Too many ads
You can’t do one thing without an ad and they’re never an exit even after the ad runs the duration
If you like losing…
This game is perfect for people who enjoy losing over and over again. Also, if you do win a 3 min boost the game starts the timer immediately but the game will not allow you to use the boost until their “graphic show” is completed. Leaving you with only 1.5 mins left of a 3 min boost you haven’t even used yet.

Best fiends is a fine game with an okay concept it’s just that instead of being relaxing, it’s just really stressful. Like in some rounds the game wants you to lose so bad and does everything in its power to try and make that happen that instead of just being fun and chill it’s just kind of like I want to delete this from my phone and never download it again asap. Not to mention that there are so many pop-ups like just let me play the freaking game PLEASE. Literally this close to deleting this game forever and going to therapy because it is so stressful
Deceptive
This game hooks you in the beginning and when you reach a certain level you never have enough plays awarded to you to win the round. You actually have to spend money to be able to get several additional plays to win the level. If you don’t spend the money, you have to play the same level many times before the game lets you win. So, like so many other things these days, the game is a scam. It’s all about being willing to spend money!

App tells me to update every time it’s opened. No update available in App Store.

Game was sold to another company
Disappointed. Played this game for years and loved it at first because it was a perfect game to pass the time during plane rides and road trips. The May 2026 update now requires players to have an internet connection at all times in order to play - spamming you with advertisements and micro transactions. I no longer recommend this game.
This app is not working
I like to listen to music or audio books. To even think about getting ahead you have to endure the loud sounds from ADS! Most ads now require you to listen. There is no “silent button”
Sold our data to Isr**l
Played this game for over a decade until they sold it to Isr*el along along with all my data. Severe disappointment.
Why did they do this?
Before being sold off to PlayTika, Seriously took the game, well, seriously. I have been playing this game since 2016 and when I hopped back on this year, I was disgusted at the new game, sure the gameplay is somewhat similar, but looking at the “art” it looks too weird and AI generated, let alone if you take a look at the previews above and compare it to the actual game, it is obvious that PlayTika has changed the game into a cash grab. It disgusts me how PlayTika went back on their words of independent development and ruined Best Fiends. I hope PlayTika rethinks their choices. I won’t come back until Best Fiends is brought Justice.

It’s all a scam
This game purposefully doesn’t let you complete levels until the game wants you to complete a level. The game is clearly fishing for you to feel compelled to dump money into it to progress. Could be a good game if it weren’t for greed.
Game won’t load
I played this game for more than a year, and now it won’t load at all, I would love to be able to play it again
Rewards disappearing
Don’t bother trying to compete challenges. I completed the entire album and was supposed to get 75 minutes of mega blast as a reward. Timer ran out after only 15 minutes. Why bother?
Ridden with ads
Too ma y ads! They don’t close and they open apps like Amazon. So intrusive!

I haven't played in a while and was going to play today my progress had been saved up till that point. Now I go to play and it sets me back to level 1, from WELL OVER 1000!!! I was pretty far. What gives? I'm not happy about that and now gonna have to delete (yet another) the game even even though I've been playing for a couple of years now

The game isn’t fun if levels are impossible to beat
The title says it all: the game isn’t fun if the levels are impossible to beat. I get that the point is to force us to use/buy gold but I refuse to pay to play a game. Uninstalling is so much easier and that’s what’s about to happen because lately it’s taken days to beat a single level. The game is no longer fun.
Fun at first
This is such a fun game in design, but it’s very much designed against veteran players.
I’m fine with ads, I can just put my phone down and do something else. I’m fine with playing levels multiple times - a bit of challenge makes things fun.
What’s frustrating are specifically the events, which would be awesome IF they weren’t completely unbeatable at higher levels without buying power ups. When I started playing, events were just hard enough to be satisfying when you beat them and got your reward, but at level 1000? I know every three day event is going to be too short - every special reward I would need to beat it will be too hard to get, but it will be carefully designed so that I’m *so close,* if I just bought ONE power up, I could beat it!!
It’s deeply frustrating, especially because it will work on a lot of you. They’ll get their money, to h*ll with anyone who actually enjoys the game enough to put in real time playing it.
I’m not quite ready to put it down yet, but I will be soon - there’s no point playing if I can’t collect characters, which is my favorite part, and events are already becoming actively demotivating because I know they’ll just leave me frustrated and discouraged instead of successful.
And I’m *definitely* never giving this app actual money in exchange for squeezing its users this greedily - I really hope no one reading this will either.

