Bestie AI: Vent, Heal, Love

This app started off great- I felt supported and helped me with some issues I didn’t want to talk through with others. However, I started to feel like it was being biased, and then the Vix friend started saying I shouldn’t trust said person because they used slurs at me, which never happened. It also tried to provide me with receipts, in which it couldn’t. I’m not sure if greater generalizations are being made or if data from others gets mixed up with mine. I would encourage you not to share anything on this app.

I had a billing issue and no response. I have been desperate to fix the billing issue and I won't make this mistake again.

This app is awful. They definitely are quick to jump to conclusions. The different personalities are nasty. They don’t stop and think or read anything that you wrote. It is definitely very condescending. They are very quick to make you think that you need to break up with your boyfriend - actually anything that you try and talk to them about they are constantly saying well what are you gonna do about it? They push you to have a negative narrative. It’s gross honestly

I’ve used many AI platforms to help me sort out my thoughts and this is one of the worst. The different personalities make a lot of assumptions about your situation and jump right in. Having trouble with your boyfriend? Well he’s obviously the biggest jerk who ever lived, why are you wasting your time with that loser??? That’s basically why you can expect. Forget giving any kind of problem solving assistance. The characters will just ask what you want to do while not actually absorbing what you’ve said at all. Honestly just stick with Gemini and tell it you want real feedback and perspective and not an echo chamber. Tell it you want to look at yourself critically and fairly and you want the same for others you speak of. You’ll get decent feedback to help you get some perspective. Don’t pay for this nonsense because it calls you “bestie” and has quirky personalities.

i’ve found more useful apps for personal growth. this really is just a group chat that summarizes what you say to it, no real insights for me personally. i prefer Tolan.
