No way dice rolls are random
Opponent gets exactly the roll they need every time. It’s crazy! I play other apps and this one is by far the least random. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying the opponent I’m playing only gets the rolls, I will too. If you want to play an app that makes you absolutely frustrated and want to throw your phone against the wall, this is the one.

Rolls are unrealistic
I was dominating a player before he rolled double 6’s three times in a row and lost. That has a probability of 1 in 46,656, and yet this game decided I had to lose no matter what. Don’t get me started with their blackjack on here…it’s a bad experience.

Tried to play this game for a few days to see if it was just a one time thing but it’s not. Game is rigged that magically the other player always gets the spin they need. I played over 50 games and every game was the same. Somehow they always get the magic number even if it’s a combination of 2 dices.
This game cheats to take your money
There is no “chance” about this game. Any opportunity this game gets it’s bots get the perfect roll of the dice. EVERY TIME. This is a fraud and I’m going to report it. I’ve recorded several hours of this.

I leave for a few months and come back to it and it’s worse each and every time. I played 7 games in 2 days and only was able to start first (white chips) 1 time!!! I’m still losing at the last minute while my opponent (bot?) gets perfect rolls. I’ve still given them no $$$ since I’ve managed to win a few and accumulate millions in the 12 years I’ve played.
11/2024…I just played my first and only game for today! I was so disgusted that I didn’t want to play another until I “cooled off”! I resigned close to the end because of the obvious cheat/fix…the last 8 rolls of this game, my opponent ROLLED DOUBLE SIXES…6 TIMES while I rolled a double five ONCE! I’ve played this game off and on since 2014, but I quit when it gets like this…and it gets like this frequently! It’s probably because I’m a strictly FREE player…in all these years I have given them NO MONEY!!! My longevity is based on the fact that I’m pretty good at the game IN SPITE OF THE “FIX”. My value to the game is that I am a very good player and make a good opponent to the people who pay to play…because they end up buying coins when they get broke. But 6 DOUBLE SIX rolls in 8 rolls is ridiculous especially using a Random Number Generator!!! Being a mathematics instructor, I know how an RNG works. An RNG would give you random rolls, so your BOT generating a prewritten developer’s response insults my mathematical knowledge AND my knowledge of the game! So……If you were thinking about downloading this one, remember that multiple players are saying the same thing! The other upset players just don’t generally write reviews!!! Don’t download this one! It’s created to push players to purchase coins! Whoever heard of dealer taking a % of your winnings in Backgammon??? In Backgammon, THERE IS NO DEALER!!!

I have logged the stats on these guys and this game. It is pure scam. The results are clear. The tactics are clear. DO NOT buy coins. If you enjoy playing there are other apps. If you like this game do not pay in. I will very shortly be filing against them. Probably won’t exist for much longer anyway
Game is totally rigged
I’ve been playing for years. I guess I hit the point when the dice rolls in my opponents favor because I don’t buy coins. I seem to loose every game at the last minute.

The game isn’t fun when the opponent rolls exactly what they need like clock work every time! They roll low when needed to capture you then high doubles when needed to bring their chips home. You can’t win even with strategy because it’s fixed. I’ll be uninstalling this app
Unfair rolls
I’ve played a lot of platforms searching for at least one that has a fair roll of the dice. SUch a disappointment. I love backgammon and this company take the fun out it all. Sad

Their reply to my review below (and to any other mentioning some games are fixed) is 100% a lie. Enjoy the app for what it is. Use their nice interface to play against human friends remotely. But use caution with your cash as you are 100% going to come up against bots when you think you’re playing humans.
Nice interface, setup, etc. Fun to play with friends. But I’ve noticed a LOT of bots in the allegedly multi-(human)-player games lately. I never pay for coins for this reason. Not sure why you would anyway, but people do

It’s a rigged game
Imagine playing a backgammon game with great graphics, a huge community, and regular fun updates…sounds great, right? Now imagine that game after game, you are playing well and have it in the bag, when in the last stretch there begins to be a delay in your opponent’s roll, after which they miraculously roll exactly the dice they would need to make an incredibly unlikely comeback. What happened? They have used a “blessing”, i.e. an in-game purchase which “blesses” them with an exceedingly “lucky” roll. Sounds frustrating, irritating, aggravating, right?
I wish they made a version of this without this “feature”, and with truly random dice rolls. The graphics etc. are well done and a lot of fun. Too bad the game itself is a farce.