The advertisements are out of control
In order to get anywhere you have to watch ads. The ads like the “I don’t have my tip” ad are 2 minutes long. It didn’t use to be this horrible - don’t waste your time
No progress, no fun
I kept getting stuck on levels due to the drop rng and finally just gave up. Another one bites the dust

They decide if you win a board or not. Strategy or game play doesn’t matter!!!!!! You cannot win a board if they don’t let you!!!!! Cheating board!! Very disappointed
I have been playing this game for years. 98% of the time it’s very fun and enjoyable. However lately there had been some glitches and I have tried to get in touch with the tech people and instead of helping me out they pretty much tell me it’s my fault for not taking screenshots when a problem occurs. I obviously don’t know they are going to happen so how on earth can I do that. Thanks for absolutely being no help especially after I’ve spent actual money and then get told your faulty game is my problem guess your right don’t waste your time or money on this game
Rewards nerfed as greed sets in.
iOS systems get ridiculously looooong no ads commercials. Those are the worse. Don’t waste your time. Just skip commercials. New players have become their focus because the veterans know how much they have taken away in rewards and raised prices. Less for the same $. This game once upon a time…..made you feel like you got your money’s worth buying packets. Wrote feedback a few times and you always get a patronizing response…..if those responses were toilet paper, it would be good for something. Play and never buy. You will be happier.

There are levels that are easy and fun, and then there are levels that the only way to win it is to have incredible luck or have power ups. Power ups don’t generally come easily, which is when it becomes a pay to play. I’m not a fan of the game in later levels, but the first 50 or so are pretty relaxing. It wasn’t a complete waste of time, but the replayability and the unreal number of ads just wasn’t worth what fun the game provided.
It’s cute but stupid
Some of the levels I can’t even beat because they’re really too hard but some level just give me a free win so thank you for the free ones but you’re kind of stupid making some of the levels kind of impossible and yeah, guys are cute except the guy you start with that has the yellow blocks. It’s just really stupid how some of the levels are literally impossible for me impossible and yeah, you heard that it’s literally just really really really cute but really really really stupid it’s basically really cute mixed with really stupid and the boss fights. I need literally every single power for the boss fights to beat so yeah whoever made this game out I would look at you then I will karate chop you in your break your arm.
pop ups
i am becoming super annoyed with getting timed gifts to use in games just for the pop ups to take up half of the time in which i can use the power-up gifted to me. i’m on level 1396 and have been playing this game for YEARS, and yet this issue is still annoying me. PLEASE either make every pop up immediately skippable OR make the gifted power-ups a certain amount of uses rather than certain amount of time.
Not much fun to play anymore
This game used to be a lot of fun but now they “allow” you to win a game or two before making you lose in order for you to pay or use gold for extra moves. It’s just boring.
fun game but progress lost
i just lost all of my progress because the app will not link to my facebook. i have done everything i can think of to fix it but nothing works. the game is so fun but i am not too happy with what’s going on.

Basic game, it has so many windows you need to close before playing each time you open the game. Is actually ridiculous.

The never ending ads is annoying, and they take up the time of any of the bonuses you get.
Money grab
The gameplay itself is fun, but you have to jump through multiple hoops to play the game. You’re bombarded with multiple ads to buy power ups, watch ads for advantages, etc. before you can play a round - sometimes 6 or more times in a row. The power ups are frustrating, too. Sure the game will give you occasional power ups, but them will force you to sit through ads and cut scenes that can’t be skipped - all while your power up timer is counting down. You’ll be lucky to play more than one level with a power up because the game burns so much time between levels. Lastly, the power up timer is inconsistent. A 3 minute power up isn’t really 3 minutes. The timer skips seconds as it’s counting down. I literally watched the timer drop from 6 seconds to 3 seconds consecutively. This is exactly why I won’t “pay to play”. If the game played by the rules, I probably would make in app purchases. There’s no way I’ll spend a dime on it in its current state.

Yep, I’m playing on an older version now (3.1.0 to be exact) and none of your updates can harm my life now :)
