questionable
listen I love this guy's videos and information online so I bought this app but first of all you have to pay additional money on top of the app price just to get a card counting trainer add-on which is very misleading bc the app doesn't actually train you to do anything it just deals blackjack and tells you if you didn't use perfect basic strategy which you can look at a chart and do for free and on top of that this is hands-down the worst black jacket no matter how you play you will lose almost every single hand no matter what which is not how it really works in real life... I don't believe this is actual true RNG I think it's set up to make you lose intentionally for some reason rather than being random like it is when you really play cards...
App doesn’t have the tools to teach you anything
The only saving grace is that it does hold a true count and running count while you play so you can get some idea of how to understand it, but rather than teaching in app and having game modes or in-app videos, they literally just link you to a YouTube video (that all throw a video config error so you can’t even be redirected) and expect you to figure it out there. There should be an in app explanation, I shouldn’t have to go to YouTube for an app I paid $5 for. I paid money expecting to have it all easily accessible in one place, otherwise this app is no good than any other free app that offers the same basic gameplay functionality. Feels very lazy and like a waste of money.

Update, since dev responded. :
The main problem is that this app is NOT advertised directly as a ‘trainer for previously taught counters’ but a trainer and ‘TEACHER’ as the description of the app says. You don’t train a dog to pee outside, but expect them to know how to get to their designated pee spot beforehand without previous experience. Just like you don’t teach calculus to students who haven’t learned algebra yet. The verbiage of your app description IS misleading. Sure, you could argue that counting cards properly requires or justifies paid training well above $5 but your app description is HORRIBLE and super misleading. The only thing your app may have over others is the slight possibility that it has a better algorithm for RNG which is impossible to determine without seeing the actual code. Otherwise, it’s not difficult or unique to be able to set a +1 -1 or 0 counter from a RNG based on a card draw.
Here’s some examples from your app description:
“Perhaps you just watched ….. next level.” - implies that amateur or complete beginners can use this app to learn
“We TEACH you step-by-step INSTRUCTION…” -literally saying teach and instruction, but in responses say it’s not a teacher nor provides any instruction
“Authority on teaching you how to play blackjack like the pros” - like, come on.
You are grasping at straws to justify future purchases and redirect to your website for alternative ‘pay-to-get rich’ schemes just like any stock bro. Call the app what it is and stop misleading. It’s a blackjack app with an unlimited bank roll and the ability to see a live count in the corner, but provides 0 aspect of teaching or training in app.

Worst Blackjack game
I have played a lot of blackjack games but none that were so one sided as this one. I hated playing it. Not realistic at all.
Not so good
Doesn’t teach you how to count. How would I get my money back?
Incomplete
Running count has no correlation to what is in deck
Horrible app ‼️‼️
This is terrible app I wish I could get my money back for it idk why I purchased it , i does not teach you anything at all you just play play jack and they call it training I need a refund somehow ‼️‼️‼️‼️
Thought I was getting a explanation or something
I didn’t know it was just some notification saying what they suggested on. I thought it was going to explain very play if what is statically accurate to split, hit, stand, and double.. I would see a refund would be nice
Flawed
Running count is wrong im playing 2 hands, i got 7,5 jack,2 and dealer is showing 5 but its saying running count is 0
Not friendly
No sound, does not gamify the process of learning counting- boring, bland, not intuitive- even after you pay, one mode is still pay walled
Great. Another forced review.
App will not leave you alone until you give it a review. While I enjoy the app and I am having fun using it I don’t like being forced. Don’t RAPE me for reviews.
Complete garbage
Do not waste your money. There are other apps way more effective and realistic
Dealer is Amazing
My dealer is so lucky he currently hasn’t busted in 21 hands
Bare bones
For a premium app, it has a lot of missing features and feels very bare bones. With only links to YouTube vids on how to count cards besides telling what to play on certain hands. I feel somewhat cheated by this app. It will only correct you on misplayed hands yet most of the time when I follow said “help” I lose the hands more often than not. Very underwhelming experience.
Bet higher & LOSE
I did okay but every time I bet higher, the dealer “magically” gets a blackjack or 20, sometimes three in a row! I deleted this app, it appears rigged. Waste of time.
Eh
Doesn’t teach you how to count cards but shows you basic strategies
Wrong and slow
The rules are wrong and can't be fixed through customization. The delay between hands is annoyingly slow even when deal speed is maxed. Buy a different blackjack app.
Training- Not Counting Card
Training- Not Counting Card
Good idea
Editing my original review. You can learn how to count but the decks aren’t correct. For example I’ve practiced double deck with over 12 2’s in the deck. Had a true count of 10 and increased my bet only to get more 2’s than there are in double deck. Really frustrating and makes me not want to use the app to play correctly. If developers can fix this bug it would be a 5 star app easy.
Bait & Switch
Really not worth 1.99. They get you to subscribe then want to charge you more for counting tool. I’m sure there are free apps that offer the same and more. Don’t waste your money like I did.
Weak
The training is ok. No single deck. Dealer gets bj and 21 10x as many times as player. Just like Vegas. Don’t buy.
Good App, Poor Mechanics
This is a good app don’t get me wrong, helpful for beginners. It is simply just not worth $5. Once I bought the app, the most helpful feature was speed counting practice, but guess what? I HAD TO PAY FOR IT after paying to even download the app. Your $5 just lets you play fake blackjack and gives you a counter on the side, which yeah is helpful when trying to learn to count. But accessibility is poor (can’t check count in between hands to double check if I am on track or not) and it is just overwhelmingly underdeveloped and in this day and age, $5 is such an overrated price for a simulation with like 3 features. $2 at best (Including ALL features).
User friendly?
Not very user friendly. The cards are dealt, but it appears only 1 of 2 decks are used? Again, it isn’t completely user friendly.
Bias in shuffling algorithm leads to unnatural outcomes
After tracking statistics over 10,000 hands dealt and calculating likelihoods for losing streaks, dealer card supremacy, and lack of winning streak for the player, I can say that the variance is four or five standard deviations from the mean on all of these fronts. If it was just me and it was a few hundred or a couple thousand hands I would just write it off as a fluke, but it’s over 10,000 hands now and the reviews are full of people experiencing this behavior.
Card shuffling is hard. Developers talk about random number generators but that’s one of the least relevant factors in how bias shows up in computer blackjack. The most basic algorithm has a built in bias due to the pigeonhole principle. The correct algorithm produces completely random sequences from one of the 52! permutations of possible card orderings but is nothing like how cards are shuffled in real life and is unnatural. This leads to all kinds of sequences you are almost never likely to see in real life play at a casino.
Then there’s how shoe shuffling works and what happens at the end of the shoe. Does a brand new set of cards get initialized and then shuffled or does it used the shoe that was just dealt and shuffle it? Think about what happens in real life when cards slowly develop a patterned ordering based on play and then have sequences that still remain in a loosely ordered fashion after a shuffle. The defaco shuffling algorithm destroys all of that and pulls another random sequence from the giant 52! state space.
The developer may write off my review like others where what I’ve experienced is blamed on variance. But I hope others that see this feel validated about their own experiences and complaints. If the dev is serious about the product they will publish more details about their shuffling and dealing algorithms and rng. And they will also look more deeply into these complaints and maybe consult someone with a deeper math background to help.