Not Random
Been playing backgammon for the last 5+ decades of life. There is NO WAY that these are random rolls. When a higher level competitor needs double fours or EXACTLY a 6-3; they almost ALWAYS get it. It’s actually laughable! It happens so often - I count on it. Not real. Find a good backgammon club. This is nothing but losers controlling the algorithm. Cue the standard response.

When does the algorithm decide you’re just losing
Title says it all. I’m in a losing streak like you wouldn’t believe. Either the opponent rolls exactly what they need to block me in perpetually, or they hit consecutive doubles. Just had a match I was winning, all their chips were stacked on the five and six spots at the end. And then they pull out two double fives, a double three, double one, and double four to beat me by two points. That’s 64 moves in five rolls.

I was just way ahead in a game and the opponent rolled five double 5s and one double 6 in the last half of the game. The chances of doing this in one game is around 1 in 7 million. And they say they use a random generator for the dice… liars.

I never seen opponent get so many doubles in a row. Game is fixed. Played here WAY TO LONG TIME TO FIND ANOTHER SITE!

After playing almost 15000, Based on the my experience with rolls and inputs them into my AI application, and also the pattern of winning and losing, I am certain that rolls are not random. It is manipulated. If this manipulation is for the sake of getting more customers, you are definitely loosing them.

The amount of doubles rolled has ruin this game. I’ve had multiple games where opponents have rolled doubles 6+ times.

The rolls of the die are obviously fixed for certain outcomes. Since they take money, is gambling, and should be illegal

Very blatantly rigged with lots of bots. The daily spin is also rigged. I’ve spun over 200 times and never landed on the top prize, which should be around 5% chance to get on any given spin. Do yourself a favor and play on a better app.

I love the game…but noticed that once you build up your coins your opponents STRANGELY start getting doubles over and over. At the same time you NEVER get doubles and consistently roll very low numbers. I built up 50k coins and dropped to almost nothing in a couple days. Very frustrating.

Support Person Doesn’t Know Rules; Unfairness Abounds
Chiefly, C2P needs to prevent strategic quitting. Often, if a player is at risk of losing by gammon and decides to quit, they only lose a single game. On the other side, if a player quits with checkers on the bar, they are likely to lose by backgammon, even if it is impossible. Support has simply assured me that their algorithm is good and that I don’t need to worry. Ok, so explain why GNU or XG or whichever bot you like rates backgammons for the position at 0%! C’mon come2play.
Second, which is possibly more understandable but a bigger problem, is how the app will freeze or lose connection when my connection is good. If you contact support, the best they will do is give your coins back.
Finally, the game is not supposed to begin with doubles. This nicely evens out some of the advantage of going first. C2P forgot about that part.

Don’t spend money - it will ID you as a cash cow and manipulate gameplay to get you to spend more.
Once this app detects you spend money, it will do extremely manipulative things that defy all odds to make you lose so you’ll spend more. After you purchase coins, you’ll suddenly have 5, 6, 7 or more consecutive games where the rolls render strategy irrelevant - quite literally there can be only 1 possible roll to benefit or hurt you and it will repeatedly yield that result to ensure you lose. It’s insane and after playing 1500+ games and both spending money and going stretches where I don’t, I’m 100% certain the system is rigged to do this. This does not happen when you go a steerch without purchasing and keep your coin count low.

You think you’re playing other people but after a while you can predict the dice. The other player gets way more big doubles and you seem to be stuck on 1-2 or 1-3. I’ve played backgammon since childhood and although ppl can get lucky, I’ve never seen anyone roll 6 doubles in a row. 😂 if you play for free you’ll always be stuck playing the lower levels and you’ll never finish any extras, you’re also stuck playing the slower paced games. I’m gonna delete. Why waste my gigabits?
