Do NOT download. The cost has gotten out of hand. It’s not worth it.

Now they want to increase the monthly rate on me by 35%! It was great while it lasted but im officially giving deuces to back then. Not woth the price when they do whatever they want with your photos and videos. Some get saved some do not.
Price is too much
The price of this app has gone up so much in the last two years. I think it’s too much for what it is now.
Crappy Unreliable App
Don’t use this app. If you want to trust an app that’ll actually upload your photos and not lose them, DO NOT USE THIS APP. I uploaded so many photos only to get noticed 2 days later that the photos never uploaded and it won’t show me which photos they are so I lost 200 plus photos of my son.
Zero support
Loved the app until it became glitchy and stopped uploading. Wrote repeated emails to support with zero response. Tried to fix it myself but accidentally deleted something. Ten emails later zero response. I also tried emailing the founders. Don’t think anyone is home. I will be migrating to an app that actually has support
Still waiting for an annual subscription
It’s been over a year or so since this app was bought - changed from LifeCake to Back Then… waiting for an annual subscription option again.
Also, looks like they’ve added some sort of advertising on the app - the newly introduced “announcements section” is just code for ads?? Asking me if I want to test my kids DNA. Hard Pass. I pay for privacy, I pay for no ads.

Photos disappear and no customer service
I’ve been using this app since it was switched from Life Cake. I really liked the app for a long time, and would have rated it 5 stars. I noticed some of my pictures disappeared off of the app. I emailed customer service 3 times in the past month, and have received no response! There’s no phone number, and other no way to get help for issues. I put a lot of time in over the years uploading photos to the app, and I’m so upset.
New update = All photos gone.
Imagine my surprise when I open the app and ALL my photos are gone. I am so upset!!
Use Google Photos.
Had this app when it was free (believe it was life cake) however after it’s been bought and turned into a subscription we stopped using it as much. We now use Google photos which is waaaay better and easier and FREE.
Don’t buy into their marketing.
Hope more people will get this and stop using this app.

The app no longer opens, crashes nonstop. I can only access via the web now. The app seems to be useless

Too much communication!
I absolutely adore it when I hear the ping on my phone (or see a number pop up next the Back Then app) alerting me that there is activity on my precious niece’s baby! However, the constant email alerts are annoying. Thanks !
