Tried to send message to cancel immediately. When hitting submit, it kept saying captcha not ready and wouldn’t proceed with sending the message. You’re trapped with the app. I’m contacting bank to dispute of charges are applied!!!
Microsoft just wants your money
I have used Hotmail for free for over a decade. It was purchased by Microsoft and now runs as Outlook. Every time I try to sign in it asks me to use the authenticator app, which is an app with a reoccurring charge. It will show other ways to sign in like with a security number sent to your phone, but then it says, “unable to send a notification” or if you try your password it will say it’s incorrect, even though it’s not, or if it actually sends you a verification text code it will send you right back to a place where you need the app. They will constantly prompt you to use this app. They are clearly coercing people into paying for their app. Very frustrating. Can’t access my account even though I am using the same phone number and correct password. Going to have to change my email service.

I genuinely wanted to try the app out to see if it was worth it to prevent facebook and instagram scammers. So i used the 3 day trial. I kept trying to use it and copy and paste the 6 digit code it gave me and it never worked just kept getting a something went wrong try again message. By the morning of day three i went in and cancelled it and they still are trying to charge me for a year plan. So help me i will make sure i never even have a dollar in my account to assure they dont get my money, definitely not worth it.
Error Code 502 Apple ID log In
Can log into my $49 subscription on any of my Mac devices, iPad, iPhone, or MacBook Pro. I always get the message: “Response status code was unacceptable: 502.” Installed on all devises and tried again - nada!!! Nothing!!! waste of $49

I downloaded this app because I needed authentication for PayPal. You have to select the free trial or else they won’t let you use the app properly. I did and then they billed me $49.99 on the most expensive yearly subscription that I did not select. I filed for a refund with apple and it was labeled ineligible. Im so upset do not get this app or select the free trial.

This app is horrible and im not exaggerating. Ive used a 2SA code and its never worked. Ive tried back- ups and everything. Ive lost 2 of my accounts because if this. I just now gave it one last chance and I said “screw it” and payed the $50 and it still didnt work. I’ve gotten the dates correct and ive even contacted playstation ans they couldn’t do anything

Roblox issue with signing into accounts with 2FA enabled..

For 2 years, players have voiced concerns about losing access and even their accounts entirely, yet the problem persists without a reliable fix.
So secure you can’t get in
Attempting to sign in with password and it claims my password is incorrect. Go to help page and it freezes up saying connection was lost yet I have solid service with no other problems. No where can I find to reset password so I’m locked out even though I have my password. And no help available.

I used this app on my old iPhone. I have this connected to my Instagram for the last year or so. My phone ended up completely breaking where I couldn’t get into any of my apps or even unlock my phone. if you have Instagram, you know that you have to have a two factor authentication to login. So logging in on my new device is impossible because this app is on my old phone that I have no access to. It’s kind of screwed me over because I have business accounts attached to my Instagram and I have tried to reach out to Instagram but I haven’t gotten a response that’s gonna help me get into my accounts. It bothers me because I know that I have a lot out on social media that I now have zero access to be able to take down.. Very disappointing. Customer service if you’re reading this and you have anywhere that you can help me please do.

I have tried everything to obtain access to 2FA to apply to my app. No luck. No guidance. It’s simply been a waste of money. Any form of guidance after installation would have been helpful instead of me wasting so much time trying to set this app up. I requested a refund within 24 hours and was told no. No working app and no guidance and no guarantee!

app nonfunctional after switching to new phone
I recently switched to a new iPhone 16e (from iPhone 13). This Authenticator App is nonfunctional on my new phone. I am not able to Login; I repeatedly received an error message. When I tried deleting the app and reinstalling, I got a message asking if I wanted to Cancel my subscription---so clearly the app "knows” that I have a current subscription. I have reinstalled the app and continue getting the same error message. I have the latest operating system on my iphone 16e: iOS 18.5. And this app is the newest version since I just deleted and reinstalled. I am not using VPN. The date and time on my phone are correct.

Firstly, this app is collating as a Microsoft app, which is what I thought I was downloading. I was never able to get it work.
Secondly: Pay close attention to which subscription you are agreeing to, the listing boldly advertises an annual and monthly subscription but somehow I have ended up with a weekly subscription that is twice more than what you would pay if you choose monthly. It feels a bit scammy.
I don’t know how this is still in the App Store with so many people like me, feeling as though have been scammed.

After using this account to secure my Heroku account, I got locked out once I tried to login back in with my google account using google auth, it’s giving me:

It won’t scan the QR code to make things easy when you are trying to just get set up on your desk top so you have to do everything manually after downloading another app on your phone that you don’t want and it appears to want to keep charging you for things so it feels like an unnecessary scam.
Forced to use this app
I have a charity and get office for a generous non profit rate. Now however they are forcing me to use their Authenticator app for $45 a year. Ouch
