $6/week right away. That comes out to over $300/year if you stayed for a whole year. That’s crazy and greedy. I would entertain the idea of $89/year if I could see all the features and try the app without the risk of being billed after 7 days if I can’t cancel. I worry that with predatory pricing such as this, it would also make cancellation a nightmare. I’m not willing to risk it. Come up with a better pricing structure and maybe or give us a free 7 days without the risk of auto billing at the end.
Waste of time onboarding and forces subscription
Would you like to listen to ATC? Then you will be infuriated by the excessive onboarding experience!
Waste of money
They want $90 to listen to ATC, but they don’t let you pick what airports you can listen to. It’s just a list of preselected popular airports around the U.S.
Incomprehensible and predatory
Minimalist ui slop with overly developed and random features. Finding the search bar was completely accidental by scrolling too fast while trying to find the button. Why in the world would the main hub of searching for information or radios be a completely invisible swipe down from the top? Also missing a very large amount of airports and frequencies that many completely free options have. The weekly payment plan is also extremely predatory by disguising itself as a cheaper upfront cost option when in actuality it comes out to over $300 a year, over three times more expensive than the annual while also not allowing the free trial on a weekly.

I would try this but for $5.99 a week I don’t think so especially when I. A listen to live ATC.net on the internet for free.

Get rid of this stupit fn intro! I just want to get in the app and get started not take a damn survey and watch a stupid ad. Horrible start to your dumb app.

Well, it looked like a cool app but the only way to move forward is to participate in a free trial. I don’t want to have to remember to cancel if I don’t want to continue. Give me the option to add paid features later.

LIMITED AIRPORTS
I am paying for weekly service. I am not able to choose a list of airports that I want to listen to. That’s not fair.

Every time this app updates, you have to go through a 5+ minute, in-skippable, ridiculous intro. I just want to use the app, not answer a ton of questions every other week!!! Too much fluff, too little content.

As soon as you open the app, you get blasted with subscriptions that are weekly and are $90. Also, I wish this app had an actual free trial mode instead of a 7 day “free” trial so I didn’t have to potentially lose $90 on an app that I’m mildly interested in trying out. Also as a note: I work at a center (ARTCC), and I wanted to see if I could see if I could listen to frequencies that I work on a daily basis, but this app just has towers, it seems. Maybe in the future it’ll include us.

You don’t say an app is free on the App Store than in the app make you pay to use it at all. This is not right and if you want to make a paid app list it paid on the App Store. Seems like a good app based on the demo but 90$ per year for an ATC radio app is excessive.
“Free” not free
It may be free to download but it’s definitely not free to use. I know apps need to make money but that’s why many apps have ads. I’d rather have ads than pay $80 a year.
