My daughter fell for the “3 day free trial if you sign up for an annual plan” trap…AGAIN. They apparently signed up earlier this year, forgot to cancel, and I got charged. I got the charges reversed because she didn’t want the services anymore. Months later, she got the free trial offer again, so she signed up thinking she wouldn’t be charged. My card was immediately charged. Please be aware (and let your teenagers know) you will be charged even if the stupid ad says otherwise IF YOU HAVE ALREADY SIGNED UP FOR A FREE TRIAL IN THE PAST. This is highly unacceptable behavior for the App Store, find an app that doesn’t rely on forgetful/ignorant people/kids to make money!!
misleading app
I was offered a 3 day trial for the Pro benefits and when I clicked a button to accept this, I discovered I was charged $60 for a yearly membership with no way to get a refund. Misleading and upsetting.

If the app is 9+ then most likely children will download the app then since children don’t have money all the time or mostly then we can’t take pictures because of that. Even the 7 day free trial cannot be bought because everyone doesn’t have money like that.

Unable to use active paid subscription after I upgraded my phone from android to apple
My Issue was not resolved. I have an active paid subscription in my android phone that I am not able to use with my new apple phone. I upgraded my phone and cannot use it anymore. Terrible process where i am not able to log into my account from android to new apple phone. Solution was to pay for another subscription. Not acceptable solution. Disappointed with this app/ company/ customer service.

Signed up for a three day “free trial” just to see that I was charged $47.99. Made a refund request and was denied. Reached out to the customer support and was told they could not help me. This is completely illegal and I will be taking action.

I downloaded this app as a free trial. It didn’t do what I wanted it to do, so I cancelled the subscription without a few minutes of download. They charged me anyway.

I selected to try the 3 day FREE trial and my card was instantly charged for a YEAR SUBSCRIPTION. I have video proof (screen recording) you can see I selected the 3 day free trial and yet immediately my card was charged. I looked for an email but this apps support didn't show one so at least I can warn others while I reach out to apple. Unacceptable.
Worst app ever
OK, I got this app and I was using it for months and I loved it but then it kept saying that I had a virus and then I told my grandma about it and she said it was a virus told me to immediately deleted it. This game is trying to give me a virus so I just deleted it permanently. Don’t get this app. It’s horrible. Stopped working

I selected the 3 free day trial, before I double clicked it said 0.00 would be charged today, then all of a sudden it’s trying to charge me $64.19! For what! I didn’t request a subscription! That’s a scam! I canceled the subscription not even 12 hours of having selected 3 free day trial. That’s very misleading and scam activity! To this day I still can’t download apps because that charge is still pending trying to charge me for it! Scam!

I’ve had this app for a year. I pay for it yearly. I use it almost daily. Well it renewed today for the year, took my $50 and now nothing in the app works. I’ve tried uninstalling/installing again and still nothing. I tried reaching out to the customer service, no response. This is beyond frustrating. It’s telling me I have no subscription and telling me there’s an error. This is ridiculous. Just take peoples money.

I pay for the yearly subscription and I get a ton of ads now after I take one photo. What’s the point of me paying $50 if I get an ad after every picture? It’s not even worth taking photos on here anymore. Going to cancel my subscription.

This app used to be amazing. Now literally 1% of all the features are free to use, forcing people to pay nearly $100 a year for the rest of the 99%. Greed wins the day again. It was fun while it lasted. Shame on all greedy developers. ZERO STARS

Buyer Beware - Charged $63.59 After Canceling “Free Trial” Within Minutes!
I am writing regarding a $63.59 charge for the BeautyPlus app subscription.
I downloaded the app and enrolled in what was advertised as a free trial. After reviewing the app for approximately five minutes, I decided it was not for me and immediately canceled the subscription. Despite canceling right away and not using the service, I was still charged the full annual subscription fee!
I contacted Apple Support and spoke with two advisors, including a senior advisor. Both confirmed that I canceled promptly. However, my refund request was denied without explanation, due to the bad ethics of this Beauty Plus app company, and I was advised that I could file a formal report regarding this poor app company, which I did!
As the owner of an international PR firm, I find this situation to be extremely poor public relations. Charging customers after they cancel a free trial almost immediately - without clear and transparent communication - damages trust and reflects poorly on the company.
I canceled immediately, did not use the service, and requested a full refund. The denial of that refund is both disappointing and concerning.

I really dislike that advertisements pop up in the middle of taking photos. It interrupts the process and takes too long for the app to return to normal. This needs improvement.
Everyone’s face but mine
Not sure how you are not detecting my face. I’m standing in a row with 2 people on my left and 3 people on my right. We are all front facing. My image is the clearest. You are able to detect every face except mine. There is nothing behind me. The others have balloons behind them! Tried several times with multiple shots taken with the same group (only had minor changes in pose). So disappointed.

I used to love this app. Used it for many man year. Now they’re charging for every feature. They’re just another one of those wealthy businesses taking joy away from their loyal consumers now.
Getting Greedy
I’ve had this app since 2017. You never had to pay to use certain features, and they didn’t use AI. Now, it’s confusing and they shove the premium membership down your throat. They have great features, I just don’t understand why they were free for 8 years, and now you guys decide to be greedy. Gross.

This game was fun till it wasn’t. Every time I did the eraser effect it wouldn’t allow me too unless I signed up for something. I did NOT like that. I also had several other effects that just wouldn’t work. I wish they wouldn’t make you pay for some of these cool effects. I am not allowed to pay for stuff or get a free trial without permission and my parents don’t do that so please allow some things to be free. 🙄🥺🙏
