Fraud??
My dad passed away this week and I’m going through everything canceling his accounts and subscriptions. I see he has this Avira app on his iPhone which he doesn’t need. I look into it, he’s never used it but they’re taking $28 and some change out of his account every month. I’m trying to delete his account but Avira keeps telling me the session has expired. When I reload the page I get a notice the phone has been hacked and I have to fix it in two minutes or I guess the message will self destruct along with the phone..Then I try to log out and Avira won’t let me log out. I can’t figure out online how to contact them. These people look to me like another business that preys on elderly people.😡
Terrible
Clunky, horrible instructions. Difficult to find cancel subscription. I’ve had this app for an hour - my, god, it is clunky. I’m ready to uninstall NOW - total waste of money.

Not unlimited
Too costly. I upgraded and then it still stopped working and said I needed to pay more. I want a refund.
Garbage
No work on phones. Sells data to Facebook and Google. Useless
Charged for trial
Signed up for the free trial and was immediately charged for the full year. After signing up there is no way to contact Avira directly. In fact they make it impossible to.
Misleading
I wanted to try the free trial as the app or website claimed, instead I was charged.
Expensive garbage
This came with my new TP-Link router. It’s garbage and a money sink. The VPN cuts out and won’t automatically reconnect. Often. The rest is useless fluff.
Where is my subscription?!
I paid for subscription but didn’t get anything. Try to contact with you but results is null.
Terrible App. Lost ALL my passwords
Entered all my password into the app. Forgot my master password for the APP. It 100% wouldn’t allow me to reset it without losing all of my stored passwords. This will take me hours and hours to recover. This is crappy. Waste of time!!
Vpn never works
Time after time have to try and restart vpn on my iPad. Tp-link, pay attention … these folks have no real time solution!!

All useful features require subscription. Tried the image clean-up but Avira keeps crashing during scanning. Uninstalled, there are a lot of better options

Not impressed
Easy 2 button selection for privacy. Quick and easy scan found 4 “issues” that were mostly an upgrade come on. Deleting dupe fotos seems to be an all or nothing. The original and dupes are in separate groups. I couldn’t select dupes from different groups and delete those at one time. Not convenient.
Charges 45 days before due
I had an account and was fairly pleased with the introductory Cost. But 45 days before my subscription was to renew. The company submitted charges to my Apple Pay card. Due to the repeated attempts, apple automatically issued another card, which meant I had to go into other accounts and change the number.
When I called Acura, they explained what they did they did and turned off the automatic renewal, but two days later I got two more attempts to. And again,Apple sent an auto response to cancel my card again.
When I deleted my account on the website, I was unable to see if they actually deleted my card. This whole fiasco was a mess. It’s too bad. I won’t be using this product again.

It’s not really free to use
For most of the basic functions of the app, you need to get premium, it just tells you that you have problems but it doesn’t tell you which ones nor how to fix it
