I’ve been a signed model for years in multiple different markets and have so many plus size friends who have also been in the market for years and they have all applied to beautypass like 2/3 years ago just like me and none of us have gotten accepted but so many of my skinnier model friends got accepted immediately and it just seems funny that even though i have lost the weight and am now considered a “skinny” model, i still haven’t been accepted even when i’ve been signed to Los angeles, Miami, and Italy to big agencies as well. The app is fatphobic. if they weren’t, we would see some “bigger” models on the app using it as well but clearly there’s a reason you don’t. it’s ridiculous.

No response
I’ve waited two years as a signed model and I have friends with smaller agencies that heard back immediately. I’m now signed to a larger one and have asked to re-submit my application at least but no one responds. I’d love to help out businesses as it’s a really cool model but for some reason no one responds when someone is signed. It’s super frustrating.

premium member since the membership option came out. However recently my account got blocked for posting late, I resolved the issue immediately and followed the instructions they gave to reactivate my account. It’s been 2 weeks now I have attempted to contact support over 7 times now and I am still getting no response from them. This is absolutely unacceptable considering I’m paying for a membership that’s supposed to give me immediate support and assistance. If you’re thinking about getting premium, don’t get it because the customer support won’t help you.

App took my info but won’t let me log in
The application took my photos and all my info and then says my account doesn’t exist and won’t let me log in. I wasted time filling everything out. Please delete my data since you won’t let me log in
Not diverse
I fully completed one restaurant with flying colors. I applied to another restaurant just when I get there to log into my account they disabled it!! There’s no way to get in contact through email or dms they will not respond back. They seem to have the same stereotypical looking models on their pages anyway. DO BETTER!!
Don’t bother applying bc they may not ever answer
I applied about 3 months ago, still no answer and no one answers IG messages or emails… at least tell me if I wasn’t accepted lol

I tried to create an account with my Instagram and is not letting me ! Is saying my Instagram is already in use but I don’t have another account !
A scam
My application has been in “review” for almost a year and half. I messaged them on Instagram, only for them to read and IGNORE my first 3 messages. They have zero point of contact and are incredibly rude and NOT helpful in anyway. I’m a signed model and am given zero answers on why my applications has been in review for over a year now. Unacceptable
Rip off
Barely any vendors, and overall not a good deal for models. App is the same as it was years ago and it’s never updated. There could be such a better deal for models and influencers, but there is not.

It’s not a vibe. Downloaded it and it just feels weird like take advantage and not so much help a business kind of weird. I’ll admit I was joining because I had done amateur modeling in the past and wanted to start this up again but upon seeing this app I’m not interested taking this route especially if shop owners are at their wits end and I actually want to do the real service exchange of it all but they assume I’m bad news like the rest of the entitled influencers. There should be a mandatory compensation to the shops, model can be discounted but it shouldn’t be free. Even if model doesn’t show up, no call no show to the appointment there should still be a fee. There should still be respect towards shop owners. Here is my review. I’m now removing the app. Have some respect guys, for yourself and for the opposite party. Don’t take advantage of each other like this. Nothing is free in this world. Make it fair, what I’m seeing is not fair it favors only one party and it takes two to tango so.

Highly not recommend
This app is a WASTE of time for businesses! Models with a bunch of fake followers can’t even post a decent video/reel in their stories to promote your service. I own a high end nail studio, most of the models were coming with horrible nails and were leaving with perfectly done manicure that lasts up to 4 weeks.
Most models couldn’t even leave suggested tip (which is less than 50% off the value)
Most of them wanted to come back and been asking if they can use beauty pass discount again!
All that I got from this experience is a headache and 1-2 followers from each of these models.
Beauty pass don’t control if models actually do a decent stories to promote your business.

Business Owners Beware
If you are a model, this is a great platform to receive free and discounted services without any responsibility or reprimand for failing to deliver on content or agreed upon exchange. For business owners, this is an absolutely PASS - you will waste time on no shows and young girls that feel entitled to free services with no follow through. The very first model I worked with came for beauty service, and never posted on social media, never followed up with photos, etc. The owner of BeautyPass promised she would be banned if she did not turn around content and post, but then continued to ghost me when there was no follow up from model. The next two models booked, demanded to be seen on days that I was not offering the free service, and then no-showed. Again, no compensation and no follow up with BeautyPass. A year went by, and I decided to try them out again - now there are both free and paid options for business owners. The owner and her team gave me a huge runaround; I kept submitting and resubmitting my new offer, until I finally gave up trying. I am all about exposure and exchange, and I have had very good success with models that did not come from BeautyPass. However, this idea that these young girls feel “entitled” because they have a following (and usually a smaller following than I already personally have on social media) disgusts me. BeautyPass encourages this, and the only response to these issues I have ever received from owner: It’s my responsibility to take photos and content before the model leaves, so I’m not left empty handed when they don’t follow through. As a spray tan artist, content is only worthwhile 24 hours later after tan has developed, and you can clearly tell by owner’s response that I am clearly not the only person who has had issues with these models. I have a friend in the same city, same line of work, and she’s completely over it too. So again, if you are a model with zero respect for businesses and feel entitled to free services, this is the perfect app for you. If you are a legitimate business owner who values their time and have any self respect, you will avoid collaborating with BeautyPass.
Fake
I’ve submitted 2 applications now over a month ago and never heard back, not even so much as an email confirmation that my application was received. SCAM.
WONT ALLOW CURVE MODELS
Pretty disappointed that this app doesn’t accept plus size models. I am with IMG world wide. One of the top agency’s in the world. And because I am a curve model I am denied. It’s gross. Who do they think they are.
Still pending a year later?
I have a following of 40k, music artist, professional dancer and model who’s worked with big brands already. Ive been waitlisted for a year now and messaged them on IG to ask how it usually works or how long the wait time is… they have not responded but their IG liked some of my content which I found even more odd and disrespectful.
Such a shame
The idea of this app is so smart and it can be so successful but the bugs on the app don’t allow it to be functional. After having a reservation, the swipe button to check in was never functional, which would cause me to either lose the credit or have to get help with their support to check into the restaurant every single time. The app also often doesn’t load correctly. Beautypass seriously needs to work on the functionality of their app because it’s all over the place.
Modification error
I’ve been trying to modify my agency’s information and I can’t because the first time was linked to my Instagram and I sent a dm and nothing. I really want to use the app it looks cool but im not able to put my new agency’s information because you are still reviewing my application it’s been months probably more then 4 months by now
Where’s the customer service????
This review is about how they don’t respond to any email or dm on IG. If I have a problem with the app it says leave them a message on the site and it should send them an email. I’ve gotten no response for weeks. They blatantly ignore me and several other on IG as well. Cool app but terrible customer service. How do they expect us to get ahold of them??
