This was free to export contacts and that is why I started using it. Now they want me to pay $79 to export! They don’t even offer a monthly plan. If you download this app be sure to use zapier to connect your contacts to a google sheet before scanning any cards. Seems to work okay except for business cards that are lengthwise.
Way too long
This app used to be good/great but has worsened over the years. Once I paid for the yearly subscription, it’s gone downhill since. It typically takes 24 hours, if not longer to translate a card rendering this app useless in most instances. If you reach out to support, you’ll receive the same template answers each time.
Not Viable
While accuracy is critical, the time required for this application renders it commercially unviable. After a promising initial test with one card, I purchased the full-year service and uploaded 26 additional cards-only to find they’ve been “processing” the entire business day. As the day ends, the impracticality of this delay is glaring.
Slow and doesn’t work! And now can’t export to Excel!
I started uploading cards over two hours ago and only six have been verified out of over 80. This is a complete waste of my time because it doesn’t work and I paid $10 for nothing. Now I have to start over on a different app because I need to export these to Excel today. The chat agent keeps telling me they will verify soon… waiting over two hours is not soon! Took all night for cards to verify and now I have been exporting to Excel and Google today but nothing happens. Did my first export almost 3 hours ago and no emailed file!!
Frustrating - find another option
First, the good: the app is easy and makes quick work of scanning a stack of business cards. I like the being able create groups that my scanned cards belong to. Now the bad and why I can't recommend this app: every single time I scan cards it takes at least 24 hours or more before they are processed so I can export the data to a spreadsheet. Each time, I have to ask support for help more than once before the data is finally exportable and usable. I really wanted to give a high rating but when my annual subscription is done, I won’t renew. What good is great scanning if I can't access the data in a timely manner?
App Stalls Out Easily
App stalled out at 24 verified contacts. Doesn’t work, had 3 friends with same issue.
Scam app / do not use you can’t delete account
This app is terrible and the customer service is a joke. It’s AI chatbot that was trying to tell me everything was my fault because I signed into my other account. I only have 1 account and had it for only 15 mins. Then when you try to delete your account it won’t delete it.
Paid version
It does not work reliable - the 1st time I used it was AMAZING!!! Scanned the card and it uploaded to my gmail with the label biz connect … then it never worked again I prolly spent 3 or more hours scanning testing and trying customer service did so tho g it worked for an hour then never again … so abandoned the whole thing
Beware, developer sells data from scanned cards!
Careful using this app. The developer appears to keep all the business card information so they can use it to sell. To test I scanned in a fake business card with a new temp email address. Within a day of scanning in the card the email address started receiving spam marketing emails to the fake name I put in the card. Glad I tested it before uploading client information.
Fraudulently Charges your Card
I would give this app 0 stars if I could. I signed up for a 7 day free trial and was immediately (within 5 minutes) notified that I was charged $80 for the download. Since then I have been in touch with representatives to try and fix the problem, unfortunately no one has responded to me in over a month (I have tried by email and on the support chat in the app itself). If you don’t like this app or need help, don’t expect any response from the support team. They will also continue to charge your card.
App keeps crashing
I cannot scan in batch mode. The app crashes and shuts down. I lost a bunch of cards I scanned
